my players are just finishing up the death house and are about to come upon barovia in the next session and i have been searching for music/ambience that has the right feeling, but everything has been way too over the top. i love how you kept the music nice and calm so it doesn't distract from roleplay. your work is amazing and i can't wait to see more! thank you so much for sharing it.

Wasnt there a Ravenloft adventure called Bleak House that took place in Barovia that was like 2nd edition?

Ravenloft is by far the best RPG setting ever created. Too bad most of players know it only from Curse of Strahd adventure and have never played the complete setting based on 2nd or 3.5 d&d edition. BTW, Great piece of music to use in a Ravenloft adventure.

I have been needing a REALLY tuned score to immerse myself and write the ravenloft game of my dark powers. This is wonderful and most useful.

I listen to this track a lot while prepping for our sessions, it's so menacing and great.

Amazing work!! This really puts me in the scene and I feel like I'm approaching the dreary village of Barovia. Keep up the awesome work!

As long as you give a shoutout or put a link somewhere in the description, no problems!
All I want is for the people to be able to find me if they like what they heard ! Enjoy! :)

I would love to get my hands at similar music to the first few seconds of the video, any suggestions what exactly to search for?

Good question, Well, I'm going back to barovia soon to makie a soundtrack for curse of strahd so you can stay tuned for that ! Otherwise, the folks at critical role have recently release candela obscura soundtrack like a month ago-ish ? It is a bit more victorian-call of cthulhu-ish. Maybe that would be good ? It is worth checking out tho.

Ah, thanks for answering, I am looking forward to more tunes! Albeit, my players visit Barovia in a few days for the first time, I fear it might be a little too soon for that. :D
What actually is the exact instrument you are using at the beginning? Some string instrument, but that doesn't sound like a guitar.
