He explains exactly what everyone needs to know so perfectly. I totally was caving my elbows inwards which put so much stress in my shoulders, no one ever mentioned they need to be outwards on the descend then bring elbows inwards at the top. When I focused on my elbows out and went for the descend, I felt all chest working. Thank you 😊
As I write this, I’m currently in physical therapy for bicep tendonitis. At home I don’t have any materials to help me recover other than frozen food. I ordered this packet of ruclips.net/user/postUgkx010hhy8hzepHnne4VtzOtUictDZeYMTF so that I may heal faster. They are great! Good grip movements, steady and hard resistant levels, and fun! Thank you!
Max, I'm your great fan & love your videos but this one seems to be on the negative side. The reason being - *thumb rule in dips is you shouldn't flare your elbows* whatever dip it maybe. It puts a lot of pressure on your shoulders and in turn leads to impingement irrespective of whatever position you adapt. I've gone through very painful shoulder impingement due to elbow flaring. Then I've to go through rehab & adopt a right technique. Discussed with some good personal trainers + internet research & adopted the following technique which was really effective & not prone to injury. *The right technique is to tilt your body to little front ( 30-45 degree ) keeping the core engaged with feet locked* Trust me I've been doing Chest , Tricep & Moving Dips for nearly for 4 years.
That David Goggin's type physique is probably the most effective and aesthetic. Lean but not shredded, strong but not bulky, and the right amount of mass for cardio.
@@beanieboei That looks great to me. Coming from 320+ lbs I can’t understand the obsession with dudes getting bigger, it just sucks being big after a certain point.
Should I really be leaning forward to hit my lower pec? I'm not that used to chest dips yet so I have a tendency to lose stability and straighten my body instead of leaning forward
The single most important things about a chest dip is to lean forward, and to keep the chest in front of the delts. This dude dont know what he's talking about.
Thank you for your video not being 7 minutes long 🙌🏽
Lmfao Jeff nips
David goggins looks so much younger in this video
LOL. Not Every Head of this marvellous shape will belong to GOGGINS...🤣
It is a 7 year old video...
Thought it was David in the thumbnail. xD
😂😂😂😂😂
I see what you did there
Not only do you properly distinguish chest dips from tricep dips, you even breakdown the breakdown in most people's shoulders. Great training!

arm chairs, tables, make your own etc.
All this
But id add to pull the shoulders back
Also dont fully lock your arms at the top, so all the tension goes to the pecs
Stay hard!!!

Dudes chest is more vascular than my whole body combined
Thanx a lot
Thank you!!!
Athlean-X and buff dudes say to never ever lock your elbows at the top. You welcome ;)
You can lockout at the top but don't ever do dips weighted
Athlean X uses fake weights, so don't take his words

Many people do mistakes when do chest dip because they think the movement is same like tricep dip
Never knew David Goggins went by a different alias a few years back - why did he change his name?

Annoying video. Every time he was in action the camera zoomed in so you couldn't see what he was doing form wise.
Give credit to your sources. Whether Arnie or whomever did this first…

I wonder if following his instructions would naturally cause your chest to lean forward?
Since when does David Goggins not scream at me anymore? Just got used to it 🥹😂
