As an employee and someone who has been around tractors all my life when I was looking for a new job as a Mechanic Kubota was the only tractor company I applied for. Dont get me wrong John Deere, Case, Bobcat, and name a manufacturer all have amazing machines and power plants but Kubota by far through my life has been the most Dependable, efficient and all and all most thoughtfully designed equipment manufacturer around. Quality is thought of at every step including on the service level 20 years down the line. Anyways no one's paying me to say this I just thought I would share my feelings on this.

Only for certain export markets where a certain minimum ‘local content’ is required. These are referred to as Semi Knocked down or Fully Knocked Down, SKD or FKD respectively. It used to be far more common than it is today, when tractors were far simpler.
..tuve la oportunidad de vender hace muchos años (1981)...en ese momento no se sabía mucho de este buen tractor lo cotizaban quienes conocían de él...ahora (2021) tengo entendido que es solo un buen comentario de un buen tractor...nadie se atrevió a importarlo...las unidades que vendí eran unos tractores chicos de trocha viñatera y de poco HP...muy versátil..(tamaño....peso ... potencia....valor $)
@@mikezahnow1605 Above 40 hp, MF by a long way. The French built models are OK as they have ZF transaxles, but Kubota have a long way to go on their smaller models to catch up with JD CNH and AGCO/MF/Fendt/Valtra or even ARGO/Landini/McCormick

No the M8 are in cooperation with versatile. M7 are all developed and built by Kubota in France for the european market.
