  • Fall Turkey Hunting can be one of the most
enjoyable times a hunter can spend out in
    the woods during the fall.
Sadly it's been on a decline in
    the last several years.
Even many "Seasoned" Spring Turkey Hunters
don't understand the Fall pursuit of the Turkey.
This is just one of the tactics in
in the bag of Fall Turkey Hunting.
Turkey Hunting whether in the Spring
or Fall is a Absolute priceless experience.
If you've never hunted Turkeys in the Fall
your missing out on some of the most
fun when it comes to Turkey Hunting.

I've hunted turkey since 1982. Terribly addicted! Enjoy and agree with all of your advice. Would say in California we aren't using lead shot, (illegal) advise Hevi shot #4, 1 5/8 ounce, 1450 fps. It works with a modified choke killing quickly at 45 yards. A full choke makes it like rifle shooting at 30 yards, 6-8 inch spread. Thanks for your channel.

Shot my first ever turkey (at age 59) this spring. 22lb Gobbler - was a total thrill. Your advice was instrumental in my success! I'm now a complete convert to turkey hunting.
This fall turkey hunting video is perfect timing. I can't wait for the fall shotgun hunt here in Ontario, Canada to open mid October!!

Brother I've spent my whole life in the woods hunting every critter there's a season for. Anyone that thinks they know it all is a fool that said I've learned alot from your videos. My uncle taught me the kee kee in fall and how to bust em up and sit down and wait. Lots of times they will come back within minutes and you can just take your pick

Haven’t had the best weather for turkey hunting so I’m probably just gonna hunt turkey when I’m hunting deer since the seasons intertwine

I seen a bunch of hens this morning deer hunting. I've never tried turkey hunting but I plan to. Unfortunately we don't have a fall season. I've actually thought about taking some calls deer hunting and trying them out just to learn how to call turkey when the deer hunting is slow. I don't think the deer would mind if I sounded like a turkey.

Cool video but one thing I can't figure out is if your close enough to bust up the flock, why wouldn't you just harvest one at that point? Is it to isolate a single bird?

      Most time
They will see you long before
      You get into shotgun range.
So they scatter when your 50
      to 100 yards depending on
      when they see you.

Matt-- you have the best Utube Turkey Hunting Videos out there. I will upload this one to huntingny.com in the Turkey Forum. I have been lifting weights 3 times a week to get rid of the Doughboy look in my video. Not easy at age 60.
