I've Never been in a church as a Christian. I got saved at start of the pandemic, a couple of the churches in my tiny UK town were open but nobody was there.
There was no sermon, no one talking about Jesus, nothing.
The pastor sat at side with his mask on, he was listening to the radio and reading the newspaper.
All the churches in my area were the same.
So I listened to a pastor online, the first one I found was JD Farag, in Hawaii.
I have Never experienced the feeling of being around others who truly love Jesus,
So my Christian experience has been a solitary one,
I kept away from those that used to encourage me to do wrong, a bad crowd.
Jesus really did save a wretch when He came for me. Thankyou Jesus 🙏
I shared the Gospel, then apparently I got a plague, because everyone steered clear of me..
Its just been Jesus and me.
Now I'm worried that I haven't been holy.
This video has given me a lot to think about. Thankyou.
Stay strong, pray regularly, and read your bible each day. I know how it feels to be solitary in your faith :) and it can be a real test especially when you're new to learning the Gospel, I've been looking for a church also down here in the Oz, one that is following the gospel and not the world.
Me too! I have been looking for a Christ centered church that believes the whole counsel of God for 2/3 years now. I spend a little time with believers, here and there, but even then I miss what no longer seems to be available in many churches since many no longer host Sunday School and bible study. I just wanted to chime in to say, you guys are not alone in your sentiments/experiences. But God knows, we must be close to the return of our Savior and we must cling to Jesus through the word and through prayer. He will protect us til he comes.

Don’t worry. This happened to me too. Pray to God that you will find true believers of Jesus to fellowship with then also look for a church to meet others. You might be surprised.

People use the excuse to sin by saying "we are not under the law," but Paul makes it clear that we are not supposed to continue in sin, the very thing that got us into this mess in the first place, & Paul also adds that the law is a tutor, the knowledge of sin. So we are to pursue holiness and stay in covenant & not backslide like the children of Israel did plenty of times. We must also, however, maintain a humble attitude because even though we may walk Holy, we are still worthy of Hell fire just as any other sinner. Praise Jesus for His sacrifice, amen!

I really needed to hear this today. My mother in law is trying to destroy my marriage. I am new to being a Christian and almost fell into her hell trap. Thank you Jesus for making me realize how important it is to stay around people of your own kind no matter what.

Stay in the Word daily, Forgive her, Pray for her.. my own dad pulled a gun on me and pointed it at me. He was a abusive alcoholic and hit my mom in front of me. I forgive him and pray for him. I still talk to him but I set BOUNDARIES with him. Believe me.. Stay in the Word of GOD it will guide you.

Pursuing Holiness is sanctification, and the Bible explains you are sanctified (made Holy) through following the truth:
John 17:17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world. And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth.
This is what we need to hear, this is what I’m praying for all day, everyday. Thank You my great King for hearing my prayers and working them out Your own way. How many of you believe that the name of the only Son of the Creator is "Jesus"? the name of the Son is not "Jesus" because it expresses no meaning. In Hebrew it is different, it has a specific meaning: the Son of YAHUAH (יהוה) bears the name of his Father. He is called YAHUSHA (יהושע), which means "YAHUAH is salvation". "YAHU" is short for YAHUAH and "sha" (שע) is "salvation" in Hebrew. We do not use the name that the Romans or Greeks chose but the one that his Father chose.

I have sinned and fallen short of his glory, and I hate myself for it. My faith may be in vain because of this, but I will never lose it as well as lose hope.
I'm SO grateful that I'm in a church in the US that continually preaches holiness and not in a legalistic way. It's from a place of love. Closely following Jesus leads us to holiness.

Not true. The Thief on the Cross lived a sinful life up until moments before he died. He merely had faith and believed. He didn't do any good works. He didn't get baptized. He merely believed. Paul himself lamented about still being in sin. As long as you and I are in these flesh bags... we will sin. A truly born again Christian will not have the desire to sin, and there is a big difference between that and knowing that in the flesh we will still sin.

Consider that there are two resurrections separated by the thousand years according to John's Revelation. John also recorded Jesus's words in John 5 that, "The time is coming and now is that the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those who hear shall live." This is the first resurrection: being born again. Jesus goes on to say, "An hour is coming in which all those in the tombs will hear his voice and will come forth, those having done good to the resurrection of life, and those having done evil to the resurrection of condemnation." This is the second resurrection: the great singular event where Jesus defeats physical death upon his return. Where are the thousand years? We're in them.

The enemy has come in like a flood! It's hard to hear the Truth of God being preached nowadays. We are surrounded by the preaching of false Christs and by teachers who should not be teaching due to their ignorance.
Yes, WE must seek holiness. Jesus does cover our shortcomings, but we still have to participate in our own SANCTIFICATION for that is pressing toward the mark of the high calling. Christ, not others and not our old man, Christ is the MEASURE.

Saving repentance is realizing that you are a sinner deserving of God's just punishment in Hell and turn (repent) from whatever you trusted in before, if indeed you trusted in anything; to trusting in the person and finished work of Christ alone for salvation.
How can you possibly trust Christ alone for salvation when you are also trusting in your performance?

