I agree 100 percent. It’s a good fragrance and I like it and am glad I have it. It’s not a great fragrance. I do get 8 hours from it. If you get a bottle and can spray more then I believe your performance will be better.
That’s what I was thinking if I was able to spray the amount I usually do with fragrances I’m sure it might have lasted longer since more would have been on my clothing
I've watched a bunch of reviews of Icon; this one is (only) the second I think to mention the "grape soda" in the opening. I really dislike that part of this. At least it disappears, mostly, over a little time; then we're left with a very dull, "safe" scent, to me. I don't hate it, sometimes you need safe. Office scent etc. But I must say I'm super disappointed with Icon; love the bottle a lot though.
Great review, Yes, I had similar experience with ICON by Alfred Dunhill. I got the grape soda opening. I believe the first time I sprayed it on, I was overwhelmed by the pepper. I took me a while to get past the pepper overload. Not a horrible scent overall but not a masterpiece. I will say it's an unusual scent. I had a similar reaction to TOM FORD's NOIR ANTHRACITE this time the culprit was a heavy dose of Sichuan Pepper. I like fragrances with pepper but not so much the main player. There are just so many scents out there that use it better.
Yeah Anthracite was a trip I had that briefly I liked it, to me it was the niche version of Bogart signature, but I ended up selling anthracite on my Mercari page
haven't tried this one, but your description as an adult version of JB Silver Scent was enough to get an emphatic NO from me. I can still remember that synythetic, sweet grape soda note that had me rushing for the shower.
It’s not a bad scent I enjoyed it, it has the whole pepper and wood scent going for it as well, silver scent is just what came to mind but it’s definitely not a sweet mess like silver scent
Oh thats a great fragrance!! I've thought about buying it for a while but never pulled the trigger. I forget how it smells... def need to buy a sample.
You should try Oscar for men. It's discontinued but still cheap. Ramsey bought it on my recommendation absolutely loves it. No sweetness nice and peppery smells a lot like ceruttii 1881 but way nicer an in-depth and unique. It seems like it would be right up your alley. Kind of like Dolce and Gabbana pour Homme with 1881 with pepper, leather and fir added. Ramsey thinks it's an underrated gem and I have to agree. Classy and masculine, before everything became sweet and feminine.
Funny you mention that one, it’s been recommended to me for a while by many people and I ordered it last week so just needs to arrive, I love pour lui so I hope I enjoy this one
Cool that you get that wood scent. For me it's a pretty basic peppery neroli and aromatic lavender on an ashy base. But it's the cardamom in the mid that really got me to like it. Originally the juniper didn't really fit either, but the formula actually got better with time. Sitting around.....not being used. 😆 Love the bottle design too. Doesn't layer very well, but now it gets some good use in the spring. 🌄
Great for office or day. Went easy on the trigger, two light sprays on neck, heck, even a good shower in between and still nice whiffs now and then, after 20 some hrs.
Almost gave this one a pass because of the "grape soda" vibe I kept hearing about, but glad I grabbed a bottle. Very unique and classy fragrance. Icon Elite is probably my favorite of the line -- a very nice woody scent.
This one is the best in the line, but I also enjoy Icon Racing. It’s the dark green one. It’s a fun playful summery version, but it has that bubblegum/ Invictus opening, so if you hate that - then don’t bother.
As a lover of classic scents, that's one of the few non niche releases of the last year's, that I really like. Performance is great on me.
Mine just arrived yesterday. Fresh, sexy, masculine. Gentleman in a bottle. So good!
I wore this yesterday. I like it for warm weather. It sleeps in cold weather.
This is one of my favorite fragrances. For me it's 10/10.
It’s good I enjoy I need to get a bottle so I can spray a bunch more on each wearing
I think it's a nice and classy scent 👌🏼
The 100ml bottle is a brick 😂
That has to be close to 8-10lbs lol
U have to try the Dunhill Egyptian Smoke.....
Great review Kelan keep it up 👍👏👏👏
Always dude !
Everybody loves the green bottle called dun hill race/what age group you think this is for? What season?....
Eh whenever I see all the colored flankers of newer scents I always get the “it’s going to be really sweet” image, I could be wrong but though
I've been thinking of trying the green bottle. I'm looking for a banger lime scent and this was recommended to me.
@@daviddixon2209don’t it smells very generic dunhill icon racing blue is better

I take this on holiday and wear it on hot humid nights out in the Med. Its also a good work office daily.
Icon Elite is probably the next best. I got the 1.7 on FragranceNet for like $17 last summer.

Those are not scents that I own nor do enjoy those so I doubt I’ll ever make a video on them unfortunately
Fantastic fragrance with great quality

Yeah give it a shot I enjoyed wearing it
This is a fragrance that i grown to love it. Great one. masculine, with a lot of cardamom and pepper. and a cedar base.
Definitely get that cedar as well
Great review and I enjoyed it and I'm going to try it and have a blessed day

I need to get a bottle to spray more that I did

Is that the gold one ?

Love the stuff. One of my office go to’s. Just clean, refined and professional. Kind of a smoother, brighter TdH edt, which I also enjoy. 👍🏻

Still waiting for your review of "Eau de Prosciutto." 🍕🤔😆🤣
Anytime sir! Enjoy it and appreciate the review.
Thanks so much dude !
A very masculine neroli, pepper and vetiver to my nose. Extremely versatile.
Good masculine scent for an older man. I love it.
Tried it didn’t like it
