Literally one of the best titles in racing history~ This was from 2004, and the graphics still look so clear and crisp, the experience is second to none, and it's a top tier racing title overall. I loved this game so much, and I wish I could play it again.
We need another game like takedown, just rebuild these same physics from the ground up and it'll be yet another masterpiece, I really missed dynamic racing games like this.
Daaaamn so nostalgic. All my childhood was with PS2 back in the days and I loved to play this game. I was 5-7 I believe when playing this. Now Im 22, so much time fly
Extremely nostalgic, I was 14 years old 2005, now I am 30 and I havent seen or played the game for atleast 15 fucking years, the music and crash mechanic was so awesome I loved it. I played this during the summer break from school in the evenings in cottage during the summer 05. Some days two of my cousins came over and we played splitscreen for hours, just blasting away and life was great, I miss those times so much.
I remember I was 6 years old in 2005. I came home from elementary school to find that my dad had bought me a slim PlayStation 2 with a Greatest Hits copy of Burnout 3: Takedown, which he was playing as I walked into the room. First game console. First video game. This game is still one of my favorite games of all time, racing or otherwise, and I still come back to it every few years in one form or another. The soundtrack shaped my music taste as well, and I keep a playlist on my phone to listen to when I go on long drives and don’t know what to listen to. It always takes me back.
@@SanchezS1998 Same! I was already a Funeral for a Friend fan at the time it released but Atreyu, From First to Last, MCR, Eighteen Visions, Motion City Soundtrack, Reggie and the Full Effect, Ordinary Boys, Amber Pacific, 1208, Finger Eleven, Rise Against, Fall Out Boy, Autopilot Off, Sugarcult, The Matches, Midtown, Silent Drive, Donots, New Found Glory, Yellowcard, Mudmen, No Motiv, The Explosion, The Von Bondies, Jimmy Eat World, Ash, Maxeen, Letter Kills, Pennywise, Chronic Future, The Mooney Suzuki, Sahara Hotnights. Went on to buy nearly all of the CDs the songs featured on. Best soundtrack ❤
Some mobile racing games looks more polished and higher in graphics is mindboggling,a phone is such a small form factor compared to the size of the ps2 box.
Dude you are comparing 22 years old tech to recent smartphone devices also isnt hard to made better looking game than ps2, i think mobile game still dont as good as early xbox 360 nor ps3 games.
Can someone please tell me about a game of cars were there was a mode of doing stunts like in a soccer field not like rocket League and other places It was on psp i used to play in in my childhood but i dont remember the name i idk if is burnout Never mind i just find is flatout

One of my all time favourite games considering buying a ps2 again just for this
I’m still playing this game to this day and it’s amazing and I wasn’t even born when it came out
No music on? Their soundtrack were one of its best thing.

Yeah, but stupid copyright :( Also Striker's voice was so memortable too, loved his commentary~
20 years old..that's mental. I'm jealous because this and Burnout 1 are still the only Burnout games I haven't played..
Memories ❤👌
This looking way better than the pcsx2 emulated version is missing so much effects.
My favorite Burnout game many hours spent playing on this!
A masterpiece!

Love you burnout ❤️❤️👍👍

This is my childhood i played on this game every day until i bought the ps4 my mom said id need to throw it away

Burnout 3 takedown destroy the rules
If you look closely at 3:30 you will see there's a NFSU2 billboard
And you can also see a tiger woods pga tour 2005 billboard at 2:31
Also the billboards are much much clearer in the Xbox 360 version which was the one I grew up with. For reference, their playing on the ps2 version
And you can also see burnout 3 takedown billboard in nfsu2
it was given to me for my birthday the double edition with both games together , a box set from ea, good old days
Can someone please tell me about a game of cars were there was a mode of doing stunts like in a soccer field not like rocket League and other places It was on psp i used to play in in my childhood but i dont remember the name i idk if is burnout
