Ancestry DNA matches . A match came up and I checked it out . A young lady on my sister's side was adopted out of our family Ancestry listed her as a 1st or 2nd cousin when in fact I am her great Aunt. Anyway she is found. Praise God

Praise _Science_ - if left up to God, she's never had been found.

@@frankhooper7871 sciences are just tools to understand how god has created all of this. we have so much yet to learn. but then, everyone has his own way of picturing the world we live in

@@frankhooper7871 idiot, God allowed us to "discover" science, a way to examine his creation.

Thank you for this video! I got a better understanding about cM's.

Very nice explanation on this. I find the relationship estimates provided by most DNA websites aren't the best and using charts, such as the one in your video by Blaine Bettinger, give a more practical look at the relationship estimate.

At 2:12 we see that 8th cousins share more centimorgans on average than 7th cousins do. Is this due to a higher chance of multiple shared ancestors at the 8th cousin level? Does it just level out from there to 9th cousins, etc?

Can you please explain any possible blind spots in a DNA test if any. Why is it that DNA similarities cluster not along the lines of political border but in broad regions? Will the specificity of certain ethnicities become more exact in time?

Is it possible for a biological parent and child to only share 1615cM? and both share with the father's aunt and child's great aunt (allegedly) to also share 1680 cM ? This shows the father to actually be an uncle or half brother to the child he raised??? Any medical science explanations??
