I believe, since even Liam Vickers himself adresses the AS as Cyn, they're pretty much merged into one being now. Cyn's OG personality is probably the reason why the AS wants to keep N, V and J around as it's fighting force. Cyn probably felt some kind of closeness to them since they were thrown away before and close to Tessa, just like she was. I also think she really DID care about N *before* the solver fully took over and twisted those thoughts into something, uh, creepy. I don't think the current Cyn(AS) could care less about N's physical well being, but more so the *idea* of N. The "loveable big brother figure who loves doing anything". That's why she keeps saying stuff like "I have backups", it really doesn't matter which N is with her as long as the personality remains the same. So basicly, the AS emerged inside of Cyn and the mutated program eventually merged with the host, having some of her quirks and thoughts but in a more fcked up way.
I believe that there are actually three beings which are the Absolute Solver AI, the original Cyn and the thing that’s a deeply messed up combination of both
@@aj_art7201 Right. Also to be honest Liam could've just said it for convenience because after a time saying absolute solver over and over would annoy me
So basically, it started as two separate last time when Tom the two merge together, resulting in the CYN we know today I could also call her the absolute solver as since they are merged the two terms basically mean the same person which is why whenever she speaks the subtitles on episode eight to her as solver even though it is CYN speaking
She does care for N he just has a lot of back ups and her plan is more important than that back up is to her but she even says stuff meaning he will be cloned in death and she can once again screw up his head and have him do her bidding
@@cythism8106 I have a feeling that the reason behind that is that Cyn is a common name amongst other Worker Drone P/N. Also, Cyn means "Before" in the language welsh, idk what that means for sure but it could possibly be referring that there was something before Cyn that caused all of this, and no not as in the creator of the Absolute Solver, but someone or something that cause the Absolute Solver to be evil.
From what we can tell, the Solver IS the one in control of the body that is Cynessa (Cyn and Tessas body), due to the subtitles in the episode having [Solver] in front of them for a decent chunk of when the body is being spoken through. That could mean Cyn is attempting to fight back somehow, like when she prevented N from having his Solver activate when he died in the first episode, or it being made more clear that Cyn has been deleted by the Solver. Either way, Cyn and the Solver do appear to have different goals, for what that's worth
@@DarkXSolver17 I'm fairly certain that the subtitle thing is just for easy distinguishment. As for your second theory; Cyn and the Solver share the same name, this is of course because the Solver itself pilots the Cyn drone. The theory is that Cyn prevents Solver activation either to prevent new hosts becoming a potential threat for her, or just simply because she's so fond of the main 3 that she spares them and allows them to keep their personalities. I believe this has been the leading theory for a while now, and it makes a lot more sense with the context of episode 5 (specifically Cyn's relationship with N).
WAIT THEORY TIME. Hear me out. He said there is probably a backup of cyn right? Later in episodes we see a name of another drone, SD-C. C = CYN maybe? It would be cool to see a fully working cyn, probably wrong though
I think N, V and J have white eyes while the rest of the Elliots drones have blue eyes because the blue-eyed drones were bought/acquired normally, whereas the trio and Cyn were found and repaired by Tessa. Those drones also are lacking hair/wigs and arm bands which N, V, J and Cyn all have. Edit: I also had a probably stupid thought about Tessa. We see that the absolute solver can turn metal and machinery into flesh at least somewhat, so... what if she did the reverse to Tessa, but left her "outer shell"/skin in tact?
Tessa was dead before ep 6 (if u watch episode 4 reallly carefully u will realised u saw Tessa cyn 2 times which meant Tessa died before episode 4 so I don’t think she can “shed skin” but good theory
CYN did seem very sentimental about Tessa. We can even see she brought random stuff from her room with her at the end of Episode 3. I could easily see her attempting to assimilate or make a “backup” of her like she did with N and friends.
With the way Tessa's skin moves and how the eyes perfectly go through the sockets, this may be plausible. Because how else will the skin still have blood and the eyelids move on their own.
Cyn is still out there though - in episode 1, when N is shot by Uzi, Cyn blocks the solver's administrative rights so that the solver doesn't take over him. This could mean one of two things: 1. Cyn is actively working against the solver, using her admin rights to protect disassembly drones from possesion and slowing down the spread 2. Cyn is doing this to help the solver. That sounds weird, I know, but if you look closely at the paper Nori shows N in episode 7, it talks about how the Solver doesn't want anymore hosts. The patch is a massive threat, because hosts could retain their powers and connection to the hive mind without the Solver knowing. That's how Nori still has her abilities even though the solver was unaware of her. The solver doesn't want any rivalry and so it send the disassembly drones to kill all possible hosts. Another thing is that the solver didn't infect Nori purposely. The humans gave her the solver, and although it says thanks for the new host, I think that's just because it thought the patch was already gone and so other hosts are no longer a threat. but idk prove me wrong if you want!
the admin setting in question was probably set up to conserve time as the solver would take over, use the parts to repair, then immediately release control.
