The fact that you allowed your viewers to see you making mistakes on the trimming of the mirror, validating that we all make mistakes, was greatly appreciated. Very few RUclipsrs willingly allow us to see them messing up a project. So thank you for showing something that I would definitely have done if it had been me trimming a mirror.😏 It turned out beautifully. And the fact that it didn't cost you $500.00....bonus!!!! That gold will match the handles and light fixtures. Have a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, Stefani. 🎄
It is so nice to see someone else breaking mirrors along the way too! The struggle is real! A mistake that I often make with mirrors is forgetting to paint the underside of trim, because the mirror reflects the original colour on the underside.
Now I understand why I haven't tried this project. It's bc I was waiting for you to show me how it's done. I have to say a def step above the all the diys I've seen, some even from pro DIYers. Thank you
Young lady very impressed!! Even when it gave you a bit of A challenge you pursued An accomplished. It came out beautiful thank you for the wonderful tips be blessed
No offense to the many creators that have also done this but their end results usually look pretty cheap and homemade. (Of course that doesn't matter and if you love something, that's the most important thing.) THIS mirror, on the other hand, looks incredible. Bravo, as always! You can definitely see the difference when a pro attempts the DIY. ;)
I think this is the best and most informative Diy I have watched thus far. I have been looking for two matching mirrors to sit on top of my vintage dressers in my Master. This I can do, and at a fraction of the cost. Thanks so much for doing this one!
You are incredible! Can’t believe you can diy that! It is so beautiful! And yes, thanks for showing where you made the mistake on cutting glass. I learned so many practical skills from your video. Thanks!
Do you lie awake at night thinking about your next project? This one was well executed, even the mistake with the mirror. Thanks for sharing your skills with us. Merry Christmas and a very Blessed 2022!
I had so much fun turning this $22 mirror from Home Depot into an expensive looking designer mirror! Get your first purchase from Blueland for 20% off by clicking my link bit.ly/3DCU7zN Now shipping to the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Australia & New Zealand!
It makes no sense that I was literally shocked and gasping out loud each time the glass broke! 🤣 Of course, you have the same experiences as every one else might, and thank you for showing us how you worked through getting a technique that works. That's just as helpful as everything else you do. It looks beautiful! 😍
Well the idea was good. The gold flat paint just kind of ruined it. Maybe add some darker gold or gold leaf using a brush and then add gloss - but Stephanie you are very talented and creative!! I enjoy your videos so I feel that you can improve on this mirror alittle bit. Thanks for your channel.
Agreed, I was waiting for the end reveal to be so stunning and the flat gold spray paint was just not it. Really could use some Rub n Buff or gold leaf or something and then it would be👌🏼✨
Hey Stefani, your mirror looks great! 👍 Here’s a tip if you do future glass cutting; you can use a diamond bit on a Dremel tool to grind down the glass to a smooth surface. Cheers from a fellow DIYer and Floridian 🍻
Hi Stefani! Just wondering can you please make a video about a guide for essential tools for beginners? Or maybe your favorite tools? I.e. nail gun/ miter saw etc. I've watched tons of your videos but really I have no experience in wood working and zero knowledge with tools. Please help ☺️
Good job!!! Except tapping the cut mirror edge over the carpet is a ' No, No! ' Small pieces of broken glass chips could be embedded into the carpet fibers as you tap, and then you'd walk on the carpet with barefoot being at home, you could get cut and it is difficult to get the glass splinter out of your carpet pile, or out of your bleeding, wounded foot!

I prefer building furniture to crafting, but this is my favorite project video in a long time!

Wow. You didn’t have to show us your mistakes. Very brave of you. I vaguely recall Blue Land before. Thank you. Will watch again.
It turned out so beautiful, its like you never made any mistakes. I appreciate that you showed us the mishaps too....thank you for sharing.

