November 11, 2024 Part 2, Four Types of Sinners Jesus Receives, Lk 15

Vs 11-24, Those raised in a Christian home can be lost
Vs 12-14, They do not value the Christian heritage and waste it
Vs 15-16, They engage in the filth of this world
Vs 17-19, It seems they have to come to their own understanding of God before they will accept Him
Vs 20-21, The family must show compassion and receive them back when they make that effort to return - no resentment or bitterness
Vs 22-24, make them feel like nothing happen and a part of the family
Vs 25-32, Those who believe with the mind but not with the heart
Vs 25-30, those who are legalistic in their approach to a “works” centered salvation, overly judgmental
Vs 31-32, remind them of grace and love from Jesus, and the sacrifice of God made for all sinners
These are “Lord, Lord” people if they do not repent, Lk 13:25 & Mat 7:21
