first, you did a fabulous job narrating the video! also, thank you for video'ing a clean cabin. :) you really covered all aspects of interest to me. i am not sure on the price difference between 'signature suite' and 'mini-suite'. the perks may be worth the price difference. i do miss the dressing area on the prior princess ships (e.g. discovery princess). that is the only aspect I wish they'd add back.

Hi. Thank you so much for your feedback. Afterall if no one likes or watches our videos it is not worth our time making.
In reply to the costs of the suite we were originally booked in a Premium Deluxe Balcony Cabin with Princess Plus and was £1614 each. We put in a low bid offer for the upgrade to a suite for an additional £215 each. That was an incredible offer and could not believe it when we were successful . I am not sure what a Mini suite would have cost on our cruise but I have looked up a similar itinerary/ship for April 2025 and a mini suite with no perks is £2184 and an S9 Signature Suite is £3588. Quite a difference for the suite perks. I did love the size of room and would have had a wonderful time even if we do not have the suite perks. They just made the cruise even more special and one we will never forget.
We do have a cruise booked on Star Princess in a Cabana Mini Suite and will consider an upgrade again if a good price. I am not sure if the minimum upgrade we had is the usual price so we do feel very lucky and for us it was worth every penny. Whether we would pay nearly double the price is a tough one especially on a port intensive cruise.
I know what you mean about the dressing area. But the mini suite is long and did give enough room around the wardrobe area to get dressed and the bathroom is a decent size. Hope you enjoy your next cruise

Great video! Quick question, does that sofa turn into a bed?

Hi. The cabin is advertised for up to 3 people so the sofa would be used as there was no bed from the ceiling that we could see. The sofa was only used to sit on in our cabin and we did not see it converted into a bed. Apologies as I can't be more specific. This wont be helpful to you on this occasion but we will take more note on future cruises

I've never stayed in suite. It looked very spacious. Did they provide a kettle and tea for non-coffee-drinkers like me?

Hi Joan...we certainly feel VERY lucky to have managed to get this cabin on an upgrade bid. Yes, if tea drinkers would prefer a kettle then they'll be happy to oblige. Alison & Ian
