Hi Erin! Just wanted to tell you that I am in love with your content and your personality. I'll be honest, I first thought I won't be interested at all cause it seemed to me like a bit too much in terms of physique and fitness level. I've been following some other fitness youtubers (like Gymshark ones for example) and it helped get into a gym for the first time of my life (at 29 yrs old). It's been two years already but now that I am more into fitness, I can see the difference in terms of quality content between a professional like you and other amateurs. When I got bored - and annoyed- by Gymshark athletes videos about glutes, glutes and glutes for the millionth time, I turned into AthleanX channel. Jeff Cavalier is amazing and his content is so knowledgeable. But I am glad you started your channel as well. I feel like Utube missed a genuine female fitness reference. I wish you were here a while ago. It would have been the greatest source of information and motivation for a lot of other women (and men) who are not necessarily obsessed by the size of their butt. I am now working out my upper body more than my lower and damn, what a difference in terms of results and definition! Anyway, keep up the great work. I like your positive mindset and the way you start with "Hi it's Erin" with that lovely smile! It makes me hit the like button right away, haha!

There is a gap on RUclips between personality and knowledge. Very few people have both....and Erin is one of them. We’ve been putting out content consistently for about 10 months and the channel is growing. Hopefully people will continue to tune in/like/and share the videos and RUclips won’t miss out!

Hi Erin, I'm almost 61 and did this workout for the first time tonight in my home gym, I don't have all of the machines (many dumbells and free weights) but improvised a a great deal to achieve the same result. I just started doing strength training about (consistently) about 30 days ago and I am seeing slight gains. But I am seeing definition which I've never seen before. I enjoy your channel better than any other fitness related channel, because you take the time to explain, demonstrate and encourage. I took my measurements today and will look at them in another 30 days. This workout kicks my tail end and I like it! I appreciate the challenge.
I hate that I don’t have this hidden gem of gym you got and if I do it’s. It affordable 🙂 and I wouldn’t know where to start as my anxiety with flare with all the fancy equipment. I love you Erin thx for the videos.

I did this working out today but since I am cutting for the summer, I did low reps higher sets and added a few extra shoulder workouts and my shoulders are BURNING 🥵 amazing!!! Thank you Erin for this amazing and free workout

Erin, is it better to start with a heavier weight like a ten pound dumbbell to do the lat raises as you’ve demonstrated and do fewer because it’s harder or use a lighter weight to get stronger then switch to a heavier? Love your video btw! They are so incredibly helpful!

Just did this today. I really like the Hammer Strength machines. I am sure there were a few people who just wanted to know if either I could not read or am Dyslexic, but WHATEEEVER..still liked it. I felt like the exercises were pretty kind to my shoulders. Thanks for the tips and another way to attract attention...in a good way. Your workouts make me feel unique in a world of sameness.
@@ErinSternFIT I am surprised I actually even did something so different. I have wanted to try the sissy squat hack in the Smith Machine using the dumbbells and bar, but such a chicken. But I should not let that stop me. I actually had a guy come up to me when he saw me doing the hack squat with the plates and the bar behind me. He was so surprised. Anyway thanks for all the wonderful words and tips. You explain thing really well. You make things easy to understand. I really appreciate when you let us know something like fast twitch/slow twitch muscles. It brings such science down to our understanding, at least mine.

I have a mesomorph body type so your workouts are perfect for me, especially upper body. My lower body is very stubborn however. Banana rolls, stubborn calves and quads. So I've been pounding my lower body to a pulp trying to force more growth.
Thank you so much for this! I find so many of your variations incredibly relevant for me! I used one of your leg day videos to rewire my leg day to stop lighting up my low back stabilizers (been fighting back spasm for months now). I'll use several of these to rewire shoulder day to grow more boulder shoulders while minimizing trap and low back stabilizer involvement. Those face pulls I can easily do by adding a bench to lay my chest on much like you demonstrated in the single arm lateral deltoid raises.

Can you do the machine with no weight and self-spot? Or, is it too heavy?
