when i saw the body cam footage i immediately thought of the ulvade shooting in texas and how long it took the police to go in there and rescue those babies. there was so many of them too and they waited an hour.
The shooter was suicidal, and wanted to die. But why in the process would you want to hurt children? I don’t even feel sorry for the shooter.

The shooter had both a AR-15 and a kel tec so its not really incorrect.

Fun fact: the gun they say was "AR style weapon." Was actually a kel tec sub 2000 which is classified as a PCC (Pistol - Caliber Carbine) which means it is a pistol or hand gun. And all my condolences go out to all the families directly affected by this shooting.

For example in Romania there is only one case categorized as mass shooting with 2 dead victims and another 8 injured, while in US this year only there's 487 cases with 571 dead people(inclunding the shooter/s) and 1,947 wounded, 6 of them occured at a school or university. Bullying is not the sole reason, the acces to guns is like buying a big mac then you have the medication you give to kids and ofc the upbringing of the kid. Im not trying to justife the acts or defend the criminal here but if you want to solve and stop this acts to happen again or atleast at this rate, you have to understand why this criminals do that and what helps them succeed(in lack of a better word) this type of evil incidents. Is easy to say it happened because he is a devilious animal wich is true but that won't help in preventing this cases from happening again.

I go to high school and every day I'm just like "Please don't let me die today. I'd rather die by my AP Physics class than by a school shooting." This is literally what I'm thinking on my bus every day. Everytime people are talking about school shootings, they will talk about how to stay safe from them. Nobody talks about how to prevent them. Be kind to everyone, include everyone. If no one feels alone, left out, hated, unwanted, or just bad in general, this problem will go away. Audrey Elizabeth Hale, who also went by the name Aiden, was identified by the police as the shooter. She was a 28-year-old Nashville resident with no criminal record who had attended the school. Police initially identified her as a woman but later said she was a transgender man, assigned female at birth and used he/him pronouns. She was an illustrator and graphic designer who graduated from the Nossi College of Art & Design in 2022. A neighbor said she lived with his parents. Police Chief John Drake said Hale was under care for an emotional disorder at the time of the shooting and had legally purchased seven firearms, including three recovered from the shooting scene, between October 2020 and June 2022.
Now ask yourself how someone being treated for a "emotional disorder" can legally purchase firearms.

In defense of the news caster, the shooter was carrying like three guns from what I remember. The Kel-tech sub 2000, an AR carbine chambered in 9mm, and a 9mm pistol.

Just my point of view, what if ur in a store shopping with ur family, and u have that right carrying ur gun in it's holster on u or whomever has this right. Ur looking at stuff talking with ur wife and kids, a guy sees ur gun, and he's been thinking for weeks or longer about shooting many, 😮 all of a sudden he walks by u as ur backs to him. He geabs u from behind his arm around ur throat grabs ur gun from it's holster and shoots ur wife and kids in the head then shoots u and ur dead. He has the control from the fear hes put in people and he walks through the store shooting as many as he can before police arrive and then kills himself. Now what was it all for? A senseless act many dead lifes forever changed over a stupid gun. To me guns and law from the beginning of the very first gun , government should have control the number of guns being made the make and not let guns become over populated, now there's so many shootings and to many people. The question now is not if, but when and where will the next shooting be? 🤔🥺😢😢
Well for starters as you tell us, the scenario you made up, you’re telling us at the same time did you really do not know what you’re talking about. The majority of people who carry carry concealed for the smart people the open carry able to call a retention holster with safety mechanisms were someone can’t come behind you and just pull your gun out. But if you think the guy is prepared, carrying a gun doesn’t have a back up weapon such as a knife that would probably be buried in your thigh or side before you get the gun out of the holster if you could ever get the gun out ever.

Kel-Tec sub2000 is not an AR or an "AR style" weapon. It's a pistol caliber carbine chambered in 9mm.
The shooter had both an AR-15 and a Kel Tec reportedly. I cant quiet tell in this video but I suspect its the rifle you can see on a sling. The video just doesn't quiet match the voiceover.

Usually the cameras can be accessed from an administrators computer, however most admin aren't sitting at their desk all day to view security footage.
Schools in many areas have security cameras that the receptionist who must buzz people in can monitor. However, I'm not sure how effective this would be if someone is determined to shoot their way in. The cameras usually scan a fairly small area.