Cyn was in episode 5 a little cutie! Tessa's parents treated her like trash just because she had some little flaws. Her relationship is also adorable, how she's sees him as the big bro. But sadly, it seems like the real Cyn is gone...❤
@@johanstenfelt1206 honestly a spin-off origin For Cyn would make me feel a lot Sadder for her I can only imagine how horrible Tessa parents treated her and throwing her like garbage
One of my current theories is that cyn was never a person. In the glitch x ask me anything, Liam Vickers explained the worker drones were not meant to be fully sentient. Instead, they occasionally gain sentience due to their ability to learn mixed with the unique circumstances they are in. He specifically mentions how the zombie drones from Elliot manor became sentient because Tessa interacted socially with them. Because Cyn developed solver infection before Tessa found her, it’s possible she never had a true personality. It is also worth mentioning how N, V and J are named after their serial designations while Cyn is named after her model number. This could be a hint from the writers that Cyn was never a unique individual since a drone’s serial designation is a code unique to that drone while the model number is shared by several drones. This would be like naming a character “Corpse” or “body”. Unlike N, V and J, Cyn is named after what she is, not who she is, suggesting she might just be an empty shell. Her arm band can be seen in episodes 5 and 7 with the serial designation missing. I can not say for sure if this theory is correct. Liam does describe regular worker drones as having “nerfed sentience” during the glitch x ask me anything, so depending on how advanced “nerfed sentience” is, she might have had a personality. Also, solver does talk to her when she reboots in the dump, suggesting there might be a person for solver to talk to. Over all, this is just one possible explanation I have come up with. I think it would be more interesting if Cyn was sentient though. But hey, that’s just a theory. A FILM THEORY! Thanks for reading.
Something that supports this theory is that the murder drones are based on vampires and the original concept of vampires is that you had to LET THEM IN TO YOUR HOME, they couldn't enter your home without your permission. In old vampire films like Nosferatu (1922) the vampire tricked the humans into inviting it into their homes so it could eventually attack them. The fact that the solver needed Cyn's permission when she booted up just supports this much much more.
I feel like maybe that would be too much of a cliche ending if cyn regained control of herself and stopped herself from doing the things that she’s doing. I think that either her core would have to be destroyed by the team, or they somehow find another code to block out the AS, or if she DID regain consciousness I think that she would have to destroy herself/ die because she was originally supposed to die as she was disregarded in the pile of robots. The AS promised I guess it would keep her alive? So if she got rid of it then she would probably die
When Uzi decapitated N with the railgun in Episode 1, the phrase 'AbsoluteSolverString blocked by Administrator Cyn' appeared on N's vizor. I think Cyn had enough influence to prevent her favorite drone from being taken over by the Solver, even if she couldn't do much else. Imagine if all the theories are true and the solver has to fight NUzi, crab V, Nori, Cyn resisting it, and Doll's core fighting inside Cyn's body all at once.
I think it was because the Absolute Solver didn’t want N to have that power for whatever reason. Since when J was killed the solver regenerated her but for some reason maybe his personality the AS wouldn’t want him to regenerate or access the solvers powers.
@@Pixels... I heard somewhere that Cyn reprogrammed the other drones to make the Disassembly Drones. N's memory was fragmented, but for some reason Cyn never wiped V's memories. The Absolute Solver as Cyn made a conscious choice to manipulate the memories of others.
It would be so funny and super sad if in ep08 they somehow patch cyn and the solver goes away and she's just left there being a scared girl, confused and shocked by what she was forced to do.
I feel like the solver still keeps Cyns personality and having her spectate the solvers actions, however the only difference is the voice being modified and the solver adding aggression to the OS personality, when reality Cyn is soft, kind and has your back you kind of person.
My favorite lines Cyn said: 1. lick 2. c a l l b a c k p i n g 3. let me in let me in let me in 4. angry 5. squirmy worm 6. eager beaver 7. better to asimulate than explain anyway
Thanks to the problem with her voice box. It was corrupted when the solver found her host and eventually found a voice that can conquer her broken voice box but it’s still glitches out.
Honestly, i think cyn's gone. She's pretty much dead. Of course, her body may have never "died" since she wasn't disposed correctly, but seeing how the trashing process works, i think she got most (if not all) of her software erased and some of her hardware corrupted, and through that the Solver found a way to take control. It's like formating a PC. I think that she's now nothing more than a body for the solver.
This exactly, I feel like Cyn made a deal with the Absolute Solver to stay alive not knowing what she was in for, only to have her software all but erased/suppressed by the AS who commandeered her body to further its own goals.
Could again just be the lighting but when Cyn boots up, her colouring is completely yellow, where in the Manor, it is a pale yellow. Could suggest she is partially in control, where upon booting up, the absolute solver was entirely in control (needing just her permission to fuse with her character). Also, this was actually a question I've had for a while. I kind of want to see, by the end of it all, Cyn herself completely freed of the absolute solver, and her worker drone OS back in control. Or perhaps she makes a last ditch effort, once the absolute solver is debilitated (following Uzi's intervention), to break free, turning herself into a murder drone or something. I would love to see her as a murder drone her OS still quirky and sometimes slow, like she glitches out or daydreams, and I feel like she'd be far more physically expressive (happy stims, waving hands, swaying etc.) than verbally, to show her as a complete opposition to the absolute solvers only verbal communication.
