Hi Fumi. I love this episode, it hit home for me. When I told my son’s father, it was over 25 years ago, he look at me and said “who do you think is going to want you” I replied, that is no longer your problem. Fast forward today he tells everyone including our son, how he messed up and that he will always love me. On another note when are you coming out with your bra line? I need help. Thank you

Hello Fumi this episode is so beautiful. Yes my dear I too loved my husband and he through it all away for someone else. Fumi I was so devastated and I had an infant. Fumi thank God I had a beautiful cycle of friends that helped me get through the difficult times, because I had no family members in the state I was living. By Gods grace and my determination to succeed I attended The Ohio State University and earned my BA of Social Science. Unfortunately my ex-husband died a year after our divorce. Before his death one late night he called to thank me for being the mother of his only child. I’m proud to tell you our daughter got married and I’m a proud grandmother of a beautiful baby girl. May God continue to bestow his blessing upon you.
But FUMI what do you think about middle aged men who only want a woman so that he has a caretaker/nurse for him in his later years? Because that is a real thing too. I believe men at that age are still looking out for their own selfish needs.
Another thing I always tell my nieces, "they always come back so cry now the heartbreak but prepare yourself for the foolery to come" You will be better in time, they may not. So be prepared they will always come, ALWAYS come back.
Seven roles that a father plays in the life of his family: provider, protector, leader, teacher, helper, encourager, and friend. Love is an action word, it does not die but transforms.
Shaq, has it right. He can still love, protect, provide for the mother's of his children. He messed up but he made a course correction. If my husband didn't care about his ex-wife I'd have a problem with that. For example, his ex and her husband lost electricity. She needs to power her wheelchair. We offered a hotel room for them to spend the night. They have been divorced for 50 years. That doesn't mean that he couldn't lend a hand to help her. I stand with him 100 percent. I've started to talk to her. She is a lovely person. My husband and his ex created a wonderful son whom I adore. You can't let people live in your head rent free. Let stuff go. Don't live in the past. Looking good, Fumi. Excellent advice as usual.
@@ajokeemmanuel4649 thank you. I like living a peaceful life. Living a peaceful life means treating people the way you want to be treated. My husband and I have a bond that I can't put into words. Fumi did about Ole. We have trust. When you have trust from being in a 35 year marriage there's a track record to remember how you got there. Be blessed. ❣️
A good woman is a treasure that is worth more then rubies! To know your value as a women is empowering and very sensual to men and women alike. Fumi your platform spreads this truth that must be understood and embraced by all women💋
My feelings are bittersweet. On one hand, I respect him for acknowledging his poor decisions and how he hurt and negatively impacted the lives of his past girlfriend/wife, but I always feel resentful towards men who only learn once they’ve completely destroyed their home by being reckless. It’s as almost if they genuinely believe women are incapable of walking away.
My dad cheated on my Mom throughout their marriage and she stayed through it all. It wasn't until he thought he had fathered an outside child that my Mother decided to leave. When she told him she wanted a divorce, his very first response to her was "so you're just gonna break up the family?!?" YES, he cheated and almost made a baby but accused her of "breaking up the family". His second response was to remove her name from the joint bank account. Fast forward to now, post divorce, and they have a better relationship since there is no longer a cloud of lies, denial and infidelity hanging over them. There seems to be more mutual appreciation since there are no more marital obligations. He no longer has to lie and sneak and she no longer has to pretend like she doesn't know about his lies and cheating. Funny how life works and how God/the Universe/the Devine restores harmony by removing that which we think we want and restoring us with what we truly need. For that reason, it has been a blessing for me to bare witness to their journey.

