@@joekustek2623 Sarah (the bass player) used to play upright slap bass in a rockabilly band. Her technique is very much the same as a lot of double bass players, who move their hands rather than fingers. She's got her thumb anchored on the back of the neck, which most double bass players do. As long as she's in the pocket and hitting the right notes, her technique doesn't really matter.

Very cool, love the melody and rhythm, the drummer really brings out the rhythm. Very cute room and outfits! Guitars are precious too, lots of personality and great sound!
Thank you, Surfrajettes! You are one of the reasons why I decided to take up guitar to play surf music 6 months ago at 68 y.o. I've played bari sax, flute, sop sax, and bass clarinet for a super long time, but new to guitar. Thank you again, love the tune and the outfits take me back to flying in the 60s.
Love this! My daughter and I got to see you in Sacramento and the show was killer. Congrats on the upcoming tour! We saw Rev. Horton Heat as well and this is going to be an incredible show.
Good afternoon . I- I love this music , beautiful, wonderful ladies - your playing is fantastic! never stop playing! the world is more beautiful under the influence of your music!!! thank you for your music
Glad I came across this band a couple weeks ago. Great music cool interviews and gear demos. So cool! I have to mention that I keep finding live concerts of The Surfrajettes on other RUclips channels. I think the band should get access to those videos and any missed revenue.
Saw this band live in North Tonawanda, NY; June 13. Great show a fun band and they all play so well. Cool Slingerland Blue Satin Flame drum kit in the corner..had a brief chat with drummer Annie about vintage drums on the way out. They are nice folks..took the time for a meet and greet after their show.
When I saw the girls wearing those caps (hats) on the preview I decide to watch the video. That's why. Those caps (hats) are called пилтотка in Russian meaning 'the pilot's hat'. But not only pilots but millions of common Soviet soldiers in WWII were wearing those hats. That's why now in Russia on 9th of may 'the Victory day' girls in Russia wear пилотки 'the pilot's hats' in memory of our grandfathers. Of cause, I knew Surfajettes and I knew that there is no connection with our 'Victory day' but anyway thank for the great song beautiful surf ladies!
they say it not possible to time travel...you ladies make it possible with your setup of your playing space, your outfits and boots, and of course the music...thank you for everything you do
It's just nice to see people using real amps in a world full of Kempers and Fractals and Helixes. Also, I like the "room audio only" technique of this video as well as these ladies' other videos. It sounds perfect.
Love to see you back at Pappy + Harriet’s Pioneertown Palace. My medical office here in Palm Springs has a mid century vibe complete with your album on the console stereo,

Great new outfits. Surfrajette Airways.......the coolest way to fly!
That bass line is great!!
Love the music and the outfits. Thanks for sharing!
I like the heavy bass on this one!
Got to give the bass player a ton of love on this one.
Why just this one?
A lot of left hand movement that was not needed. We call this flying fingers and not in a good way.
