What i do to relieve pain from sitting too long is eating vitamin B with redoxone, because i think we all get that uncomfortable feeling after sitting for too long is because we just have deficiancy in vitamin thatvare related to muscle and bones.

Dear Dr. Jo, The first exercise you recommend for your listeners who sit for most of the day is seated hip flexion, which strengthens the illiopsoas muscle. Can you kindly explain why you would encourage hip flexion strengthening? It would appear that, in fact, those who sit for long periods of time develop hip flexion tightness, and the remedy should be stretching of this muscle group, not strengthening. Strength and tightness are completely different things. When you strengthen something, it doesn't become tight, it becomes strong. Besides, this is to take pressure off the buttocks area while you are sitting as well.

hello. 2Stephen Foster: my dad had your symptoms. my issue is pain from food allergies: meat. sugars and cheese. plus i have herniated disks. if u dont have food allergies, then try whole food plant based diet for 6 months. i hang by my arms, or have someone step on my back when i am in pain. i take borox, fish oils, vitamins b12 & d3, magnesium, qocu10 and glucosamine irregularly. let me know in 6 months . thanks. Thanks. I have had a sedentary job for over a decade. I have been suffering with excruciating deep buttock pain and more so on the right for several years now. I have be tried numb hairs and cushions too. I was wondering if using one of those large exercise balls with a stand as a chair would benefit me?
