Well done video. Thank you. About two years ago I purchased the same two identical machines. I use them almost weekly and have had no problems and they perform excellent. I used my old welder cart from a Century 120 and modified the top and made it wider, so both Versa Cut 60 and MIG 175 sit side by side. I then took 3 - receptacle boxes attached to each other and wired in 2 welder receptacles in the end boxes and leaving the middle box for wire connections. Thus creating only one plug in for both machines. I probably would never use both at the same time but in case I did I used 3-6 wire for the plug in that plugs into a 80 amp service......just in case....once again a great video on this topic.

Bryan, thanks for the comments! I also have the TIG 200 AC/DC machine sitting on another cart in the back of my garage. It would be nice to have all three units on one cart, but in a tiny 2-car garage, it would not be easy to move things around.

I bought one, the versa cut 60, and so far it works great but as far as picking up consumables, industry standard would be considered Hypertherm, Lincoln or Miller at least in my part of the world. They are not available at tractor supply or airgas or harbor freight or anywhere else i have checked, 3 lws looked at me like i had 3 eyeballs when i ask for the trafimet cb70 consumables so just to let anybody know you will have to order them, at least in the central Al. area, but it is a pretty good machine for the price.

I agree with you brother you can't find these consumables nowhere but Eastwood I don't know why they don't use the same tip as everybody else the one that comes to the point instead the flat one that's on the versus 60 as far as I'm concerned I like the machine but the tip suck on it cuz you can't see how you're cutting

This plasma cutter as many are made overseas, sometimes in the same factory as other brands. Knobs, switches and other components can also be sourced from similar suppliers. The torch on this Eastwood plasma cutter is an Italian Trafimet torch, which many suppliers use as well.

I really need your help! I have a 200 amp service box and one 220 volt outlet in my garage. If I buy the 60 versa cut but I need to set the amperage down so it will run without tripping my box, is it possible with this machine?

+Eddie Regory The amperage is adjustable. The manual suggests a 50 amp 220 Volt input line for the plasma cutter. For what it's worth, I have a 200 amp service in my garage and have had no issues, although I don't crank the amperage on the unit and cut 7/8" thick steel all day with it either.

+SpeedShoppers.com Great. So it looks like I can use this. It just means I may need to set the amp down. The reason I want to go with the 60 is because I may need the power down the road if in the event I get a bigger shop and start fabricating thicker metal. Also, being that you work for Eastwood, I see nothing but great reviews on the 60 but for the 40 it's mixed. Any thoughts on this? If my machine should kick the bucket after on year does Eastwood replace it or not?

+Eddie Regory 40 had some issues in the past with the torch, they have been resolved. All welders & plasma cutters come with a 3 year warranty, yes it would be replaced.

What size romex wire would be needed with 30ft from breaker box with a 200 amp box with a 50 amp breaker?

What switch? Do you mean Circuit breaker? Are you using an extension cord? What amperage circuit breaker? Gauge wire in the circuit?

+Berto Ayala you should be able to reset like a circuit breaker, if not check with Eastwood's tech department they can help you troubleshoot or get a replacement out to you.
