Everyone loves when those high high notes are nailed; but you also have a couple FANTASTIC true bass voices in there that were wonderfully deep and resonating
I vividly remember listening to this song on Christmas day 2016 while on vacation in Paris with my mom. Right at 2:22, we just happened to be driving past the actual Notre Dame Cathedral, and the bells were ringing. It was pretty surreal to me. That part of the song still gives me the goosebumps to this day
It's her length of the holds that build without rests, the quality & clarity of tone, and unwavering consistency in sound through the progressions, then ending by taking one final breath and going from the concert Bb and finally shifting to the high Eb concert. I am a trumpet player and work toward these results every day. Outstanding vocal group, a joy to watch, and uplifting Christ. Brings tears to this musician's eyes. Wow!
This really makes the whole group shine. You get those massive soprano notes but the super deep base notes as well. You need every part from the deepest base to the highest tenor notes up to the sopranos and everything in between. Its probably the most vocally diverse song they have done. Its so beautiful.
