  • at law school, reading cases and case law are key parts to studying. but it can also be super dense and time consuming so it makes life so much easier if you can skim cases. skimming takes a while to grasp and you need to know what to look out for when you’re skimming and that’s what i cover in todays video! hope it’s helpful & i’ll see you on Saturday for a live stream (my first ever!!)

    The further reading is what terrifies me, the core reading is hard enough to coordinate

    What I have noticed after extensive reading is my contract and tort law is based on case law and statue. So basically, if you know all the case law in lectures and text book. Problem questions exam are easy

    hi, chelsie i cannot thank you enough for taking the time to help us,but i found this segment a little too fast and not specific.what would bw great ,although it would take a lot more time would be to make a more in depth video on how you nail down the facts of a case and craft them into the final product as a answer

    How do you find the rule in a case?

    • @ChelsieAngeles
      @ChelsieAngeles  2 года назад

      In English and Welsh case law, it will be towards the end of the case. You may need to infer the rule from the judgment, but it will be present if not clearly written.
