Yep this is what really gave it away for me. He didn’t know how I was monitoring that constant active FB messenger light. And boy did I catch him in a way that probably ended up shocking him. I’m still so heartbroken & sick about it all but at least I know what he is and count my blessings I’m out! He snowed me for way too long.. although red flags 🚩 everywhere but I chose to ignore because we had a long history of friendship’ before becoming romantically involved.

Mine always got super happy, like cheesy happy and said cheesy sh*t. Bedroom time also became different. He actually would want to please me, be more into it, doing different things we hadn't done in a long time, and sometimes multiple times a day. He also pulled the bathroom trick and the playing games trick. He was playing games alright, on me. He picked crazy fights, even IF we had been getting along all day and laughing having a good time. The fights would come out of nowhere and literally be about nothing at all or so dang stupid...but it gave him the excuse he needed to leave and turn his phone off or block me as soon as he left cause "I made him mad". Lots of random numbers calling he would say were spam. He would also message if I was going to be on time coming home from whatever it was I was out doing...I learned he needed to know when to clear our house out of his company. And I had NO idea the whole "going to the store or station" was a narc thing. He did that all the time and gone for hours. In fact, our last night together, he slept with me 3 times that day, told me he loved me, and left for the station, and never came back home...he had another. UGH, I needed to hear this tonight. 1 week free and it's been brutal and hurts so much, missing him (trauma bond). I feel so da*m stupid right now and sick. This made me pick my head back up. Fk him 😝

He has been accusing me just about every day that I am the one cheating because he read somewhere that if, "your wife is cheating she faces her phone down and keeps her phone on silent or vibrate." I have to be honest, I do keep my phone faced down because I've cracked my screen twice while cooking. I have always suffered from low self esteem due to childhood traumas. My x saw me coming a mile away. Id never understood what a narcissist is until him. He made me feel like i was the only girl in the world. He made me feel so pretty. And he made me feel like i was important to him. First time in my life that ive ever felt so good about life. I am an excellent communicator, so I was very clear, up front that I was not interested in a serious relationship. And he and i spent time together and got pretty close. And ine night, after he screwed up on a minor issue, he whispered ,"I love you girl." in my ear. I think he knew i was about to dump his ass . Sool i let my guard down and took a chance in allowing myself to believe that maybe he really is in love with me . And as soon as i did and started loving him, he changed . Gradually at first. Then mire often and more intense. Everything you mentioned, he did. And I had enough of him making me feel wortless, unwanted, undesirable, ugly, and fat... unimportant was the worst. So i left him. One of the hardest things ive ever done. It has been 3 years, and still feels like yesterday. Still so painful . Still so sad . Still so cruel . Still so unfair . I am trying to heal and do damage control. But honestly, i will never look at the world the same . I changed. I still believe in love, and i am still hopeful that i will have a new love, but it will have to be on helluva guy. No more of me seeing life through those soulful, curious, empathic eyes and heart. Now i am a ,"prove it" type of girl.😢

Checked my cheating wife's phone for text messages. A wierd text chain was there: It looked like a bunch of missed calls with preselected text responses like; "Can't talk, in a meeting". The other who was texting her said things like, "Can you set up a meeting about your inquiry". It was wierd and always from a number and not a name. Narcissists are master manipulators
My narcissist guy was clearly 110% narcissist. I experienced all aspects of what they do. The scariest part about staying with him was he was turning me into my worst version of myself. The more he bs me... The more my brain started conjuring how to fight back. Because my normal relationships don't usually include mental and emotional torment. So I had to let him go. I needed him away from me to stop the progression of my rage from his frequently fabricated accusations and insults. I kept warning him that his demons were messing with my demons. 😂. He didnt understand that I love hard and my intolerance to his shenanigans had him running past my 🔥 in his gasoline gas ⛽ drawers. And I cut all communication and I'm so glad the evil is gone... and my peace and joy was instantly restored in his absence. He is some other woman's problem now. And I hope she will run not walk to the nearest exit. This guy needs real prayer. Bc he comes across so innocent sweet and loyal. Before him I knew nothing at all about narcissistic personality disorder. And I was the perfect supply until I understood that narcissistic men can't reciprocate love. They are the perfect rendition of what's love got to do with it.