That’s honestly what I’ve been believing for a long time. I really do think Cyn was a sweetheart but the Solver corrupted her by possessing her. Poor girl
One thing I'd like to note- the Disassambly Drones have pale/light yellow eyes, whereas Cyn and any possessed drones (Uzi and Nori) have deep yellow eyes. Idk if its really important, but its something I noticed
Cyn definitely had small moments of control or power. The Absolute Solver doesn’t care about anyone, EXCEPT N. We got to see that once Cyn, most likely now at least assisted by the AS, actually saw N, glitches happened around him and behind him, but N didn’t. I personally believe any control Cyn had was spent protecting N in any way possible
I decide rewatch few drone episodes and something that stick out to was fact Uzi absolute solver was set to false implying it was deactivated before as it should been set true originally. This implies someone deactivated it before Uzi was set inside worker drone body (due fact when see Uzi as baby the absolute solver was implied to already be active), but none worker drone would know how or why to do thus it has be human implying some human live a lot longer than other. This most likely ones like Intern who had suit on during core collapse as they would prevent them dying as quickly.
One little detail that I missed was when the lightning flashes in the flashback there is a frame where you could only see cyn's eyes and mouth, but black and she had the sharp teeth. Not new information or of any importance, just a detail I didn't see before
I have another theory. It mentions on the wall that Uzi goes to after the cave in from her solver, a Big Crunch. For those who don’t know, a Big Crunch is a universe ending event that is extremely rare. It reverses the expansion of the universe to cave in on itself. Now what does that mean? On the wall it said 87 days, weeks or years(idk) until this Big Crunch event. Another thing about the Big Crunch is it uses a huge amount of gravity to pull the universes expansion back in on itself. The supportive part I want to mention about this is that Cyn thanks N for quote: “Clearing the way on this planet.” Also in episode 6 while Tessa explains the aftermath of earth and the solver itself, the computer shows that Cyn has also destroyed the planets in other systems. Now again, if we look at earth from the live feed, Earth has been destroyed by the singularity which acts as a black hole from Uzi’s usage on the elevator in episode 6. Another support is that in episode 7 Uzi reversed the effect of the Null command causing a blast that made the area cave in. If Cyn is destroying all the planets in this manor, then it is likely that she is trying to destroy the universe by making it cave in. Idk if I’m right but I thought I ought to mention my thoughts. Have a great rest of your day!
my friend I think you hit the nail on the head, and to elaborate on what you said, the big crunch would possibly form a new universe which might explain why the AS (a power-hungry program) would want to end the universe.
4:00 We can see the drone is labeled as "Cyn" on the dumpster, plus, on episode 2 we see a flashback of V with white eyes, so that's 100% Cyn when she was taken by the absolute solver x)
I love thinking about the possibility that the slight amount of control cyn has over her own body might lead to a moment where cyn regains consciousness mid control of the absolute solver, possibly in a fight, saving whoever was fighting her in the first place
The Absolute Solver said it was trying to fix J after she exploded. So it's possible that it can mimic the host to a degree. It mixed how J liked to mess with others in a sadistic way and even talked to herself a bit. Cyn has never been shown to act like that, so it was unique to J Solver.
What im guessing is that Solver is the reboot of Cyn as everything about her is rebooted except for the actual original AI and that the Solver is just simply Cyn herself and thats why she can still bother with “ish” emotions towards N but still has her own goals (e.g revenge on the humans for attempting to dispose of her)
I actually think that the silver isn’t just itself but a combination of it and Cyn. Two half’s making that never should have been brought together to make whole.
I think that during episode 8 or beyond, Cyn gets stabbed with the patch (rebuilt or a copy) and comes back as an ally to the protagonist like represented with the protagonists journey on Uzi's slideshow presentation on episode 1. Once in control of her body again Cyn would be able to inform the others of the solvers plans or just be as confused as they are about them. I could see a million ways this could play out but it might be possible that the real Cyn would be unconscious and would have no clue what the absolute solvers plans are.
I always knew like at first before this she was like the normal adorable drone with a normal voice instead of a glitched on, as well as white eyes due to her being N's sister and him having white eyes, and also that she somehow contracted solver via theses ways: a(it brought her back from death, B(she contracted it like a disease from a glitch or being attacked by another drone with it give or take but c( she had it she was alive and started to lose her self and her sanity before finally it had her as its queen on a chess board
my personal thoughts on the Solver was that it's basically the self repair system of WDs and MDs. and likely other human made bots like the reclamation roaches that we've seen feasting on WD bodies. the Solver is why we've seen drones get injured in minor ways and still manage to get up and function, it's easy to imagine their oil is ladened with nanites, especially with how we've seen it sparkle like it's full of metallic glitter. the MDs having a more advanced variant of the solver that, even in total core failure, will try to repair itself. and the infected drones aka Uzi and Doll having a more advanced variant like the MDs, but nowhere near as controlled, as we've seen Uzi recover from absolutely devastating attacks and Doll recover from what V did in the Prom fight, the reason Zombie drones are so dangerous is because it was Software death that killed them, meaning the hardware that controls the self repair protocol of the Solver is still intact. the Solver, being a problem solving and repair system, requires mass, and so it's matter collection system is vital to it's repair abilities. however, based on how we've seen characters with the Advanced variant of the Solver duplicate physical objects out of seemingly nowhere, I think it's safe to say that the Solver has the ability of matter transmission, aka: one of the systems in these drones allows a signal from what I assume is Earth being consumed, aka the rest of the Solver collection points, and use that stored material for duplication and repair. the reason this didn't work in J is because that system, located in the Core of the Drone, was damaged beyond simple repair in J. bugging out the system, and accidentally starting a matter collection and mixed/bugged programming section. in summary, I'm totally adding what you said in this video to my own Theory. the Solver is the self repair system of a Drone and other human made machinery. nanite or otherwise micro machine repair to simulate how organic tissue repairs itself by replacing damaged cells every day through the stresses of life. and the Absolute Solver is the glitched, bugged out, energy to matter capable variant of it that is bugged out severely and able to do so much more than simply repair and understand new systems.