@her8923 Fumi said it was fake at the beginning of the video. I don't think @queenc8280 meant any harm when she said the "fake gucci." I think she just meant that, if Fumi had never said it was fake, no one would know the difference.
Ooooo PREACH Fumi !! You are speaking the truth!! My ex is sitting up lonely ALONE. He's having a midlife crisis, has gained a ton of weight and hasn't been able to replace me. I have forgiven his stupid ass and the bonus is that I have never been more over him, than I am in this moment. I'm winning! 😊
You're preaching truth.......This happened with my ex husband.....he has childhood trauma.....I let go everything. Its was rough getting past the harm. But my parents taught me not hold onto any of this.I am trying to help others recover now.....I got better Fumi......not bitter. Now I have a lovely home for rent and grand rising again, even though its not easy.....I also got major help with counseling and am truly healed. My ex is stunned, because I'm quite and never retaliate. Great content, love it....thank you....
Marriage is Gods arrangement he meant for us to be a permanent bond of love faithful and loyalty to each other. ❤❤❤. Genesis 1:27- 28 Genesis 2: 20-25 . Love never fails. It tragic to hear a middle aged man speak with so much regret over the way he failed to appreciate his wife who bore him 5 children who took care of the family and who had to endure all of the unnecessary pain because he didn’t appreciate what he had. This is unfortunately a hard lesson he had to learn. It took her remarrying for him to wake up boy what a nightmare . He humbly acknowledged his immaturity was the cause of him loosing his beloved and beautiful wife. Growing old with the love of our life is better than growing old alone and all of the money in the world 🌎 cannot replace her. Shaquille is teaching men out there appreciate your wives. 😊
It is never too late to acknowledge your wrongs and to make amends. He wronged his wives in these streets, so he should apologize in these streets. Thank you Shaw for learning better and doing better.
In my opinion, Shaq did nothing wrong admitting he messed up. The problem was him saying another man's wife will always be his wife. He was very disrespectful to his ex wife and her husband.
@@SLees-tv7gh- Maybe that just means he will always love and respect her and she is the mother of his kids. He doesn’t have to be in love with her or want to be back with her.
omg I'm literally crying listening to this I walked away from a 27 yr marriage this truly helped me my divorce was finalized this January it would of been 30 yrs this year the hardest thing I ever had to do but I would not tolerate infidelity ❤
He even admitted that Shaunie now has a man who loves her right Im proud hes learnt That will help break geberational curses Hes children atleast God willing they'll do better
Shaunie is a married woman. He needs to be respectful to her and her new husband and keep her name out his mouth. Why are you talking about providing for a woman who has a whole husband? He didn’t have any consideration for his own marriage and now he’s crossing boundaries with his ex wife’s new relationship. Selfish!
I had the same thought. I think he can choose better words to use that don't undermine her current relationship. She can't 'always' be his wife. Either she is or she isn't. In this case she definitely isn't.
Another great discussion Fumi! While I can respect Shaq for being open about how he ruined his marriage, it's still a day late and a dollar short. I can remember reading how scandalous he was with the side pieces he had. No wonder Shaunie finally dropped kicked him. Cheaters never want to believe that their good girl at home will leave them. It happened with my mom and dad, and even though he married one of his chicks on the side after my mom left him, he still would tell Mom how much he wanted her back. Smh
My favourite saying, “Just in case of incasesities” 😊😊. Need to earn your own coin, from the time that you are able to and for your own mental well being please.
On the contrary....TURN on the LIGHT in the KNOWING that there is NO need to forgive when WE RELEASE JUDGMENTS of right and wrong. When WE remember that WE ARE THE POWERFUL CREATORS OF OUR PRECIOUS JOURNEYS and EVERYTHING that comes upon MY path is because I CALLED IT FORTH AS A BLESSING. NOTHING IS BEING DONE TO ME... EVERYTHING IS BEING DONE FOR ME 🙏🏽💚😇💯‼️‼️‼️
I waited for my high school sweetheart to do time in prison. I believe people can change. He did. We're happy. Everyone told me to leave him. We've been together 21 years and married for 10. People have the right to mess up, pay consequences, be forgiven and try again. And people have the right to take a chance on those people.
Nope, women need to assume once a man has gone to prison he has either been tossed around or tossing other men around like prison meat. Tainted. The real question... would he have done the same for you?
Accountability. Shaq has been vocal about his past and I think that it is great because with his honesty, people can learn. I have heard a few men recall about an ex saying "the one who got away" when that person was good to them and they still didn't have the maturity at the time to see that and a few years after, they realized that they messed up. I'm all about people who can be true to themselves and admit on their wrongdoings. I particularly love how he also gives back to the community. I don't know the man personally but from what I've seen, he seems very grounded and at a stage in his life where he is reflecting on his past and improving. Great segment Ms. Fumi!

