Great video thanks. Am in a suite in September on Sun. At breakfast do they include the complimentary Mimosa like they do for suite guests on other ships? Thx.
Hi. To be honest we did not notice if Mimosa was on the menu. However the staff were so accommodating that they would try and please all requests. Thank you for your kind comments
Hi Joan. Yes the ship was big...but in general, very easy to navigate...apart from a couple of places that seemed to be hidden away or only accessible by going up a deck before then coming down a deck at the next set of stairs. Thoroughly enjoyed her though. Alison & Ian
@@AgelessCuriosity Thanks so much for the great information, I'm also booked in a S9. I'll be embarking in Rome this August. Can you let me know what is a good time to arrive for embarkation (as early as possible)?
@@Chinchilla604 Hi. You'll get given a time when you can embark, which you'd be wise to stick to...however the golden rule is never to travel (fly) on the day you depart...so as long as you're in the region...say Rome its a 45min journey via train out to the port and then a 15min walk to the port. Hopefully that helps ☺ Alison & Ian
You mention in the beginning that these are the perks for a "full suite" but then mention you were in a Mini Suite. Are these perks different? I understood from the sales talk that the Premium Suites have different inclusions.
Hi there. On our Sun Princess cruise, there were 4 types of full suites, with the lowest category S9 being a mini suite cabin but with access to the Sanctuary, Signature lounge, and restaurant. Princess are confusing with their cabin types. Since October, they have introduced Sanctuary class of Cabins, which can be a standard balcony cabin, mini suite or full suite. Cruise deck plans.com compares the various types and shows the cabin codes. Ours was S9. Hope this helps 😀
The premium suites, at least when we sailed back in March of 24’ (It was the sun princess 3rd voyage) had special seating and arrangements for the theater and other shows. Then there was a set amount of seats that the concierge would help all general suites get access too before general population got a chance to reserve tickets. However, that second pool of tickets was not inclusive of everyone in a suite so there was a chance if you are in a mini suite you wouldn’t get a ticket. All other perks like she mentioned in the video were identical.
We reserved a M2 Mini Suite for May of 2025. My understanding is that we don't have access to the Signature Lounge and we don't have priority embarkation on tenders or shore excursions. We do have embarkation and debarkation priority. Is that your understanding as well?
Hi Teresa. I believe this is the case. However there are changes to suite privileges later this year and more cabins will have access to the Sanctuary. Perhaps check with Princess if this applies to you. I am sure you will have a wonderful cruise regardless.
Hi. No sadly the Santuary is currently for full suites only. In October there is a new category called Santuary collection which does include non suite cabins. It all seems rather confusing. The Cabana deck on 9 is for a specific type of Cabana mini suite. Again Princess have created confusion with the range of cabins and perks.
Unfortunately there is still a charge. At the moment I understand it is $499 . I am sure that will need to be reviewed as no one seemed to be using it.

That ship looks huge. Did you have trouble finding your way around? The food looks very good.

Princess always seemed to be bringing up the rear when it came to their suites and perks. Better late than never, I guess.

Is the reserve mini suite include the sanctuary outside area? Also does the cabana deck include that area too?

special gym for suites ?
Hi Heidi, no not on Sun Princess.
Is there an additional charge for a cabana if you are in a sanctuary suite?
Unfortunately there is still a charge. At the moment I understand it is $499 . I am sure that will need to be reviewed as no one seemed to be using it.