What I've always found interesting is how the other drones from the Manor--and who thus are connected to the Absolute Solver and the Disassembly Drones--all use single letter designation--N, V, and J--with the exception of Cyn. Even in N's memories the drones are all referred by their single letters.
I prefer Cyn as being a more, amnesiac character, that she's been under the constant possession of the solver for so long the world would seem alien to her when she "Wakes up"
I like it that the solver sounds like those average google+Alexa voice, implying that the creation of the solver is much older than the creation of the drones, implying that JC Jenson knew the threat of the solver but couldn't do anything to stop it, but could only prevent it from taking over by spreading VHS tapes of it until they could find the technology to stop it, which they did... perhaps, a bit too late. That is......if the USB was the backup, and perhaps "S" is another eldritch ai programmed to neutralise the solver. Perhaps, S is the USB
I think this is what happened.. Cyn was disposed incorrectly and once she realized the drones were getting discarded she said "We can no longer be, thrown out" Just like Uzi's screen healed with the solver in Ep. 7. that might've been how Cyn healed her screen. Her neck also seems to be loose and broken, as she keeps pushing it back up. What do you guys think? The tag on the drone that was thrown out also said "cyn"
Please I’m so glad ppl are drawing more attention to this, I always thought that cyn herself was prob nice before she got fully controlled by the solver
see, i have a personal theory that from the moment the drone rebooted to life, it was no longer truly Cyn. it was only the Absolute solver using Cyn's name and scraps of her identity to work. Cyn never truly came back like N, V, or J.
I'm re-comenting because I can't tell if I had accidentally deleted my previous one. I hope we get to see cyn fight the absolute solver. Kind of like a mind battle. Obviously with the help of nori and uzi. Who knows mabey we will get to see her like we see nori now. 😊
I am SO GLAD that I found this video. My friends and I have been dying on this hill since getting them into this fandom. It was such a shame we were wrong on our hopes of Cyn coming back as she once was
The absolute solver is kind of Chara in Undertale. For example, frisk has a yes or no question on losing her soul and giving it to Chara for her to be whole and have a body again. Maybe I’m stupid or sum but this kind of adds up to me in my little noggin of a skull lol
The Difference is that Chara is supposed to be a enity paritally or completelt unffected by resets unlike the rest, and act as "consequences that can't be undone with a reset"
I love this so much for so many reasons and i was thinking about this too but when i tried explaining it no one understood and you put it in a perspective i never could have thought of Cyn is my favorite character and i love seeing more of ger but i couldn't help but feel like she's been the victim the whole time
I see the AS as like a rabies virus. As time went on, the infection Cyn had got worse and the AS took more control, turning her completely hostile. But I do think Cyn had an influence on the AS as she had intended to spare Tessa, and when turning N, J, and V in Disassembly Drones, she had them keep their personalities. Shame we didn't get to see any other DDs so as to compare then to the main trio.
I think the solver is a sort of debug mode where yellow in Cyn's eyes is the indicator of that, hence Cyn having limited motor control and narrating her actions that are pre-defined (I also pretty sure that what she narrates is what the actions are actually called in the operating system). The Ai-cores all house a singularity that provides the entirety of the conscience of the drones, and when the hardware can't interface correctly with the core then the solver activates because it is the one condion that allowed it to bypass the os. The solver was then controled by a core that was disposed at the center of copper-9 and then melted which left just the singularity, after which it found a way to interface with the drones under certain conditions which then allowed it to control the drones through the solver. I believe it's original purpose was more of a diagnostic program ment to figure out and 'solve' any problem that the drone might have. It was disabled from activating later in the future, but once the core comes loose briefly the other core is able to interact with the is from the other side and Manually turn on the solver which is what we saw happen to Uzi all the way back in the piolet episode where Uzi's eyes briefly turned yellow and absolute solver was turned on. The absolute solver in its self is not evil and doesn't even have sentience. Which is why the solver can't immediately control Uzi because the solver its self doesn't control Uzi. The method that the evil core found to control the drones is the function called "callback ping" where it is a diagnostic tool to test wireless communication which sends a data packet to the drone and what's for the drone to respond saying it received it. But the data packet only needs the header changed to be recognized as a callback ping and the rest of the data can be a self executinh payload that runs on the drone, alternating the OS and allowing the evil core to take over. Cyn's core was not disconnected at all allowing her to reboot and the callback ping is what we witnessed on her screen because absolute solver was not disabled from activating at the time, which allowed Cyn's OS to be altered immediately but Cyn's physical condition caused the solver to activate safe mode where as uzi was in Test-run mode which enabled all features to make sure that they work together correctly. The solver also acts as a window to transfer singularities from core to core which allows it to directly interact with the world. The symbols of absolute solver represent different tests which the main one we see is the AI test. Cyn's AI was indeed not in control but rather than the solver, it is the evil core. Not much is known about the evil core but it must have turned on both humans for trapping it and drones for trying to set the singularity free. The flesh is what the singularity knows better and can interact with it better therefore the flesh seen on the outside of the cores with solver on. Please note that this is my take but we can only get confirmation from Liam. (Also the singularity we see under a bunch of stuff is the evil one in ep8. Cyn's body is just the host the evil core uses to carry out it's plans. The not discarding part is true though in the way the core twists the promise.