Fumi, for me you are so much on point today and we are 'in sync'! The Buddhist quotes express truths I have learned the hard way! Many years ago before I started living in the USA, I gave several thousand dollars to a man who was the lover of a friend of mine. She was from my country, but I only met her in that country where we were both living, him I only met through her, so I barely knew him. He was a business owner I was a professor, but everyone knows education is not a lucrative profession. I was young and naïve at the time and felt since he owned a business and a small apartment complex and his own home, he would not think of stealing from me, who owned nothing! I signed a 2-year contract to teach, which I did not renew, and saved every penny possible [while having to help my retired parents monthly] and decided to buy a beautiful 3 bed/2 bath home in a nice neighborhood here in the USA. He was going to be visiting the USA, while I was going home to my country, so I gave him my bank account book and the cash to deposit for me, so I would not be tempted to spend it at home. I was set to make the down payment in 30 days --- when I would be in the USA. When I went to the bank, the deposit had not been made. To make a long story short, I flew back to his country --- where I was no longer an expat teacher, but a tourist with 21 days only, allowed. He told me he HAD made the deposit and again I believed him, thinking no one would be bold enough to rob someone and lie blatantly to that person's face. I did, however, notice that he had bought an entire living room suite of furniture for his girlfriend. They did not live together, but she lived in the complex in which I had rented and he paid all her expenses as she was not working at the time I met her. He also bought clothes and gifts for her son from an ex-husband. She did not yet have his child when I was living there. I was in my twenties and from a sheltered environment. He kept giving excuses and I kept waiting, until my 21-day stay expired. I was them told by his girlfriend, who also had a baby with him, that he was planning to report my expired status to the authorities. That would have had me detained in jail until the next flight home [once per week]. I hurried to the closest attorney-at-law office I saw, paid him US$2.50K as a retainer, and fled the country like a thief. Unfortunately, he was a well-known businessman and native son --- old enough to be my father, with children older than I --- so he was friends with many of the country's high-ranking police personnel. A warrant was issued for his arrest for embezzlement, but it was never executed. He did give my attorney US$3K as partial payment, and the attorney took an additional US$1.50K of the US$3.00 as his payment, so I ended up paying out US$4K to recoup US$1.5K. I never got another dime!! While waiting here for the transcripts of my degrees and for them to be evaluated, I worked menial jobs, until I finally was cleared to lecture here. For years I fumed and became bitter as I lost the chance to purchase that house. In a short time I developed cancer, and I am convinced it was my toxic thoughts of anger and vengeance at the root of that. Thank God, I survived and am 21 years cancer-free. I have learned to forgive him for my own health, but I was never able to purchase a home, and am now still paying an exorbitant rent, and working when I should be retired! C'est la vie!
Fumi the eye makeup is everything. Iam so glad to see you popping those colors again. Soooo beautiful. Just don't stop keep wearing those vibrant eye colors.💯💯💯❤️

