      God bless you too! Shook his head in amazement perhaps? The only time I was given free reign to shred and divebomb in service was Lincoln Brewster's "Miraculum", haha.

    This guitar has an amazing clean tone with the knobs pulled up. Kept me from trading to a 24 fret model. I thought I’d get a guitar from my birth year as well. 💴 😂 nope, my marriage year is starting to be a problem as well, someone is getting old! Fun post! Great playing!

      Thank you for the kind words! Yes I can get a convincing strat quack out of this, which is making me question why I have so many strats in my collection.

  • @DaveSteele07
    @DaveSteele07 7 месяцев назад +1

    I’ve used Ibanez and PRS SE 7 strings for years. I’ve found them quite useful and diverse in tones. Plus since the stage was large and the bass player was way on the other side of the stage, I wanted some low end frequencies on my side of the stage.

    • @AllAboutWorshipGuitar
      @AllAboutWorshipGuitar  7 месяцев назад

      I'm a little jealous you have a large stage! It must be a delight to play at such a venue. 7 strings are fun! I never got around to learning to play them properly though, since I devolve into chugging those distorted B string riffs which get tiresome to everyone else listening to me after 5 minutes.

    • @DaveSteele07
      @DaveSteele07 7 месяцев назад

      @@AllAboutWorshipGuitar For me I tuned the 7 string to dropped A that way it can enhance the chords that would normally be played on a 6 string. So I basically play the parts regularly as if I would a 6 string guitar. But throw in the lower octave when I hit the barre chords that would have started on the 5th string of a 6 string guitar.

    This is a great demo of the JS1200. Thank you for posting! I actually have one of the earlier versions with the Edge Pro trem. Mine is also a lefty, which are rare. I think I paid around $1800 brand new in 2009

      @@AllAboutWorshipGuitar That's a great description! :D I can't say for sure if I've ever broken out into a shred solo during worship before....maybe it's happened...maybe not! ;) LOL

    Beautiful guitar, love the red. Even better story behind how you got it and the meaning.
    I used a black JS1000 for a couple of years in my church. Had no issues at all, so easy to play.
    Now I'm using a Gibson Les Paul Tribute...not your typical worship guitar again but it works for me

    I got this guitar but it stayed on thw case for 10 yrs now.. Apart from its away from me now( home country) against me in another country. The issue I had is tuning it and setting it up. Back them I was just a newbie without any knowledge on setup. Now I wanna go home and get it. Covid please go

    Where are you getting all of these phenomenal backing tracks to play with? They are so inspiring.

    • @AllAboutWorshipGuitar
      @AllAboutWorshipGuitar  11 месяцев назад +1

      Thank you for the kind words! It depends, some of them I've made myself (on a Windows rig that has since died), others I've created minus-ones using the Moises app. Making a track with Moises is more likely to get flagged with copyright though, if the riff is too iconic!

    • @vinnyp2115
      @vinnyp2115 11 месяцев назад +1

      @@AllAboutWorshipGuitarI kind of figured that, they are quite awesome.
      Also, in the beginning of the video you pan over your effects rig, is that setup what you use throughout this particular video? That tone is so amazing that i started scouring the web to find some of these pedals. I have a Boss GT1000 and I cannot get anywhere near that tone. I’m thinking about dumping it for separate pedals as well.
      I would love to see a video on ur settings… it’s so airy and spatial.
      BTW, your playing style is seriously impressive.. thank you for sharing this.

Please it would be a Great help

    • @AllAboutWorshipGuitar
      @AllAboutWorshipGuitar  3 года назад +1

      Hi there! I sense a heart to worship, and indeed the gear is a small part to play. It is all about the Lord! :) The GRG270DX is a comfortable guitar to play, but I would swap out the pickups for something better-Ibanez infinity pickups aren’t great in my opinion. But if you’re looking to get the tones closer to the worship albums today, you’re better off with a Telecaster style guitar. I would save up a little more to get a Fender Vintera series, they are well built, sound great, and are good value!
