The part about the displacement method for negative thoughts blew me away because I actually discovered doing this years ago for my own clinical depression. Because I thought it was a sound idea, I committed myself to get rid of the negative thought as soon as it came into my mind and attacked the negativity like a lion to prey. I became the hunter of my depression and told all negative thoughts to go away. I did this every day all day for a year and after that I was depression free for two years after with no moments of depression. At some point I stopped practicing the method and eventually I noticed some moments of depression so I went back to the 'method' and it helped immensely.
I really don't think you can enter in the Mind of God, But God at his will enters into one's mind. Thus people need to learn to listen and recognize the feeling and the message.

This was (as a non-Jewish and somewhat heretical individual) utterly beautiful and enriching.
