Tal is 36 years old as of Feb 2023, so lets get that straightened out, she's not as young as everyone thinks she is. When she started with Jeff she was 24 and had only been playing bass for 2 years, which is astounding as some of the bass parts she was playing, for example at the Ronnie Scott's gig, were quite technically demanding. She is also a groove machine and I love that about her, she is content to just play the groove. It's interesting that the guitar player in this video is playing parts right out of Jeff's book. She is a natural and has rocketed to fame faster than anyone I've ever seen. Just sayin'

I crashed a sound check there one afternoon while visiting my son. Turned out to be the ELO (sans Jeff Lynne of course). My daughter in law saw the sign I blew through but I said "I'm from Austin. I know how to act. " The band was very gracious. Nice guys. That was Oct 2022. Looks the same.

Some good moments there, I liked what they did with that smiths cover, some great moments, I think that back-and-forth between her and the drummer could’ve been a little talilored down, but I might’ve felt differently if I’ve been in the same room with it. Basically love Tal, love this band

Tal is the best base player and has been for some time . In the words of those who know , Jeff Beck stated she is to be compared to Jaco Pastories , what a comment . I find her amazing, her musicianship and music passion is second to none. If you play with the greats because you are this professional is why she has played with Mike Oldfield, see her with Jeff live at Ronnie Scotts. Says it all folks. Her image is her tree mark but her music does the talking.

For years she has been in the background watching folks like Beck and Imogen take the spot light although they always have her credit ,,,I think just me she should do an album with Beck and company there is something about Beck that makes Tal ( Glow)

The “I am the sun,” ☀️ “I am the Earth,” is cool. But not grabbing me as much. Her overall dimensionality is VERY DOPE though! 👍🏾🔥🔥🔥 I bet she could almost play on the parts on each instrument 🎸🎹🥁… but the band is cool. Refreshing stuff 👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽. Anybody can have an off night, she may have been ill or tired here. Usually her vocals and pitch are spot on.
I think it had a lot to do with the venue as well. Regardless, she's amazing as are the rest of the band.
