Well done. I have attempted to use Asana portfolios, Confluence pages, spreadsheets... but this looks like a great integrated solution.

A product like this could be very useful. But I have a concern about how this one is structured. I'm disappointed that it is built around the concept of a "project". So many companies have moved on from the "project" view of the world to a more product-based orientation (ie an ongoing effort with no pre-determined end point). Products are ongoing efforts and may have one or more teams contributing to it. Goals will shift and change over time. Also, progress updates required weekly? Other options should be available so as to coincide with sprint cadence for teams using sprints/iterations. Atlas appears to have some interesting capabilities, but the underlying information model needs a modern product-based structure.

As I understand, this is yet another tool that requires manual labor. Sitting next to all timesheets, jiras, trellos, confluence spaces, emails, IMs, excel files.

I wish Atlassian would focus on making core Jira better rather than all of these add-ons, and parallel products. Anything they create that is just a layer on top of Jira is just more manual work to be done, and another tool to convince leadership to have to buy. Please, just make Jira better, and charge more for it. //end-rant.

Disagree, at early stages of product development JIRA can be overkill, but atlas and many of their other products, like confluence, discover and for some audiences Trello are instrumental.

Why not engineer this via different Issue Types with higher hierarchy above Story like Initiative, etc?