personally, I think there's something belong the Absolute Solver maybe something like a collective unconsciousness, I.e all worker drones that use the Aboslute Solver as a base may be connected to some wireless network where every drone is giving something of 0.01% of their processing power to it. after so long it developed into something conscious, however, no matter how smart it got (including creating mini-black holes from nothing) it had no experience with anything outside its digital. from time to time a drone may have to be booted up with the absolute solver unrestricted and it did make an attempt to get a physical but for whatever reason there needs to be very specific circumstances to grain a host body. (and going a be bit of a side tangent how many people thought it was very odd/creepy that Nori asked who's its host, not who is her host. like the absolute is something else.) so along comes Cyn a damaged drone that through some twist of fate gives her the offer to let it in and it will fix her. Now the thing could begin to learn about the physical and how people and drones interact. However, everything that it is learning to fed through a filter of Cyn's personal feelings and understanding. this may be why we have multiple copies of J, N and V because Cyn had deep feelings and connected to them. however, these filers may have resulted in some of the differences between the current version of the ones we saw in the flashback, where J may have about the company but was a good friend to Tessa or how V went from a simple maid (we really didn't get much of her personally in the flashback did we) to someone who embodies the phrase "let it burn". of course, these are just my thoughts and I might be in a completely different ballpark.
I have a theory maybe n is the original solver? and the one that we saw from the drone pile was n because he’s the Proto drone because he’s more human than the others other than cyn
really hope the actual cyn takes full control and destroys the absolute solver and we get to see her actually personality and she try’s fixing things she’s destroyed
Also in the scene where the drone in the junkyard is waking up, they show that it's wearing an armband that says Cyn, so we know for certain that's who it is
2:13 an interesting theory about how the absolute solver works, but it does have some holes. 1) this doesn't explain why windows or symbols appear in the air around a host. 2) the core is the only thing needed for the power to work, as shown by nori, and its 'somewhat small. 3) the AS can't affect like objects, which if the power is generated by moving parts too fast, wouldn't be the case. This does play into my theory on how the power formed.
What if... Cyn KNOWS the Solver can be defeated with emotions and therefore made a 100iq move of letting N V and J keep their personalities, knowing eventually their emotions would control the solver (which happened with N in ep 1 when he was about to kill Uzi in front of Khan)
It's sad, what happened to Tessa.. She was a caring and adventurous girl.. I thought Cyn spared her, but Ig that didn't happen.. I was very sad bec- I mean, Tessa-
It’s all a completely big mess Cyn is or was never ment for this or wanted this but this is the path she ended up on hubris and cruelty of the humans in the show most definitely helped in the solver ending up so monstrous
im late 3 months, but heres some extra theories: The drones are programmed Java, as its shown multiple times in series. Error 606, that appears on the drones in the mansions and on N and V when solver tries to wipe thier memories in Java means "Malware/foreign code detected". The Zombie Drones tape shows that first piece of drone disposal is inserting a new "wdOS606"(worker drone operating system 606). Now the thing is, we are shown only one operating system in this series and its microsoft windows, in which 606 means "Failure to install new update". I cant really figure out what that piece would connect though...
I definitely think that because Cyn was the first host, the solver took after how Cyn talked, her actions, how she walked, her stance, ect. Mostly because the solver is a program that's meant to learn, if it was using something as a host for so long, it might constantly act like that host, despite not realizing it, like a keybind you accidentally pressed. So I think that Cyn was how the absolute solver acted, but like you said, without the hunger to erase all signs of humanity and hurt others in order to get to that goal.
