  • QUICK TIP - When changing colors of tracks or clips in PreSonus Studio One 5, you can simply use the mouse scroll wheel on any color tab instead of clicking into the color palette.

    Most people don't know this little trick, and it's a huge time-saver when setting up a new project.
    Just hover over any color tab, scroll the mouse wheel, and the color will change - simple.

    Very useful! Believe it or not, colors help with the creative process, tracks management and instruments group.

    I've heard good things about studio one being a similar work flow to logic. Maybe I'll check it out sometime

      If I was on Mac I'd probably just stick with Logic, the price is right, it has most of the features of every other DAW, built just for OSX, and no subscription. No DAW is intrinsically better than any other, it just depends on the features you need, i.e. surround, ARA2, etc... But I'm a Windows person.

      @@BenoniStudio i honestly don't want to move to windows and have to set up some buggy unusable drivers or have to deal with blue screens. i do use windows more often but mac os is my go to for all music stuff... also vital is coming out in 6 days