Nicely done. I do like that you showed your mistake (I would have cracked the entire mirror!), and how you solved the issue, too. Again, nicely done.
Great videos. I held my breathe on the second mirror! LOL It looks great!
It really came out beautiful in the end.
Bravo Stef you didn't give up and you made a beautiful mirror.
Fantastic video, most informative one I've seen on how to cut the mirror. Thanks.
I doubt there's nothing you cannot do, re-create, or hack! Absolutely LOVE your content! Stay Golden! 🥰
Thanks for keeping the imperfections
I would have to agree with many of the commentators. Your attempt at this mirror turned out fantastic.

The best tutorial of this kind I’ve seen. 👏👏👏
Absolutely brilliant as always the classier take on this recreation well done 👏
Wow I’ve seen a lot of DIYs of this mirror but yours is by far the best I’ve seen. You’re so good Stephanie!
Do you lie awake at night thinking about your next project? This one was well executed, even the mistake with the mirror. Thanks for sharing your skills with us. Merry Christmas and a very Blessed 2022!
WOW!!! This is gorgeous!!!
Nice job. Thanks for the glass-cutting tip. I must remember to tap the underside. Your cuts were so good that way.
Nice to see a tutorial where you start with blank mirror and make the frame from scratch. Hoping to upcycle a mirror I already have
Yeah, this is something I might attempt in the new year; Don't need any bad luck before we switch out the calendars. Excellent work!
You created such a beautiful mirror!!
The finish product was GORGEOUS ❤
Looks fantastic
Nice job Stefani!
Wow, this came out sooooo good 😊 probably the best one I’ve seen so far. I’m saving this to my playlist so I can make one when I move.
I am not brave enough to attempt this project for sure but you are incredibly talented. I love the mirror!

You always do such lovely design work.
Stefani, your mirror is stunning! I love it. Thanks for sharing such an awesome project. Merry Christmas.
Hi Vicky, how are you doing?
Fantastic ideea, thank you so much cheers from italy:))
I bought my vintage mirror just like this from my local flea market, vintage store for $3.50. I'm very tempted to make this for a fun project.
wooooooow! This looks insanely good!
A MILLION THANKS I'M SCREAMING !!!
IVE BEEN WANTING THOSE EXPENSIVE ASS MIRROR....SCREAMING THANK YOUUUIUUUU!!!
This turned out great! I feel like this tutorial using rub n buff instead of spray paint would give the gold frame more dimension.
I switched to rub n buff for anything that needs gold, silver or brass paint. There’s just no comparison to spray paint!
This is awesome!!! You can do it all, very inspiring.
Tip: back side of glass cutter (teeth) are designed to do what you were doing with pliers :)
Looks fabulous!
Beautiful
You did so good!!
Another awesome video!! Thank you!!
OMG, fabulous!!!
Great tutorial!! Thanks for showing your mistake and how to avoid it
Great idea. I like this video
Great job! It’s definitely really hard to cut mirror or glass!!! Such a delicate thing!! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

I saw that too. I thought what an idiot! How freak'n stupid!
Best I've seen
Bello te quedo . Una pregunta donde compraste el marco flexible que le pusiste alrededor del espejo . Gracias de antemano.
I think this is the first ad I've actually thought "hmm, that product sounds decent".
Beautiful❤
Way to go Stef
Love it
Awesome!
I like this, love you
Just got my appliqués but wasn’t sure about the corner ones. Do you remember the measurement of the ones you used for the corners? Thank you!
Amazing! 🌹❤😁💯👍🏻
Instead a file use a sharpening stone, a lot more effective. Nice job.
THANK FOR VIDEO !!
Lovely❤
Pretty sure you’re supposed to sand glass with wet sandpaper to prevent super tiny glass splinters.
Eres una mujer que creas luz. Gracias
I was side eying the gemstones before you spray painted them😂😅
Ficou muito lindo 🎉🇧🇷🎉🌸
Wow😮
Maravilhoso ❤❤
May I ask how to hang this mirror on the wall?
I don’t see the supply list anywhere ;( I’m having the hardest time finding the right wood trim. Everything is so basic.
