i'll be honest i don't see why nintendo fans are so allergic to boycotting. like... if you want to support the smaller studio behind the game, just go check out what that studio made before. this weird brand loyalty is what allowed nintendo to get to where they are now
Nintendo really put us in a tough spot, we want to support good games, but not bad business practices. And Nintendo does both. However I'm starting to notice more and more people are dissatisfied with their games. So unless Nintendo has some banger launch titles for switch 2, things could change.
you definitely bring up some interesting points w palworld in comparison to this zelda game, though my brain is a bit too tired atm to explain why, but it does raise an eyebrow or two also yeesh, i didnt know about nintendo going after the emulator guy like that right before echoes, i guess their diversion worked
It’s hard to hate a Zelda game. Unless it’s litteraly unplayable (ahem… …Zelda 2) And If it has multiplayer with only 3 people and the gameplay is terrible (ahem… …triforce heroes)
6:58 Story-gated trigger nonsense + What you said earlier on "Slow beginning" is just your typical overrated traditions from 3D Zeldas, nothing new unless well... "classic" Zelda fans got a heavy cognitive dissonance on what they want vs What they complain about. I agree those are annoyances but, yes, st the same time the REAL issues EoW has are actually, bringing back ""classic"" 3D Zelda linear elements for the sake of tradition
Hot take, the palworld thing is deserved. That game is basically like I made a card game and summoned the Four Headed Yellow Eyes Silver Dragon againts Rexodium the Tormented, and instead of him having a pharaoh's crown he was using an aztec one. Is it straight up plagiarism? Debatable, but cmon now what were they expecting.
I agree Palworld is an obvious ripoff of Pokemon. But it has a unique twist which people are enjoying more than the actual thing. And now Nintendo suing them comes across as trying to eliminate competition rather than defending their IP. And it sets a bad precedent.
The palworld patent is actually kinda justified, there's a video by a lawyer named moon channel that explains why they sued them, and why they're actually suing sony indirectly

Awe, but look! The Deku Scrubs are back, and they're cute! < 3

"Clever dungeons" *shows the literal worst and most brain dead dungeon ever in a zelda game*
BOTW and TOTK want to know your location
*secret stone*
*demon king*
I just used it since it's an establishing shot of a dungeon. Sure it's not the best dungeon in the game, but "worst in the series"? Really?
Not when totk water "temple" exists 😭
Top class editing my guy, new sub get
No one cares
Why would you even take time out of your day to leave that comment? Ofc I care.
good video !!
Glad you enjoyed it

I agree!
...Except I actually liked triforce heroes. You only needed one copy to play with ur friends so we had fun with it

That's an interesting take 🤔. It makes me wonder if a game with both classic and new Zelda mechanics is even a good idea.