And, You know it, Fumi, watch this masterpiece for yourself x2, it was incredible, the exact moment you spoke hard truth one of the beautiful petals fell, it was masterful!
Noticed he never said “love” first. He said….protect, provide and love. Now you can see why he not only messed up once, but twice. Maybe if he was raised first to “love, protect, and provide” he wouldn’t have messed up the first time. God bless Shaq, it takes a real man to stand up and admit he messed up. Sad he just realized how great those women were.
I get your point, but protection is also a form of love, you don't cheat and expose your wife to diseases and disrespect from outsiders, if you truly want to protect her. It's good he's acknowledged his mistakes and I hope he finds love again.
He is a man.. To him things go in that order. For us women it's love first. Protection and provision for men overrides love. Which is why it is important to teach your man how he should love you.
Love is an action and it's through protecting and providing that the action of Love is manifested. Though frankly, the order these actions are manifested not so critical as doing all three...
I think he meant love in the form of affection/romance. The way I am, a man don’t get that from me unless he’s given me protection and provision 1st, so he got it right. 😂
I don't apologize or accept apologies, unless the words spoken or action taken was from a background of misinformation resulting in the recipient of the wrath being misjudged. Once the spoken words or action was done with full conviction and the offender still believes what was said/done, then why apologize, it then appears hypocritical and done only for the purpose of damage control.
Fumi😂 I absolutely love how Shawn is now preaching the gospel! Every chance he gets, every podcast he goes to, he will retell these stories. I saw him on one podcast where the silly men interviewing him wanted to blame Shaunie and he said Nope!! She did nothing, it was all him! I admire this of him; accounts will always be admirable to me. 1 key thing Shaq’s words always echo to me is that, the statement “men change/do better for their dream girls” is a FALLACY!! When exactly does this man learn and entrench how to be good, kind, loving & considerate if he hasn’t been doing it with his girlfriend before marriage. He fumbled his first babymom and his wife! This shows us that it’s doesn’t just happen over night that a man suddenly becomes “a good man”, it is harnessed over yers of consistency. It’s a pity so many young men will not listen to his words, they think they have time. They think their “prime years” are for running wild in the streets, juggling women and breaking hearts for sport.
I don't believe in that forgiveness nonsense. If someone hurts me, I'm not holding on the hatred or animosity but I would stay in my space and completely shut them out of my life so there's no chance to be in their space. In my world, they don't exist. End of story!

There are NO mistakes, accidents or coincidences on our BEAUTIFUL PLANET. WE ARE ALL WORTHY and DESERVING 🙏🏾💚😇 WE ARE WHOLE.
Why is it that men only have regrets until we leave them? Why couldn’t they say all these things when we were together? 🤦♀️ smh
Cowardice behavior and they see how their ex's level up once they have moved on.
Apology accepted, Access denied. This hit differently...
Seven roles that a father plays in the life of his family: provider, protector, leader, teacher, helper, encourager, and friend. Love is an action word, it does not die but transforms.
Absolutely...
Wow, word!

True
It takes a special person to make such a wonderful comment.
Be blessed. ❣️
You are amazing!
@@teacheschem thank you ❣️
A good woman is a treasure that is worth more then rubies!
Or that women don’t have feelings we don’t hurt when they do stupid stuff.
I will never get tired of listing to Aunty Fumi! My prayer for you is to fulfill your dreams and goals
That "fake gucci" fit is 🔥 FIRE!!! IT looks super cuuuute & looks authentic...I love it!!!! You make it look fabulous & no one would ever know Auntie Fumi!! We love your honesty!! Muahhhhhhh!😍😘🩵🩵🩵🙌🏾
How you know it's fake...why was it important for you to say it
Cause she said it herself? 😂
Wow! We can learn a lot from you. What dis it for you?
Fumi is so fabulous. The pajamas are all of that, I love them. Thank you for this review.
Fumi you are so real! Please don’t change! It truly shows the essence of your heart and soul 👸👑
He even admitted that Shaunie now has a man who loves her right
Im proud hes learnt
That will help break geberational curses
Hes children atleast God willing they'll do better
Shaunie is a married woman. He needs to be respectful to her and her new husband and keep her name out his mouth. Why are you talking about providing for a woman who has a whole husband? He didn’t have any consideration for his own marriage and now he’s crossing boundaries with his ex wife’s new relationship. Selfish!
Exactly! Spot on. Her husband is more than capable of taking care of her and can give her more than money too.
But he acknowledged that she's with a man who loves her right
I had the same thought. I think he can choose better words to use that don't undermine her current relationship. She can't 'always' be his wife. Either she is or she isn't. In this case she definitely isn't.
Maybe all 3 of them have that relationship. Unless she is objecting, we don’t know.
Out of respect he shouldn’t have said that. He just realized her worth? Move on Shak
Smh
That’s what she explained: Apology accepted…Access denied.
My favourite saying, “Just in case of incasesities” 😊😊. Need to earn your own coin, from the time that you are able to and for your own mental well being please.
Apologies accepted access denied yessssss
On the contrary....TURN on the LIGHT in the KNOWING that there is NO need to forgive when WE RELEASE JUDGMENTS of right and wrong. When WE remember that WE ARE THE POWERFUL CREATORS OF OUR PRECIOUS JOURNEYS and EVERYTHING that comes upon MY path is because I CALLED IT FORTH AS A BLESSING.
NOTHING IS BEING DONE TO ME... EVERYTHING IS BEING DONE FOR ME 🙏🏽💚😇💯‼️‼️‼️
This is so healing. I've been in this space for too long....it's time for me to heal.
I love what he said that he will never walk out store without buying something for someone.
I waited for my high school sweetheart to do time in prison. I believe people can change. He did. We're happy. Everyone told me to leave him. We've been together 21 years and married for 10. People have the right to mess up, pay consequences, be forgiven and try again. And people have the right to take a chance on those people.
So... how did that work in terms of your livelihood if he was likely stripped of rights?
Well depends on what he went to prison for but good for you.
How do you eat b/c it is hard for felons to work. How long did you wait?
Nope, women need to assume once a man has gone to prison he has either been tossed around or tossing other men around like prison meat. Tainted. The real question... would he have done the same for you?
@@YvetteCousin I’m guessing she fed herself.
Fumi this is my story too, my ex husband has so much regrets...he has ask me for forgiveness when I remarried to a wonderful man...we all good now...
I pray this episode goes viral 🙏 Everyone needs to hear the wisdom shared here 🔥❤️
Accountability. Fumi!

