It makes me so sad because Gianna Bryant was supposed to be part of her recruiting class no idea how she would’ve developed or if she would’ve been good enough to be a Connecticut prospect but man, you can only wonder
She has a good feel for the game which is hard to teach. Reminds me of Corliss Williamson/Charles Barkley type player. Bull in the post for not being especially tall but also has a nice shooting touch to go along with ball handling and passing abilities. If she keeps working on conditioning and commits to a high level of fitness, she will be near unstoppable.
Geno will have her fit and in shape she should really watch a lot of film of Stuelke from Iowa. She will get 8 to 10 points per game just out running everybody in transition Paige is definitely a Caitlin Clark level passer so she will be able to find her as long as she runs.
She'll do great things at UConn. I can see Coach Geno using her as a 4 with El Alfy (small lineup) and a 3 with Brady and El Alfy (big lineup). Now, if by chance the Huskies manage to land Beers from the portal, that will be a very, very dangerous team.
Geno would get her into NCAA shape. One concerning thing about these highlights though is the number of "bunnies" that she misses, only to grab the offensive rebound and make the put-back. She is doing this against players who giving up 2 to 3 inches in every instance. At 6'2", she won't have that advantage in college. Every one of those missed bunnies would result in a defensive rebound and no bucket. Re-watch this and you'll see what I mean. Great passer though, and Geno would love that.
I noticed that too after the first watch but just like you said Geno will get her in NCAA shape I believe that’s a very easy tweak that Geno could help fix as well in the summer.
She has a shot, great post moves, knows her strength enough to bully to the basket, handles, and the biggest thing you can’t coach she’s got that toughness
It won't matter. She has a big body and a quick jump. Taller players may be able to block her, but that doesn't necessarily mean they'll be able to keep her off the offensive boards.
and she’s going be on the perimeter much more than people realize Geno Go and look at highlight of Kaleena Mosqueda Lewis he’ll play her exactly like her Her shot at 6’2 is going to be extremely difficult to defend
I wish she went to USC. This way they could take on lsu n Sc etc deep in the tournaments.. Would love to see her play with JuJu , I can't remember the young person name that has all Americans. But that's a deep squad.. But all and all, UConn has a great squad and coach. . Great choice on her end.
Missed a ton of shots in close. That reminds me a little of Edwards. She gets the rebound because she's taller than most players, but that won't be the case regularly in college. She's a strong (pun intended) work in progress. I like that she's more post-orientated than Ice Brady.
She'll be a great fit for UCONN. Her presence and skills are needed there. Her and Paige will do great damage on the court.

Wen she gets into UConn shape she's going to be a full grown muel mark my words lets goooooo
Mule
And then there were 3, see you in Storrs this fall Sarah!

I would say UConn is SC and Texas biggest threat tbh. They are loaded next year.
She's a offensive rebounding machine, post moves, can use either hand around the basket, great passer, handles. Whole package
She clearly can't shoot from the outside, or run the break...
@@msp5138 just she can, she's a consistent deep threat, she hit like 3 3s in the McDonalds all american game
Rock on Sarah GO HUSKIES!!!!
This girl is special
She looks really tough to guard; she's going to score a lot of points in the low post for UConn.
Nonsense 😂. Joyce Edwards was the Gatorade National Player Of The Year. Won the Morgan Wooten Award also
Another big body to replace Aaliyah Edwards yo!!!! She definitely made the right choice on signing with the UConn Lady Huskys
The next ONE at UConn 🐺
amazing plays, someday we'll have those kinds of competitions in Peru
Sarah stromg is amazing NC state !
Nope Husky bound👍👍
@@thomasvelazquez9789 they just robbed uconn
She missed at least 10 layups in a highlight tape. That doesn't seem like a good sign to me. But obviously she's got great rebounding skills.

If Brady starts next season, Geno is senile.

Yes I noticed that too. But in Geno, she has the right coach to help her correct that. Geno will get her right.

Storrs CT. is waiting for you Sarah ❤
Ahhh go UConn!!
Paige Bueckers + Azzi Fudd + Sarah Strong??🔥🔥🔥 Yeah... another UConn championship loading....
Bro, she has some of the biggest hands I ever seen on a female, when I saw the ball in her hand I thought it was one of those play balls.
We need a guard

Sarah is basically in Raleigh's back yard. Cmon sarah...NC STATE
She considered Duke but not State
Pick uconn please. We have a group of 10,000 strong to watch you play.
Nooooo
She's coming. We got her. Paige + Azzi + Sarah is gonna be a tough combination to beat.
How tall is she?

I wouls like to see woman so more pull up jumpers
She’s good but there’s a big difference between her and last years number 1.
Juju is a generational talent....Sarah is the No. 1 ranked player class 2024 but the class is stacked again
