How do the icons look for 3rd party apps? Do they match the color/style of the other icons?
Also, in regards to user privacy, I image this would be a lot better than most android versions because it's not using Google services, correct?
This is better for privacy yes! 3rd party will be color icons unless you install a different icon pack.

Thanks for this Ghostphone review! I'm thinking about this... simple question- Is Gmail an app? So basically, can I install it myself and then just be able to check my email. Also, if then I'm in an email and someone has sent me a link that uses an app that I haven't installed, Instagram for instance, can I still see the link anyway or would I first need to install that app? Thanks again.
You can install the Gmail app. It won't work as well, but it's doable. As far as instagram, it would open up in a browser or you can install the app.
can you recomend or make a tutorial on how to add other apps to the phone? i cant find hardly anything about this phone on youtube
Just load the apk by transferring it from a laptop and click on it. That's how you sideload.
How different is this to just installing graphene os an a google pixel.
No different. I mention this at the beginning of the video. You can do this yourself, but if you don't know how to or don't want to learn, this is an option.
What is the difference between the Ghost Pro and the Ghost Plus?
Ghost Plus is a Pixel 4 device and Ghost Pro is Pixel 6a device.

Does hotspot work with this phone and android auto if downloaded?
Auto no. Hotspot yes.
When you add an app through the thumb drive how do you update the app?
You'll have to manually update and keep updating it via the USB drive

@@jarobetech703 Unfortunately Android Auto does not currently work on the device. It requires both Google Play Services and Google Services Framework to operate, and they can't currently be installed on the device. Mostly because of how invasive the services framework is, it would require some significant changes to our OS to allow it to take the control it needs over the system. If ever there's an open source version of Android Auto, or we somehow find a workaround, you'll see it on our devices, it's a feature I would very much like our users to have

Is this a no data plan phone? I want this exact phone but with data to run google maps. This phone is 99% of what I need. All I want is the typical smart phone feel of texting and screen and camera, but with maps and nothing else but talk and text.
No. You can have data on this phone. You cannot run Google maps reliably on this though because it doesn't have google services. You can run other map applications like Organic Maps or Maps.Me
Does this phone work in Canada?
It should work anywhere the Pixel 4 does.
Is the messaging app using Google Messages?
No
No. It's just a basic one. No Google
