- This is a remix of Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald's Route 113 soundtrack AKA the falling ashes route. Earlier this year through the aftermath of a data breach, someone attempted to hack the PokeRemixStudio channel which, while is a project which I felt I had moved on from, was also my pride and joy during my high school years. It would've been a shame to undo all the hard work I put into these remixes, which now number at 100.
While securing the account I logged in for the first time in several years and upon reading the comments I became very sentimental. Tons of comments cherishing the beauty of the games' songs, reliving childhood memories, and wondering if I'd ever return. While I never aspired to remix every Pokemon song, it was a reminder that there are still soundtracks that I once intended to approach, or tried to remix and failed. So, here's my latest remix, one of the "failed" remixes that I then tried a 2nd and finally succeeded a 3rd time. I hope it brightens your year if the future is looking bleak. Enjoy :)

I've been subbed to you a while, love your remixes as well! Honestly it's probably thanks to PRS's first Primal Dialga remix that I got super into listening to game remixes 15 years ago. (Man I feel like an anime character being like "dramatic event! - 15 years ago")

I'm very happy you posted something again, PokeRemixStudio. You were one of my favorite channels during high school.
I'm about to graduate college after my current semester, and this helps bring my later school years full circle. I hope you resolved the attempted hack on your channel and, even if you never post any more remixes, I'm content and happy with the latest remix, which I'm listening to right now.
It feels like I'm listening to a credits theme for your channel. I used to listen to your videos a lot back in 2009-14, and hearing your songs again feels extremely nostalgic.

Thank you for being with me from the very beginning. I started this channel when I was 14 and now I'm 27 as well. Early on the hobby of remixing was wildly compelling and longtime fans such as yourself helped motivate me to make so many remixes during high school. "Examus93" definitely rings a bell, comments didn't have avatars back then, you couldn't change names either, so one would ID people by their usernames alone. Great to see you again.

Holy shit I remember finding your remixes when I was starting middle school in 2009 and always listening to them while playing. Now I've been working fulltime as a software engineer having graduated college, gotten married, sorry if I made you feel older than I feel right now LOL. Hope you're doing well Mr. PokeRemixStudio! I never thought the day would come
I was absolutely floored to learn that PokeRemixStudio is PilotRedSun---its kinda funny only now seeing the names have the same acronym. I listened to this channel's music on repeat in middle and high school, and absolutely fell in love with PilotRedSun's music and animations a year or two ago. Its kinda crazy how two projects by the same person, entirely different and separate, both became so important to me during different times in my life. And now I'm appreciating them both at once, coming back to this channel and seeing the remixes not only hold up but I can appreciate them more than ever before. Its such a surreal feeling, which is honestly incredibly apt for PilotRedSun. Godspeed, PRS.

You taught one curious middle schooler, a long time ago, that music can be something you need to simply stop and appreciate, instead of some boring background noise during car rides. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw this. You rock man. Whatever you're doing, I hope you absolutely crush it, like you did with this project that not only introduced me to electronic music, but music in general.

I saw an upload from this channel and I thought I was going crazy for a hot second. Even if you never return after posting this remix I just wanted to let you know that I listened to your remixes a lot in middle school. I still have your Primal Diagla remix on my phone and I really think that's one of the best remixes on this site hands down.

It's like an old friend reaching out after all this time lol Edit: So after reading your description, releasing a "failed" (although I think none of us can ever say you'd fail a remix ever) remix, mind if I ask what are the other scores you were intending to remix? idk why but lately I've craved a good r/s/e route 110 remix, although I've seen god-tier covers of it (Dr. Pez - VGM)
I should clarify the first two attempts at remixing Route 113 were the fails and I got discouraged... in 2013 I tried a rock remix and it's difficult to accomplish guitar strumming using synths and virtual guitar amps. 2nd attempt was vaporwave style. I opted for no gimmicks the 3rd time and just tried to make it pretty. N's Theme shot me down the most times of all, 6 tries and I still couldn't reason with the inane melodies and harmonies of the score. Yet it's a tantalizing challenge every time. 7th time's the charm maybe :)
PokeRemixStudio If your talking about his final battle theme, I would suggest looking at the official remix made by gamefreak on the soundtrack for inspiration. I definitely know that it’s my favorite remix since they do justice to the original feeling and instrumental feel. But who knows, maybe you’ll figure out the secret to an even better mix. If your talking about his encounter theme though, I can’t really help you there.😄
