Grace means a lot of things to a lot of different people. In this video we were hoping to capture several random people holding a sign showing what Grace means to them. It was fun hearing each person explain what it means to them and why they chose that specific phrase.
It is hard to sum up the Grace of God and His Son Jesus Christ in one word. It is comforting to know that, because of the love of God and the sacrifice of His Son, we can be saved, even after all the mistakes we make.
We wanted to shoot the video early in the morning as the sun was rising to symbolize the heavens, the angels, and Christ's resurrection. We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful morning with the sun peaking through the clouds and the amazing mountains in the background.

I led a group on an Alcohol and Drug unit one day. I was filling in...Spirituality Group. I printed the words to "Amazing Grace" and handed them out. Within minutes, every single person started singing. Knew the words. Thirty years as a therapist.....the best day of my working career.

Choose this day whom you will serve. It’s time to get off the fence. Either you serve God or you don’t. Anybody can learn to sing Amazing Grace but that doesn’t automatically make the person a follower of Christ nor a partaker in the grace that He bestows on those who have given their lives in heartfelt devotion to Him. You have a serious decision to make: will you choose God for real, or will you fake it all your life, or as long as you have the stamina and incentive? I apologize that RUclips comments haven’t the capacity to carry a sincere, pleading tone of voice, nor the ability to share my deep seated concern for you, nor yet the love which God has placed in my soul for those who are not walking with Him, whether they realize it or not. Many nights as I tuck my grandma into bed, I consider that it could possibly be the last time I do and I wish with all my heart that I could make the decision for her to cry out for God to grant her a penitent heart and I wish I could somehow impute repentance to her... but it’s her choice, and all I can do is pray for her. And it’s now your choice, and all I can do is pray for you. Call upon God; beg Him to reveal Himself to you. Cast yourself upon His mercy and do not harden your heart as in the day of rebellion. DDFStar Once you know God you will understand; I hope it's not too late by then. Every knee will bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of the Father. That day there will be doubt in no one's mind that God is real, God is good, and God is just. The righteous will be resurrected to life and the wicked to everlasting punishment.
If you do not know the Lord, you cannot discern counterfeit. Spiritual things are spiritually discerned so that the natural man cannot understand them. Jesus said my sheep hear my voice and they know me. The Pharisees had lots of religion and the entire law and prophets, but didn't know God or they would have recognized Jesus. Why would they have known Christ if they knew God? God's Spirit was upon Jesus and God's truth proceeded from His lips. Jesus was equal to God. He was from God. He was with God. He claimed to be God in the flesh, so anyone who claims to believe on Jesus but doesn't acknowledge this truth is worshipping a God of their own imagination, and anyone who claims to worship God but doesn't worship and adore and live for Jesus is not truly worshipping God.
Just like then, when someone knows God, he can recognize God in a believer who is filled with the Holy Spirit. His life will be completely different from the world, he will have a hunger for God, a hunger for holiness, a love for truth, etc. There is no middle ground. If your life looks like the world, if you don't have a testimony of what God has done in your life to help you overcome sin and be conformed into the image of Christ, if you don't know what in the world I'm talking about, you are yet in your sins and haven't fully given your life to God, and you need to repent.
(If you have the Spirit of Christ within you, He will teach you these things and I'm preaching to the choir, but that never hurts either; just cause you can sing in a church doesn't mean you know the object of your praise, or that during the week you only praise God and not any man.)

DDFStar, I apologize that I was unable to clearly explain what I was talking about. I am pretty sure that if you had what I was talking about, you would get what I was talking about. The Lord Jesus Christ reveals Himself to His own, and not to the world. If you want to be one of His, you can't just decide how you want to try to worship Him.
I'll be straight forward about the big issue that sticks out right away: If you happen to be in a cult like Mormonism, you have a long way to go to learn how He deserves to be worshipped. To say someone worships Him who affiliates himself with a God-opposing cult is at best a half-truth. I am pretty sure there are people in Mormonism and Catholicism and other cults who do love Jesus but they are so confused. My heart goes out to them and if they truly seek God with all of their hearts, they will find Him. About my first comment, people always say you can't tell a book by its cover; did you know the Bible doesn't say that? It says you will know a tree by its fruit. 1 John says that anyone who claims to know God but doesn't keep His commandments is a liar. I could go on and on but here's the thing: Jesus said that no man can enter the kingdom of heaven without being born again. (John 3)
Let's back up a little: The Law was given through Moses to show us God's heart and to prove how much we need a Savior. Israel kept trespassing and breaking the Law because the law was imposed upon them, rather than imparted to their character. Jesus said that springs of living water would spring up from any man who believed on Him. He came to fulfill the Law, not by making more rules and rituals, but by writing His desires on our hearts when we are "born again". Only after we come to a point where we realize we need a Savior or we are toast can we then take the next step and ask, "What shall we do to be saved?" After Jesus was crucified and resurrected, He ascended on High, taking captivity captive and giving gifts to men. What gifts? Everlasting life to His followers, and the Holy Spirit, which was the earnest, or proof, of their eternal salvation until they should go to be with Christ for eternity. When the disciples first received the gift of the Holy Spirit, they preached Christ to the Jews who had traveled to Jerusalem to keep the law, and God convicted their hearts. They realized they deserved judgement and asked, "Men and brethren, what shall we do?" Peter told them they needed to repent, be baptized, and they would receive the Holy Spirit, as was prophecied by Joel. The conviction of sin, turning from sin (repentance), baptism, and filling of the Holy Spirit is what a normal Christian "re-birth" should look like. False religions grab parts of the truth and men who only know the truth as a theology but not as a personal relationship with their Creator will often be tricked. The Holy Spirit guides us and convicts us of sin. Someone who knows the Lord can often see through people if they are listening close to God. I know that is going to offend someone and I really don't want it to but on judgement day, if I see any of you who read this, I want you to be on your way to heaven, not hell, and I hope this has planted a seed in your heart to seek God diligently and leave false religion in favor of Jesus Christ alone. Just looking through the RUclips channel to which I have posted these comments, I know the channel is run by someone who I am quite sure doesn't have what I am talking about, whether he realizes it or not.