I didn't say that I trust in my performance. We are saved by grace, through faith, not of works, but it is unto good works. People often stop short of Ephesians 2:10. Works do not save us but faith without works is dead. Antinomianism and works based salvation are both heretical.

Ive been saved for almost a year know so I'm a babe in christ but, I feel like God has given me so much knowledge and understand and love ive never imagined b4. I know him and his promises and his ways so why cant i get so close to him that i literal walk with him. I wanna see him, feel him, touch him, go out and die for him but i feel like im missing something. Im 19 now and i havent gotten into a church and only "elders" in christ that is around me is my dad and his grandma. The holy spirit shared his anguish with me a few days ago for the church of christ and its funny because im not in a church yet i can see and feel his pain. I also have a hard time dealing with lust ever since i was 6 or 7 years old. I apologize if my thoughts are everywhere.
There is a parable in The Word about workers of a field. One worker shows up before dawn and works the entire day. Another worker shows up near the end of the workday to work. At the end of the day, both are paid the same wage. It doesn't matter how long you have chosen to lay down your life to take up His. You are part of The Kingdom of Yah!! HalleluYah
Get in His Word. Ask His Holy Spirit to help you understand how Holy Yah truly is. Lay down anything that you'd feel shame for, if He was standing beside you. He made promise that no matter how many times I messed up and failed, he would chastened me to him and do it with his loving kindness. He is so good to me. It's so hard to understand how he this loving and this holy.

Please, stop with the deceptive titles. Of course someone is preaching about this. The question is, are you willing to listen? It is not the preachers but us, the followers that needs to change. We have access at our finger tips every translation of the Bible in every language available for us to read at any time. Think about that. Back in the days of Martin Luther, Bible was chained to a lectern and only way to read it was to get a permission for it. Fast forward to present, we are blessed with the Word of God that we can access anywhere, anytime. In it, all of these truths are there for us to discover. So why are we depending on the preachers to "preach" to us the "cut out" part of the Bible??? Read your Bible. And if you have a question, ask your pastor. Be an active believer, not a passive one. Christ parable of the pounds is scriptural proof that OSAS is heretical. Christ plainly stated that the lazy servant who hid his pound in the ground was stripped of that pound. Christ's parable about the 10 virgins is also proof that OSAS is heresy, particularly because it teaches that half of the Laodiceans will be among the condemned. And since Christ guaranteed, i don't see any logical reason to believe anyone over Him.

Most of the OT Prophets, and most of the NT Apostles has one thing in common, their message to the Earth started with REPENTANCE, and because of their message of Repentance, they were Murdered.
Also, keep in mind with at least one of the stories about people ripping the Bible up. There are some people being saved behind the scenes of this. Because we should also remember what the Bible says about the shepherd that goes after the one sheep that is lost. Yet we should also remember we have a God that hat is willing to walk through The Valley of the shadow of death with us, and be our light in the darkness.

NKJV has copyright, by using different words, to the Free KJV,. So by man's greed, meanings in the Word have been lost.
At 13:56 Two verses have been cut short to make one new verse, the parts cut off, are the key to receiving this Godly gift. Through the knowledge of God and Jesus. Why are motivational speeches replacing His Word and removing His power? People get so high on these speeches, but they are subtly replacing God's Word. Be a Berean who diligently searched the Scriptures to see what Paul said was true. I hope this blesses someone, as most will get offended at me.

When you have the faith, your heart is driven to do the works. You don't do the works because someone or some Authority or some church says you have to. There's a huge difference between the two.

This is a misquote or a misunderstanding. John Bevere is completely wrong in this. "There is nothing good for you outside of God" isn't in the Bible and it isn't implied there either.
If you are fearful of being deceived then you are already, because you are relying on your self to ensure you stay saved. Jesus said "you can do nothing without me" which means we should not trust on our own judgement if we are really saved or not. We MUST BELIEVE HIM WHO CANNOT LIE to fulfill his promise to us. Jesus said 'he has overcome the world ' and we know He is not a fool to attempt to save us if he cannot complete it. But because of unbelief they didn't enter into His rest which condition God said we must fear getting into(Heb4:1). So let us enter into His rest, trusting in his promises knowing fully well that He is faithful who promised us by the blood of Jesus Christ.
You can stay blessed because God is not going to change His mind about your salvation.
What James 1:16 - is really saying is that the gift of salvation is perfect and God doesn't keep changing His plans. He says that angry men don't poses the righteousness of God.
He goes on to say that if you read it in your Bible that you are saved by faith and you remember it and do not forget it, then you are a doer of the word of God.

This is false, evangelical teaching. Eph. 2 says a person is saved by grace, NOT Christ's blood. As the Bible says in Rom. 5:10, Christ's blood reconciles a person to God. It doesn't save them any more than an animal sacrifice can save someone. At least most of the falsehoods that permeate traditional Christianity stems from its adherents' failure to understand Christ and what His sacrifice actually does.
