Sealing wax red. Common vw bus colour until 1965 when it was replaced by titan red. So a 1967 bus would have titan red paint not deal wax red when it came out of the factory.

Thank you for the color name distinction. I sold a 1960 23 window bus in 2023 that was Sealing Wax Red, and I thought Britta looked similar. But I wasn't sure.

@@stevetheodore_specialtycars it came out of the factory as titan red. Somebody did a sealing wax red respray.
