5186 applied to be a Trooper. Only 106 made too Trooper school, and only 92 graduated. Sounds like just about every other department in the U.S. Always complaining about a shortage but are to stringent on their requirements.
A state trooper is different than a regular cop, if you can’t hack it then you have no business being a trooper plain and simple. If they were less stringent than people would be crucifying them for hiring people that shouldn’t be a state trooper, so damned if they do and damned if they don’t.