Hello Fumi, Wow! this episode resonates with me so much. I loved my Ex for (20) years, and he just couldn't get it together. He apologized eventually, but it was too late. As of last year, I found out he passed away from cancer. I pray he made his peace with God.
Great girl chat Fumi! I got married at 21yr! Still married to the same person 33 years now! Marriage is work! I am almost 55yr now. God is good all the time!
I really needed to hear this, thank you. Now I can forgive, heal and move on.
One must must forgive quickly!! You must!!
I have my peonies, my wig and my phone....Thank you for the inspiration you build within women. God bless you and your family.
Love that color on you of course you look great in anything
This should be a lesson to all men.
Too late for that. Should have kept that thing in his pants.
Mrs. Fumi, you did it again, looking fabulous and elegant in the color blue you are wearing. Trust me forgiveness is very hard. I understand Shaq and the wives forgive him. This man came back from all and admitted his faults. I respect a man like Shaq because he supports his children and his exes regardless of his millions. I believe that when we get older we then become wiser. The thing is your youth is not forever.
Fumi.
I was married 40 year I lost my husband in 2018 so I understand what you’re saying. Marriage is a one day at a time planning the future together and making sure each other is OK. ONE doesn’t need to see a psychiatrist. It’s OK to see someone, everyone should see someone it will make us all a better person. Thank you for listening. God Bless Us All🙏🏾🙌🏾

He's a real man to admit he was wrong.
Hi Fumi, your message is so true. I have experienced everything you spoke about. Forgiveness is for me and not for my ex. I know I will never get an apology from my ex and I know he will never find someone like me. Forgiveness is liberating. Thank you for always being real. ❤
Living and loving the entire look😍😍💜💜💜
Hi Fumi, started listening to you about three weeks ago. Your advice are always spot on to the public. You need your own talk show. You’re doing a fantastic job 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽aWell done ✅

And, You know it, Fumi, watch this masterpiece for yourself x2, it was incredible, the exact moment you spoke hard truth one of the beautiful petals fell, it was masterful!
Fumi you are soooo wise. Yesssss. I never want to go backwards at 59. 😌 #contentlife
See? This is why I say SOME TIMES you can forgive a cheater and they do change. I bet if she wanted to take him back, he'd never fumble her again.
YES MY SISTER. SINCE 1997. I TAKE THIS GIFT. FROM MISS OPRAH W. I LOVE YOU MISS FUMI D.V. THANKS
Always have your own coin.point taken!

I absolutely love how Shawn is now preaching the gospel!
O My Fumi....I truly LOVE YOU ❤👏🏽🙏🏽🤗 always on point.
Thanks, Fumi, for the reboot of the lesson my mother taught me 50+ years ago.
I don't believe in that forgiveness nonsense. If someone hurts me, I'm not holding on the hatred or animosity but I would stay in my space and completely shut them out of my life so there's no chance to be in their space. In my world, they don't exist. End of story!
Period💯