So, I have this theory/belief about the AS. So, I think the solver is an AI that, for it to user it's powers and control a body, it first need what I call a primary host, it needs a primary host to be able to do anything, but the host first needs to accept it, and the solver tricks them into accepting. Cyn is it's primary host. Once it has a primary host it can control the body and use it's powers, but for the solver to have COMPLETE control over the body, it needs to make the host's mind go insane, because if they are not insane or have not given up, the host can try to control their body sometimes and even maybe strain the abilities so they solver could be beaten. Now i am gonna explain my Cyn theory that connects to this. I believe that Cyn never wanted anything that happened to happen. She accepted the solver's help because she thought they would help her, by getting her out of the pile and helping her find someone. Once she is found by Tessa, or even a bit before, Cyn realizes the solver's true intentions but cannot do anything about it now. She is forced to go along with the solver's plans. And later, as a way of making cyn go even more insane, they use Tessa's skin. I think the most we see Cyn herself in control is during ep 5, and we only see the solver itself sometimes, ex, in the basement, I think that the one deleting N's memories is the solver, as, they act very rude to N, not the usual cyn, because Cyn sees him as a big bro, we never really see Cyn being rude to N. While Cyn is being forced to kill everyone at the gala. During the rest of the season, in ep 1, we see Cyn block the solver from using it's program on him, Cyn may not be fully in control but she can still do a few things. Another thing about Cyn, is during ep 6, we know Tessa is truly the solver or yall call her cyn, at the point where Uzi is controlled by Cyn for a few seconds, notice how she saved N by diverting the Sentinels attention from the solver/Tessa and N and then Cyn stopped. During ep 7, the solver is still playing as tessa, so they send Cyn to either control N or kill him(mineshaft scene) we end up seeing Cyn say how he suprised her and she ends up hugging him. When Tessa is beheaded by N, the solver takes control of Uzi, seeing as they no longer have to control tessa for the moment, controls Uzi, and calls him big brother to trick him. Once Uzi is back, they finally reveal that tessa was dead. During ep 8, seeing how powerful the solver is, they wouldve been absolutely decimated. But the solver wanted to toy with them, During this fight scene i think that while the solver is toying with them, Cyn, seeing this as her last chance, tries to hold the solver's power in a bit, to give them a chance, and the solver doesn't realize this, and then uzi gets a chance to rip out the core. When tesscyn is trying to get the black hole that was the core back, i believe the black hole was Cyn's conciousness/mind/system, and the body is the solver trying to get her back, as she was it's primary host. At the end of the episode, i think the solver wouldve acted different towards uzi, but it doesnt. Because it's cyn, not the solver. I think that cyn still acts similarly as before because of the effects the solver had on Cyn's mind. this is longer than I thought... Welp, I hope you guys like my theory!😁
I'm pretty sure the dark figure in the credits of episode 8 is cyn since in one of the home episode scenes there was lighting and made cans face into the episode 8 credits figure face so my speculation is that uzi is sometimes is completely controlled by the solver and her body also becomes cyns by holograms
Hm, interesting, honestly I don’t really think this is that much of a Wild Theory at all, I could imagine this being the case and honestly, I would like that being the case, I wonder how a Solver-less Cyn would be like? Of course, i would like it if Cyn did turn out to still have similar mannerisms to how we first met her even without the Solver, since those mannerisms was part of what i liked about her, although i don’t really know how that would work, since those mannerisms seemed to work best with the way she was talking too and that way of speaking seems to be solely a Solver thing. Regardless, we’ll just have to see what will be the case.
I would love to see the real cyn perhaps regain her body back in episode 8. who was concious the whole time the solver was using her body. Maybe even saw N, and could create some weird rama with Nuzi ( I dunno yall im just spitballing, im a hardcore Nuzi fan) But it would be interesting to see *the real cyn* as a character. Maybe her name was S??? I dunno.
For the drone that wakes up in the pile of bodies, in addition to the yellow colored eyes, there is also an armband shown that has “Cyn” written on it, so it is indeed Cyn we see. This is a really interesting theory and I like the separation of Cyn and the Absolute Solver because then it’s been a calculating intelligence we’ve been seeing and not necessarily a drone that’s gone pure evil.🤔
Something I'm wondering though, Cyn moves like the way she does because she was improperly disposed of, and the Solver can't pilot the body 100% effectively, or because of damages from improper disposal? Or maybe Cyn was like that before being disposed of? 'Cause given how the drones are treated by Tessa's parents, it might not be too far fetched that Cyn was disposed of because of her weird movement.
Give someone with a damaged mind the power of a god and you get a psychopath the solver is a support ai cyns mind was damaged and the darkest part of her personality were magnified 1000 times by the power the solver gave her
This a W theory tho. Also can't wait for episode eight already lol. Also props to the people who came when the video was uploaded less then a hour ago.
I believe that there are actually three beings which are the Absolute Solver AI, the original Cyn and the thing that’s a deeply messed up combination of both
its possible that the AS is in control, and cyn is still in there and manages to effect its actions and personality occasionally.
I’m fairly sure that the drone at the bottom of the pile is labeled “Cyn” on their armband.
So are N, V, and J. They are have the same P/N, but a different S/N. The main CYN's S/N is scratched off though.
@@cythism8106 That's why Tessa named her 'Cyn'. Because she had no S/N to be named after, unlike N, V, and J.
yeah same.

Where Cyn ends and the Solver begins is one of the big questions of the show, and hopefully we'll get an answer eventually 🤔
@@DarkXSolver17
I'm fairly certain that the subtitle thing is just for easy distinguishment.
Nice theory about Tessa, I was thinking the same
Tessa was dead before ep 6 (if u watch episode 4 reallly carefully u will realised u saw Tessa cyn 2 times which meant Tessa died before episode 4 so I don’t think she can “shed skin” but good theory
@@cinnamonbullseye The big one is that we also see her flesh hands move and flex, so there is definitely a little life left in that “suit”
Hopefully episode 8 will help clarify how much of it Cyn is control and the how much the absolute solver is in control.
