The quick changes to thrust stance to do tactical retreat and doing that perfect “see through” retreat in the middle of scorpion lords combo on 1:57 & Pillar stance to dodge the venom/poison aoe attack on 0:58 and finally using rock spell to get that extra focus to do full 4 focus heavy R2 at the end… just wow!!!! Ongbal you truly are THE BEST soulslike and souls gamer in the whole world! Truly hats off to your amazing reaction skills and strategic plays utilising all the given mechanics of the game. Im glazing hard rn because I’m struggling soooo much on scorpion lord 😭 I’m out here using all my spells and transformations while he’s just full melee with perfect dodges and one rock spell godddamn!
I wouldn't like the movie if the main character was a Gary Stue. No obstacles to overcome and no character growth/development. Just a boring power fantasy. That's why the Star Wars sequels suck.

The character you play as is completely mute, you get 0 choice on how you interact with characters, and they literally don't have any growth/well written moments. Its fine for the game to pretty much just be an action power fantasy but don't act like its got some deep meaningful writing lol

I am shocked. Not a single damage here. I had to do 25 tries then i beat the boss after multiple upgrades and so mannyy things. Bro @ongbal... you are true inspiration in playing these games.

I played against Yellow Loong first, so Scorpionlord was easier for me. His timings were better but I still spent like 45 minutes on him.

Definitely in the top 10 hardest bosses in the game probably even in top 3 to be honest.
This boss took me more tries than Yellow Loong and final boss. Compared to them the moveset is simpler but the damage is way less forgiving
I mean most people agree that it’s a top 5 hardest boss. The thing never staggers, hits like an absolute truck, poisons you, endless combos.
