We recently bought the single oven model, pgb935yp2fs, and had the griddle swapped for a center grate at no charge. A problem we discovered was the timer alert tone is very low, and can't be heard if away from the range. Also the cadence of the tone has changed, to about 1sec on, 1sec off. This stove replaced a 10 yr old GE Profile range that had very good timer end tone. Several service calls, a Control board replacement, and the only resolution is "working as designed", so newer is not necessarily better.

My last stove was a Samsung gas range which was okay. I hated how the exhaust vented out in the kitchen instead of up towards the vent hood.
I now have an LG induction range and it’s superior in every possible way.

I have a Samsung gas stove that says it has True Convection via a heated fan. You stated that no gas stoves have true convection. Is Samsung not really True Convection as they advertise?

Title says comparing ranges, but then is just archaic tech. Should have said fossil fueled in the title.
Love the channel but clicked on a video unnecessarily.
