Roy Harper was found "smack dab" in a drug dealer's home. Haha, "smack" (a.k.a. heroin). Also, how Ollie "smacks" Roy around.
This whole thing smacks of unintentional puns.
I don`t think the batgirl(Cassandra) one should be here. that should be in another list call something line "10 times complete A-hole writers ruin a character because they were lazy and did a 5-minute google search instead of spending some time learning the character they are going to write about for their job."
Hello there! This is very intriguing thank you! 👍🏻
Green arrow is always in denial about fucked up situations you're a hero bruh how are you constantly unable to fathom these things
2 spots going to Kyle Rayner era comics. Thank you Kirsten!
Too bad she kept calling him "Carl"
The entire Hal dating Arisia story line!!!
Cyclops: Jean!
Atom: Why did you say that name?!
That thumbnail’s meaning can only exist in my mind and many fan fictions.
the person who wrote that Superman story reminds me of the type of garbage stories that are written and drawn now in Marvel, i wonder if there is a connection?
The superman comic near the end can someone please tell me the actual name I'm really interested in it
I feel like you and I have very different definitions of what the word 'awkward' means...
Kudos for making an "awkward DC moments" video and not including the Supeman/Big Barda porno issue.
The whole retcon with Hal being 'infected' by Parallax, instead of getting P'Od at the Guardians is just ridic.
There was a story during the Silver Age where superman admits that he fancies Supergirl. His biggest problem with this isn't that Supergirl is his blood cousin or WAY younger than him, it's that Kryptonians disapprove of cousins marrying each other! WTF was going through the writers' heads here?
If anyone is wondering the panties got there because Lana was living in the Kent apartment for a time taking care of an injured Clark while Lois was covering a war in another country; they got in bedroom cause Clark was too injured to get off the couch so Lana slept in the bedroom
Ollie calls Speedy a junkie in a pejorative way. Yeah, comics of the times and all that but still, don't help stigmatize drug use and addiction by using "Speedy is a junkie" as one of your bullet points. He has addiction issues.
Words matter sometimes. A small deal to you, bit of a slap to those who have lived recovery.
Amen brother Amen
Hal encountered himself as Parallax. Parallax knew Hal would appear. This happened AFTER his sacrifice. So Parallax knew his fate. So Parallax, Hal and Kyle all had to work together to return each person to their respective times. To make sure they didn’t change their fate, Parallax and Hal had their memories modified so they wouldn’t remember these events.
Who are the two women at 2:34? Actually can’t find them
ok EVEN in the dc/Marvel they have the whole "class action lawsuit" against a superhuman entity trope?
I’m still heartbroken that DC characters haven’t yet had a live action universe that does them justice. Pun intended.
Wonder Woman was pretty good. Aqua man wasn't too bad. Sure Shazam, Justice League: DOJ, Suicide Squad, and Birds of Prey sucked. There is still hope though. Honestly wouldn't be too upset if they scrapped it all and started over. Be a good chance to fix all those awful casting choices.... and come up with better stories.
@@Roin0525 wonder woman was full of plotholes
Always liked the Sue Dibny storyline. And how it turns out the death was an accident caused by a woman in love and unable to separate the fantasy of what she wanted from what she was doing. The whole arc with Dr. Light was disturbing yet made sense as his being a villain why yes he would act that way .. and their reactions to that also seemed dark yet made you question what lines do you cross in order to do good....
I thought the entire storyline was horrific. Especially the completely unnecessary detail that Sue was pregnant when she was killed. That detail just shows what a shitshow the entire storyline was. **shudder**
You missed an issue where Batman became a junkie as well.
nah that was a great story, a weird one yes, but it didn't leave a bad taste in my mouth like most of these.
@@richelmartina1172 Not to mention it being an addiction to an earlier version of the same Venom-stuff Bane used when he was introduced later. (Assuming you are both talking about the 'Venom' story by Denny O'Neill).
where is that superman vs the huge kryptonian fight from? like which run?
Wow! These were incredible! I am definitely taking notes.
The Superman-panties comic "written by Chuck Austen". Why am I not surprised?
Dude Identity Crisis hit so hard I still haven't reread it.
Yeah, it's a terrible comic book and set DC superheroes down the mostly joyless, grotesque path they're on now.
are all the women at your company redheads??
Boss likes redheads
Chuck Austen was bad lol i rolled my eyes at Lois getting shot by a sniper and finding panties talk about over doing it with the drama chuck.
I can't say whether I liked this video or not because there were TOO MANY BLOODY ADS shoehorned into it, including ads going to MORE ADS!!!!! Stop the madness RUclips!
So fully two out of ten of these are Green Arrow being shocked at discovering Speedy's secret?
Jean lorring: I want ray back. Should I call him and tell him. Nope, better murder Sue Dibny and fake my own attempted murder
She said no one would be ready for these awkward moments, I introduce you to The Boys.
well you know how the saying goes. you either die a hero or you live long enough to see your self become the villain.
CHRIST..HIS NAME IS KYLE..NOT CARL..WTF..
Zatanna mindwiped Dr. Light (villain) and Batman. All related to #9 storyline.
Of course, Chuck Austen wrote that Superman story.
idk what it is but that intro music makes me feel better when i hear it
what about when Plastic Man pretended to be Barda's dress.
Can i know the comic for green lantern please?
I'm surprised they didn't mention when Superman tells a teenage Supergirl he wants a woman just like her and then proceeds to give a speech about how it's not lawful for cousins to marry. Very awkward
Wow! Great video
Can I posses Powergirl?
time paradox time brought to you by the department of redundancy department! past hal in the present may have found out his future would be to host parallax, but past parallax in the present wiped past hal's present memories before sending him back into the past. so does he know? yeah sure, for days within confines of a closed timeloop.
The most awkward moment among all these moments, from my point of view is, the Batman moment, when he decides to quit his Bruce Wayne persona & actress weird in front of the Bat-family.
5:44
Oh shit its Cassandra Cain
I thought I imagined she existed or somthing
aaaaaaaaaand... I'm sad now
7:18
OH, I remember that
and now I'm even sadder
So were just not going to talk about the time Superman and Big Barda (Mr. Miracle's wife) made a porno?
1:19 they are holding the glowing lasso both of them are telling the truth.
That's not the version of the conversation between Wonder Woman and Power Girl I remember
I’m new to this channel but I wish she would list issue numbers
Superman and Lois dies btw. They're the new 52 versions and they both dies, and they were replaced by the post-crisis Superman
