Thanks a lot Noel! 🙌 loads of content still to come! I have a heck of a backlog haha Geneva 80k, Lavaredo by UTMB, Zermatt Ultra and Verbier St Bernard coming up 😰😰
Brilliant effort and achievement, all the pains and suffering still beats being stuck behind a desk in the office 💪 interested to see how you plan to "pace to last", I did my first ultra back in May, having the discipline to do 8 min per km sure felt weird for the first 10km, but it enabled me to do the last 5km sub 5 (albeit along a beach), look forward to your next video already! 🏁
Thanks a lot Oliver! Kudos to you for your pacing discipline!! I’ve got to get better at that as you saw! Loads of content on it’s way with 4 additional preparation races. Thanks for following! 🙏
Thanks Matt! Compared to some of the upcoming races I will feature, this was on the lower end of technicality but you are right some sections were pretty tricky.
Lovely video as always! thank you! How do you pace yourself? Do you use HR or you go by feeling? If you use HR, do you try to stay in Z2 the whole way? I'm still trying to figure out the best strategy to pace myself in races
Thanks a lot! I have been pretty bad at being disciplined in pacing myself but yes I use the HR. For those long races it is key to stay in zone 2. With a heavy pack the HR goes up fast even at a very slow pace, so it is not easy haha it’s all about practice 😄
Great work! One step closer to the big one.
Thanks Jeff! Yup will need your advice before then haha
Another great video!! We are cheering for you!! 🎉🎉💪🏻💪🏻
Thanks so much Alex! I will need all your support on D-Day! 😰😰😰
Great video with excellent content, bravo! Good luck for UTMB.
Thanks! More content to come with several additional preparation races in awesome locations! Hope you enjoy the rest as well 🙌
Excellent effort! 👏
Thanks Tom! 🙌
