Remember, we use this tense...
1. To talk about something that started in the past and continues in the present
2. When we don't care to emphasize when EXACTLY something happened
3. When we talk about achievements
4. When we talk about things we expect to happen that haven't happened yet
5. To express a change that happens over time
6. To talk about life experiences

Hi Stefanie. This is the best present perfect class I’ve ever had! I’ll practice with your guide. I love your videos. I’m Brazilian and I’ve never had a class about subjunctive. Here, in Brazil, we have three tenses for subjunctive, indicating past, present, and future. English lessons here cover the equivalent to present, like “what do you want me to do?”. We make some comparisons for the others, but I’d like to know the right or “official” grammar for this. Thanks a lot! See you next time! Oh... I already speak English, but I found this video very interesting. Since I haven't even once thought about the grammar that I use, I just use it because I hear native speakers use it it's kinda interesting to hear the rules I already know intuitively explained in details. So many nuances I didn't even know existed.

Easy thing to remember: gun isn't, like, your friend. In russian we say "пострелять с ружья/автомата/пистолета", but in English it's a bit different. You shoot a gun, play videogames, date a girl, etc. When you say "I want to shoot with a gun", it sounds weird, as if you want that gun to shoot its own gun too while you are shooting yours. Hope that makes sense.
And if you want to learn how to speak English you need to talk to people, it doesn't matter how good or bad you are, really.

According to me this is one of your best video with all the examples you shared with us and also because this verb tense is the one we struggle the most. I already knew about this tense but it’s helping me to feel more confident to use it on a daily basis. We don’t have a verb tense like that in French I have to get used to it. At the end of the day it’s not that complicated. Keep up working the way you do, and keep smiling, you’re very good at what you do !

I don't know why but when I watch your videos I feel as I am able to speak english like you, I mean, you speak so fast most of the time but we can understand you perfectly or almost perfectly, I dont need check out the subtitles, is like… Wooow!