He actually would want to please me, be more into it, doing different things we hadn't done in a long time, and sometimes multiple times a day. He also pulled the bathroom trick and the playing games trick. He was playing games alright, on me. He picked crazy fights, even IF we had been getting along all day and laughing having a good time. The fights would come out of nowhere and literally be about nothing at all or so dang stupid...but it gave him the excuse he needed to leave and turn his phone off or block me as soon as he left cause "I made him mad". Lots of random numbers calling he would say were spam. He would also message if I was going to be on time coming home from whatever it was I was out doing...I learned he needed to know when to clear our house out of his company. And I had NO idea the whole "going to the store or station" was a narc thing. He did that all the time and gone for hours. In fact, our last night together, he slept with me 3 times that day, told me he loved me, and left for the station, and never came back home...he had another. UGH, I needed to hear this tonight. 1 week free and it's been brutal and hurts so much, missing him (trauma bond). I feel so da*m stupid right now and sick. This made me pick my head back up. Fk him 😝

He has been accusing me just about every day that I am the one cheating because he read somewhere that if, "your wife is cheating she faces her phone down and keeps her phone on silent or vibrate." I have to be honest, I do keep my phone faced down because I've cracked my screen twice while cooking. I have always suffered from low self esteem due to childhood traumas. My x saw me coming a mile away. Id never understood what a narcissist is until him. He made me feel like i was the only girl in the world. He made me feel so pretty. And he made me feel like i was important to him. First time in my life that ive ever felt so good about life. I am an excellent communicator, so I was very clear, up front that I was not interested in a serious relationship. And he and i spent time together and got pretty close. And ine night, after he screwed up on a minor issue, he whispered ,"I love you girl." in my ear. I think he knew i was about to dump his ass . Sool i let my guard down and took a chance in allowing myself to believe that maybe he really is in love with me . And as soon as i did and started loving him, he changed . Gradually at first. Then mire often and more intense. Everything you mentioned, he did. And I had enough of him making me feel wortless, unwanted, undesirable, ugly, and fat... unimportant was the worst. So i left him. One of the hardest things ive ever done. It has been 3 years, and still feels like yesterday. Still so painful . Still so sad . Still so cruel . Still so unfair . I am trying to heal and do damage control. But honestly, i will never look at the world the same . I changed. I still believe in love, and i am still hopeful that i will have a new love, but it will have to be on helluva guy. No more of me seeing life through those soulful, curious, empathic eyes and heart. Now i am a ,"prove it" type of girl.😢

So I had to let him go. I needed him away from me to stop the progression of my rage from his frequently fabricated accusations and insults. I kept warning him that his demons were messing with my demons. 😂. He didnt understand that I love hard and my intolerance to his shenanigans had him running past my 🔥 in his gasoline gas ⛽ drawers. And I cut all communication and I'm so glad the evil is gone... and my peace and joy was instantly restored in his absence. He is some other woman's problem now. And I hope she will run not walk to the nearest exit. This guy needs real prayer. Bc he comes across so innocent sweet and loyal. Before him I knew nothing at all about narcissistic personality disorder. And I was the perfect supply until I understood that narcissistic men can't reciprocate love. They are the perfect rendition of what's love got to do with it.

100% Every example you mentioned, I've experienced. Almost like this podcast was made for me about several of my past relationship cheaters that were caught. I've even caught X's cheating and never said a thing. I would bring up cheating in casual conversation days or weeks later, and they would say to my face in tears, "I would never do anything to jeopardize our relationship." This was said after I visually caught several of them cheating without them knowing that I knew! Crazy! Like an Oscar winning performance!!! Fake tears from fake people!
