    I want a wider field of view, great clarity, and recording. Would the XP38 match what I need? Price doesnt matter much.

      The smaller the lens, the bigger the field of view.
      the Pulsar Helion XP are one of the best thermal monoculars on the market, so the clarity is great.
      With the XP series, you can also record videos or take pictures.

    If they're the same setting then why does one state, 14x and the other 3.1x ?

    What kind of mount did you use to secure the Pulsar monocular to the tripod?

    • @OpticsTradeEU
      @OpticsTradeEU  3 года назад

      The devices have a tripod thread underneath, so you simply screw the tripod head onto the device.

      The image is the same in both daylight and at night time, so you can also use this thermal monocular during the day. Thank you for watching!

    For the life of me I can't decide which one to buy. I think I'm settled on one of the 50s for the detection range. Everyone says the XP has a better resolution but the XQ has a higher optical zoom. It's also been mentioned that when you upload the videos, you lose so much quality compared to what you can really see in real life. The only place I can buy from locally doesn't have a showroom. What I do?! I could save a thousand bucks by getting the XQ50F but will I regret the lower resolution? Someone also showed that mathematically, at higher (digital) zooms, the resolutions are pretty similar anyways. Hmmmmmmm.......$$$$

      Even with the higher optical magnification of the XQ50, the XP50 is still much better. When you digitally zoom in with the XP50, the picture is much clearer than on the same magnification with the XQ50. The XP50 has also a wider field of view, which helps when observing and searching for animals.

      @@OpticsTradeEU Hah I would honestly love to! So you really mean it, the XP50 zoomed in is still much more clear than the XQ50? Would you mind trying to describe the difference in clarity? I'm curious because youtube videos make them look so similar. Thanks for your time, I really appreciate it!

    When will the pulsar guys realise there are guys out there who are only interested in seeing clearly and positively what they are looking at to attain a clean kill without all the extras in the units .Turn on ....see it as clear as possible and pull the trigger .Full stop .Clear conscience. No bad shots on gods creatures .No sharing any evidence and dick measuring with their pals .The Spitfire pilots in ww2 hated the camera equipment linked to their fire buttons .They thought it was vulgar ....Anyway on a positive note your equipment is second to none .Top of the tree and you deserve to do well but please make models without all the crap add ons for belt and braces hunters please .
