"It seems like ages ago that I was a young and aspiring mage. I had her back then... the love of my life. I was... happy back then. Then... then I could only watch as her head rolled to the ground as it was severed from her body by the headsman's axe. Unjustly executed because she refused the local lord's unwanted advances. I knew I was a changed man that day. I no longer cared for my normal studies... I no longer cared for the fame, fortune or glory... I only wanted her back in my arms again. She was the light of my life and I tried to do what I could to bring her back... but even after hundreds of years, countless experiments and sacrificing the souls of hundreds... I still can't bring her back. My unholy dive into necromancy has proven fruitless. Now, no longer the bright and airy student I once was... just a decrepit old necromancer with nothing to show for it. May my love forgive me what I have done..."

Reminds me of a giant mausoleum, like back in the past of some of the really wealthy old families had. They were so elaborate and complex for a place to store dead bodies that is. Super great ambience and vibe from this. The wind effect sound is really good and the music part blends in very well and doesn't seem intrusive or like tacked on.

I'm ashamed to say I discovered your Ali-Baba's cave recently. But the discovery is worth of it! Dark, gothic atmosphere, visually and musically. As odd as it can seem, I would be so happy to live in your imaginary dark countries. Every detail is rich of so much possibilities. I am and always been a huge fan of horror, gothic fantasy literature. H.P. Lovecraft is one of my masters in horrific realm. Actually, I read a marvelous anthology with some of classic gothic horror novels: The Castle of Otranto, by Horace Walpole, Vatheck, by William Beckford, The Monk, by M.G. Lewis, etc. Your gloomy ambiance is just perfect to put me and keep me in the right mood while I'm delighting of this literary refined feast. Thank you so much for sharing the «poisonous» fruit of your wonderful work. I'm discovering more and more of your dark gems. And each time I'm eager to discover the next. 👌👌👌👌👌👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
I am so happy to hear you enjoy my dark moods as I just finished another one yesterday, it is a grim dark fantasy, but I did contemplate making it a Lovecraftian horror, so the influence is there. It will be released in about 3 weeks ;-)
Hey just though I'd say, really love this ambience, gets me in the mood for creating content or just general relaxation, fell asleep to this last night. I also reminds me of merunes dagon plane in Oblivion & some of the structures in skyrim, gives me daedra vibes :) I'm in the middle of creating a comic strip based on my Hogwarts legacy character but making the foes far more of a threat... this is a short & its about me saving two magical beasts caged in the forbidden forest & slaying 2 poachers..though I do take damage & I have them using Unforgivables on me. ( I say its a short but it has like 50 panels 🤣& I'm using the back of receipts, sketching down quick scenes) Will be coming up with more ideas such as my origin story was going to have the poachers ( foes of the game) kidnap my pets & kill a family member cliche I know. But gives me alot more reason to go after them than just " The chosen one trope" the games reasoning, since we never actually got any BG info in the game but I'm really in to this idea just now. Just thought I'd share this I know loads of people probably don't give a sh** maybe others will, perhaps it might give others inspiration to create to. Again Thank you for this it is appreciated greatly :)
Me and my shining light would love to live there. Why does everyone demonize such beauty? Maybe there’s a bunch of light bringers that live there and they just enjoy gloomy weather and ancient castles 🏰
*If you think this is impressive, you should see my castle.* A castle that would make the beauty of heaven pale in comparison. With every wall made from the purest white marble. Adorn with grand statues of heroes, angels, and knights that protect every gate and archway. And no one can walk through the gorgeous halls without laying witness to the gilded scripture carved into every surface. As those divine words remind us of the thousand great triumphs of mankind. Expecting something different? I never said I was an evil necromancer, just misunderstood by those who fear minds that seek to build heaven on earth.
You know there is something wrong in the world when there isn't any magic, no sorcerers living in castles, no dragons to slay, no lizard people to fuck. The modern world is a mistake.