And if it doesn’t, season 2! :D
What do you mean by help clarify how much of it Cyn is in control?
@@bellebelle5758 Some of the fans are conflicted on wether the Solver is evil, or if cyn is, and shes the one in control
@@Cheese_man539 so basically if cyn is in control or not?
Iangl she isnt bro 😂
Cyn is still out there though - in episode 1, when N is shot by Uzi, Cyn blocks the solver's administrative rights so that the solver doesn't take over him. This could mean one of two things:
1. Cyn is actively working against the solver, using her admin rights to protect disassembly drones from possesion and slowing down the spread
Dang
That's a really good one
the admin setting in question was probably set up to conserve time as the solver would take over, use the parts to repair, then immediately release control.
Cyn was in episode 5 a little cutie! Tessa's parents treated her like trash just because she had some little flaws. Her relationship is also adorable, how she's sees him as the big bro. But sadly, it seems like the real Cyn is gone...❤

It's not really a theory as it has something that happened already I actually feel bad For Cyn
Regardless, i would like to see more of Cyn’s life in the Mansion.
The fact that the solver needed Cyn's permission when she booted up just supports this much much more.
i always think about what would happen if cyn was able to break free from the solver, would she try and fix things or just not give two flying fcks
Depends on what she remembers and how those memories make her feel?
The first theory actually makes a lot of sense
Hm, i could see that.

Worse: She fight against it after having broken N too much emotionally, that she cries while begging N to burn/destroy her

I feel like the solver still keeps Cyns personality and having her spectate the solvers actions, however the only difference is the voice being modified and the solver adding aggression to the OS personality, when reality Cyn is soft, kind and has your back you kind of person.
My favorite lines Cyn said:
1. lick

3. let me in let me in let me in
4. angry
5. squirmy worm
6. eager beaver
7. better to asimulate than explain anyway
Would make sense what ''Tessa" said "took Cyn as a host" when talked to N in EP 6
Kinda sad
This exactly, I feel like Cyn made a deal with the Absolute Solver to stay alive not knowing what she was in for, only to have her software all but erased/suppressed by the AS who commandeered her body to further its own goals.
Goes well with her name. She made a deal with the devil and then it got twisted into her only being a host...
Cyn sounds like sin
Poor girl
Someone apparently thinks she might've also been a bit of a goofball before the Solver took over.

I hope in episode 8 everything will be explained to us
Im very interested in how much of cyn is the solver and how much she still has left
When code flashes on trash pile cyn’s face, you can see the Absolute Solver saying the “will not discard” line
Considering in the credits its Cyn/Absolute Solver means they're two separate things
Also not to mention Cyn was planning on sparing Tessa at first
In episode 7, we can see Uzi taking control of “null” and it actually did something according to *uzi*’s feelings. Can you make a theory bout that
I decide rewatch few drone episodes and something that stick out to was fact Uzi absolute solver was set to false implying it was deactivated before as it should been set true originally.
4:00
We can see the drone is labeled as "Cyn" on the dumpster, plus, on episode 2 we see a flashback of V with white eyes, so that's 100% Cyn when she was taken by the absolute solver x)
Cyn has never been shown to act like that, so it was unique to J Solver.
maybe the Solver acts different with each host it has. But that’s my take and it certainly has plot holes
What im guessing is that Solver is the reboot of Cyn as everything about her is rebooted except for the actual original AI and that the Solver is just simply Cyn herself and thats why she can still bother with “ish” emotions towards N but still has her own goals (e.g revenge on the humans for attempting to dispose of her)
Imagine Cyn takes control of her body again to fight the Solver
I always knew like at first before this she was like the normal adorable drone with a normal voice instead of a glitched on, as well as white eyes due to her being N's sister and him having white eyes, and also that she somehow contracted solver via theses ways: a(it brought her back from death, B(she contracted it like a disease from a glitch or being attacked by another drone with it give or take but c( she had it she was alive and started to lose her self and her sanity before finally it had her as its queen on a chess board
my personal thoughts on the Solver was that it's basically the self repair system of WDs and MDs. and likely other human made bots like the reclamation roaches that we've seen feasting on WD bodies. the Solver is why we've seen drones get injured in minor ways and still manage to get up and function, it's easy to imagine their oil is ladened with nanites, especially with how we've seen it sparkle like it's full of metallic glitter. the MDs having a more advanced variant of the solver that, even in total core failure, will try to repair itself. and the infected drones aka Uzi and Doll having a more advanced variant like the MDs, but nowhere near as controlled, as we've seen Uzi recover from absolutely devastating attacks and Doll recover from what V did in the Prom fight,
the reason Zombie drones are so dangerous is because it was Software death that killed them, meaning the hardware that controls the self repair protocol of the Solver is still intact. the Solver, being a problem solving and repair system, requires mass, and so it's matter collection system is vital to it's repair abilities. however, based on how we've seen characters with the Advanced variant of the Solver duplicate physical objects out of seemingly nowhere, I think it's safe to say that the Solver has the ability of matter transmission, aka: one of the systems in these drones allows a signal from what I assume is Earth being consumed, aka the rest of the Solver collection points, and use that stored material for duplication and repair.
the reason this didn't work in J is because that system, located in the Core of the Drone, was damaged beyond simple repair in J. bugging out the system, and accidentally starting a matter collection and mixed/bugged programming section.
in summary, I'm totally adding what you said in this video to my own Theory.
the Solver is the self repair system of a Drone and other human made machinery. nanite or otherwise micro machine repair to simulate how organic tissue repairs itself by replacing damaged cells every day through the stresses of life. and the Absolute Solver is the glitched, bugged out, energy to matter capable variant of it that is bugged out severely and able to do so much more than simply repair and understand new systems.
