      I know right, Ruby is the most inspirational person I watch. She always inspires me to get my life together and be exited about it. After watching her videos my head is instantly clearer and more motivated.

    I just started “resetting” how my days look today. I love the mornings, but I usually stay up until 2, sometimes later, and wake up at 10 or 11. I was able to wake up at 7:45 today. My goal is to wake up at 6 everyday. If you want to start waking up early, do it! In most cases there’s nothing stopping you. Getting out of bed to fresh sunlight shining through the windows is an inspiring way to start the day. Thanks for this video, it has definitely been motivational. 😀

      I had a routine of waking up at 5am for an entire year and these past two weeks I somehow managed to throw it off the wagon😭 but the way I managed to wake up early wasn’t by gradually doing it, I didn’t even go to sleep early the night before, I just woke up at 4:30 (for the first day I decided to wake up earlier than I was planning for the rest of the days) and threw myself out of bed to turn off the 5 different alarms placed around my house on all the devices I could find. I did this because I had to make myself really tired so that by the time it was 9 I was dying to sleep. I did the alarm technique for 3 days then I just had one that I had to get out of bed to do. Also USE THE LOGIC OF “I’M SLIGHTLY TIRED I NEED TO GO TO BED” instead of “IM TIRED LET ME STAY UP WATCHING SHE-RA UNTIL I PASS OUT”🤣 another point I was tired in the morning not because I didn’t get enough sleep but because I didn’t get enough water. Dehydration makes you tired and not wanting to get out of bed. Hope this helps😂

      Wow, it sounds like you were really dedicated! Even though you got off track lately, it’s really impressive. That putting alarms around the house method is smart. I would try that if I didn’t have parents and siblings who don’t want to be woken up that early. The best I can do is put my phone across my room on top of the bookshelf. But thanks for the tips! And good luck if you’re going to try to get back on schedule. 👍

    A super important point is definitely to put a strategy in place that makes you mark time - very well put Ruby!
    If every day is the same, it is very easy to not notice time pass, and lose weeks or months without realising it.
    I noticed how much better I was feeling when I started scheduling things on particular days, like D&D with friends on Sunday for example.

    Getting into alignment (a good feeling place) is KEY. When we start our work from a place of excitement and innate joy, the work becomes so much easier, more efficient, and with far little effort than if we push or force motivation! For me my morning alignment routine looks like writing letters with a feather quill, meditating, journaling, and going for a walk in my nearby forest and picking wildflowers for my journal. It's the simple delights that get us feeling good and motivated! :)

    This past semester I took a course called Jesus & Buddha in Dialogue, and it had a large focus on meditation and mindfulness. One of the books we read for the course was “Wherever You Go, There You Are,” written by Jon Kabat-Zinn. We read the first two parts of the book as a part of the course. I started reading the final portion of the book last night, and the most recent chapter I read was about waking up early in the morning and how to start the morning to set up your day to be more positive and productive. This morning, I decided to wake up early and go on a long walk through nature. Listening to the rivers and the birds was a great way to start the day! I’d highly recommend checking out the book if you’re looking for more ways to be mindful!

    I'd love to take a social media break but I'm finding it difficult. I'm so incredibly bored throughout the day and social media helps fill the time.
    I have some mental health issues that are rearing their heads at the moment and I need distraction, and a lot of the time that distraction is social media.
    But there are better distractions, that just are more difficult to starts. (I do genuinely think a social media break can help me get some peace of mind)
    Reading, drawing, podcasts, knitting, genealogy... the list is endless but I struggle to sit down and start doing them.
    Anyone relate? It's so annoying!

      try to have some relaxing lofi or piano music playing on youtube (i personally listen to lofi mixes of my fav anime and bts song and bts piano/music box covers, or soothing bts playlist w rain etc) so you won't have an urge to check your phone, and get some bg music at the same time !! then try to do some mindful calming stuff like doodling, writing, etc. hope it helps💜

      I can absolutely relate! Social Media is also a way for me to “escape” my negative feelings and thoughts (sometimes even dwell in them haha). I’ve also realised that it’s not healthy. I have been trying to read a book for 10 mins instead of going on Instagram or writing in my journal for 15 mins while listening to a podcast. It’s not much but these small steps are really helpful to be more mindful about going on social media. Maybe you could integrate something like that too! I know its super hard :( Good luck 🍀✨

      I can relate. I'm trying to make this habit more productive so I do similar things on the phone without checking social media: check job offers, check prizes of books I want to read (but they're too expensive so I am waiting for the right time). I also watch video and follow social media made in language I am learning or if I found them somehow educational (I am not English native speaker so watching Ruby is in a way productive time for me ;)). I don't beat myself up because I use phone a lot. Sometimes I read books on the phone, I also use a lot of study with me to focus. But my goal is to turn off the phone every night and it's difficult to me (because of that I worry I am addicted).

      Id put on a podcast or album or song you like and start drawing, knitting, painting while you listen. I know its hard i was a gifted child and now a chronic procrastinator, with anxiety and ibs. 🙃 hang in there! It can and will get better, things always have time to change and get easier. I know the feeling of being so done. I long for nothing more than a state of eternal peace and calm in which i can enjoy the world. Im working towards harmony which is at the moment showering for the 3rd time this week😄 i dont know if this is useful at all but i basically use yt comments as a journaling outlet🤣

    A time tracker I really like using is Superday. It's only on iOS though. I tried toggl before but I always just leave the timer going, then I'd uninstall it, because I found that having to type out what I did kinda tedious. Superday already has categories that you can choose from and it's so much more convenient that it made me actually keep it for more than a month now. Not to mention it has beautiful UI

    My sleep schedule was in RUINS back in April/May, I would go to bed at 6/7am and wake up at 4/5pm. I've got it back decently now, I go to bed at around 2am and wake up at around 10am!

    This was a very apt video to upload for me today, going for a major reset in life, just signed today for a new apartment so I am moving 1 month today and I am so excited. Will certainly be a big reset but for the best!

    This video really comes in handy for me right now, because even during most of lockdown I did relatively well, I've been in study block for the last 5-6 days. I hadn't been in this situation since January, but, if I got out of it then, I can do it again. I guess.

    One of the best time to tidy my room is after I'm done with one of my uni exams. It feels like I'm resetting my life together. I'm soooo excited when I'm doing that!!

    This is so motivational. Online learning is making most of the students at my university feel as though we aren't achieving anything with this learning context. I wonder if these tips are actionable while you have a limited time... Albeit, thank you, Ruby. Your videos always motivate me and put me in a motivated and focused mood.

    Hello Ruby!! Can I just say how inspirational you are. I'm an 11 year old and I remember coming out of a exam season feeling that I have enjoyed the journey and that's what matters.
