- With the camera crew gone and clear skies for a few days, Matt, Kelly, and Andy push hard to get the rest of the cotton planted. However, even with no storm systems in sight, they find out a different kind of weather could bring them to a standstill...space weather.

Many years ago in the war with Irak, we were coming in from out at sea at night and hit the side of the channel. We were about 50 meters off. The story that was getting around was that the military had put the satellites off by a bit to put the enemy off with their coordinates. It put my Dad right off and he lost confidence captaining his boat at night after that. Technology is a handy thing but it can be a pain when it decides to play tricks. God bless

From what I've heard/watched, there's been reports of the Russian wheat crop being in frost danger. Whispers about Russia restricting wheat exports becuase of it. If you ever have a free minute in the morning, the daily youtube podcast "Grain Markets and Other Stuff" with Joe Vaclavik is very informational about daily news affecting US commodities.
Russian wheat goes to different markets than ours. We don’t send much wheat to the European Union.
@griggsfarmsllc2273 true, just saying that if they restrict exports due to a crop failure, our wheat starts to look a little more appetizing. Possibly why the funds were buying in recent weeks.
When you plant into your burn down strips with your planter are you only using the back 8 row section?