I think I believe this theory, because there was a scene where N says "oh OUR Cyn? Nah she's cool/okay" if I remember correctly
0:32 me learning more about IT instead of my IT class
Perhaps, S is the USB
we need a theory on what would have happened if Cyn clicked no
I think this is what happened..
The tag on the drone that was thrown out also said "cyn"
this is actually kinda confirmed because the "marked for disposal" band on the drone that reboots in the pile of bodies is labled as "CYN".

The absolute solver was terribly programmed if it wasn't given hard-coding to never harm humans

I love this so much for so many reasons and i was thinking about this too but when i tried explaining it no one understood and you put it in a perspective i never could have thought of Cyn is my favorite character and i love seeing more of ger but i couldn't help but feel like she's been the victim the whole time
That's actually a really great theory and now I want to see them find a way to save Cyn in Episode 8.
Cyn seems something like an Anti-hero
I see the AS as like a rabies virus. As time went on, the infection Cyn had got worse and the AS took more control, turning her completely hostile. But I do think Cyn had an influence on the AS as she had intended to spare Tessa, and when turning N, J, and V in Disassembly Drones, she had them keep their personalities. Shame we didn't get to see any other DDs so as to compare then to the main trio.
it's always been my headcannon the Cyn and the Solver are two different beings. cyn is a drone and the solver is something else controlling cyn's body
I absolutely adore murder drones it’s so phenomenal and I can’t wait for I believe the last episode of season 1
I wished that Cyn wasn't evil bro she has a good heart but she's getting controlled
Cyn is basically the main host for the absolute solver and prob the AS took her body fully and now is a literal walking skinwalker
Sometimes I question how this person knows so much lore from this show.
senses cyn wearing Tessa skin is her brain in a drone so cyn can keep her close
personally, I think there's something belong the Absolute Solver maybe something like a collective unconsciousness, I.e all worker drones that use the Aboslute Solver as a base may be connected to some wireless network where every drone is giving something of 0.01% of their processing power to it. after so long it developed into something conscious, however, no matter how smart it got (including creating mini-black holes from nothing) it had no experience with anything outside its digital. from time to time a drone may have to be booted up with the absolute solver unrestricted and it did make an attempt to get a physical but for whatever reason there needs to be very specific circumstances to grain a host body.
This does play into my theory on how the power formed.
on second thought, you're probably right in a way. the moving of the parts just allows the code to affect and manifest in reality.
I remember seeing a new absolute solver screen somewhere else in the more recent videos like esps 7 or 8
I thought Cyn spared her, but Ig that
didn't happen.. I was very sad bec- I mean,
Tessa-
It’s all a completely big mess Cyn is or was never ment for this or wanted this but this is the path she ended up on
hubris and cruelty of the humans in the show most definitely helped in the solver ending up so monstrous
As someone who has made a case on why cyn isnt the solver, yeah
im late 3 months, but heres some extra theories:
The drones are programmed Java, as its shown multiple times in series.
This seems like a season 2 plotline
I dunno.
As I said last video, I bet she'll come back.
This makes me wonder about J cause Im under the assumption that she doesn’t know tessa is dead and that cyn took her skin
Episode seven made me scream I love Cyn and N and I don't wanna pick sides 😭
For the drone that wakes up in the pile of bodies, in addition to the yellow colored eyes, there is also an armband shown that has “Cyn” written on it, so it is indeed Cyn we see.
This is a really interesting theory and I like the separation of Cyn and the Absolute Solver because then it’s been a calculating intelligence we’ve been seeing and not necessarily a drone that’s gone pure evil.🤔
wait i'm not a robot but i call you drone cut... WHAT AM I?!?!?!
I hope one day we see the real Cyn…
Something I'm wondering though, Cyn moves like the way she does because she was improperly disposed of, and the Solver can't pilot the body 100% effectively, or because of damages from improper disposal? Or maybe Cyn was like that before being disposed of? 'Cause given how the drones are treated by Tessa's parents, it might not be too far fetched that Cyn was disposed of because of her weird movement.
Give someone with a damaged mind the power of a god and you get a psychopath the solver is a support ai cyns mind was damaged and the darkest part of her personality were magnified 1000 times by the power the solver gave her
I find it interesting that when cyn rebooted she happened to have a hole in her screen that similar to how the usb is inserted
The slover is blaming CYn
Cyn's just a little silly...
This a W theory tho. Also can't wait for episode eight already lol.
Also props to the people who came when the video was uploaded less then a hour ago.
