Incredible fight. This guy was so tough just to beat. To get him without being hit is crazy. Agree the arena is too small and I remember having performance issues especially when he does the lightning phase transition. But he is one of the few fights in this game that keeps you on the edge of your seat.
Yeah, it's such a cool boss fight with a poor arena, not only is it small, but it's narrow messes with the camera when we are cornered and pushed into the wall, and there is vegetation not needed that affects visibility! I didn't have much trouble with this fight on my first playthrough but looking at the feedback from the community, I had to do it, and mastering it with these restrictions took a bit more time than expected! Thanks :)

Curiously I prefer the later stage of this fight than the first half haha because with the "endless" combos I can be active punishing him, it feels good and all the counter-attacks fit so well! I have done this boss first time every time I don't get how people say its the hardest boss but I guess I probably struggled with bosses that others found easy :D But this video you have it down to a fucking art form. Regarding your question, I will probably make just a couple more videos of this game, I'm focused on the hardest and best boss fights with restrictions! I wish to have time to play more and work more on the channel, but being a father of 2 kids (1 and 2 years old) and having a demanding full time job, I simply struggle to find time to play and focus on challenges! I'm doing my best to conciliate everything on my personal life, there are a lot of responsibilities and I don't earn anything from RUclips :)
They should make a Street Fighter kind of game where any Wukong characters can play against each other. It would be amazing to see these phenomenal players to go at it with one another.

I'm playing on PC now but I was a PS5 player for many years and never faced any problem with "timing" or "precision" things there! It should not make any difference.
That's the main usage of it yes, but the charged heavy attack is also good for some occasions (even though is more efficient damage-wise and quickness to execute the heavy attack with 4 focus points of the thrust stance immediately after a dodge). Also, there are a few bosses where the Sweeping/Churning Gale skills of pillar stance suit well, like the double Stone Monkey phase to hit both monkeys simultaneously in the transition! It's a shame this stance lacks parry/counter ability.
I did beat him in the 4th try, but with good gear, and farmed skill points. Very hard boss. A boss I could not beat yet is Erlang. I dont know how, to much health and damage
@@MugiwaraNoLima i try both Xbox controller and keyboard mouse, the Xbox feels little slow, mouse feels faster smoother while playing black myth wukong or maybe that is normal?
You just need to know when you can do it, normally, it's for the first 2 or 3 light attacks or even 4 if the window is so tight that the light attack combo needs to be faster executed to fit in the window and be able to activate 'see through' amidst the combo. Also, unfortunately, the game eats some inputs if you press the button during some animations and mashing is a way to ensure your character does it ;)

Ah, forgot to mention, the arena really s*cks, too small and narrow, there is vegetation not needed! This mess up a bit with visibility and camera :)

Erlang is a very complex boss, with too many different combos and variations, takes time to get it! You will beat it for sure :)

I don't have an Xbox controller, I prefer PS5 one, but it should be the same, it's just a question of which you feel more comfortable with :)
