I like worgen the most in cata. I'm a 20 year horde player and this is my first time rolling ally as a worgen and all my horde chars were on a dead server so i had to transfer them. I'm lost in all the main cities but I'm having fun I lvl 60 in about a week now and should be 80 by the time cata comes out. One of the best expansions in my opinion.
My favorite Cataclysm memory is the total refresh of everything! I was just a kid when Cata came out and never got to do end game content so excited to hit it with the boys in a few days!
My favorite is probably that 10man raiding drops the same loot as 25man raids. Makes it an actual option to raid 10man throughout the expansion instead of opting into 25man raids. Especially beneficial for smaller guilds or friend groups.
My favorite feature is flying in Azeroth, but theres so many things that make Cata great. The increased difficulty to heroics, the revamped old world, transmogs, good pvp, the smooth new leveling zones, especially Hyjal.
I don't really have any memories about Cata because I never got to play the original version. But from the videos and guides I've watched from you, and other creators, I've become very excited to try it for the first time and clear content with my guild!
I started in MoP, playing as a kid. I've always loved the questing zones, especially Vashjir (and hope they make more underwater zones eventually)! Leveling in the Cataclysm zones always brings back fond memories of leveling my first toon(s) with my dad, who had to help me the whole way through it. I'm excited to experience it as it was current content!
It was the first expansion where I was there during it's original launch, having started playing on Wrath in retail. There was so much excitement and being able to level with players who became friends in Wrath and still friends to this day. Reminiscing, to the time I first went through it.
My favorite feature going into cataclysm is the new talent trees for leveling. Having access to dual wielding as a shaman at level 10 makes it feel so much better to level
Cataclysm is all brand new for me.. that is what is exciting on my end. I started playing WoW for the first time during WoTLK classic and absolutely fell in love with the game. Going through Naxx, Ulduar, ToGC, etc was an amazing experience, and getting to run that and hearing about all the nostalgia from Guild mates made the experience just that much better. Now getting to experience cataclysm for the first time is going to be great as well I hope.
This will be my first time playing Cataclysm and watching all the changes they've made to different classes makes me really hyped to try it out, plus 10 man raids in my opinion will be more fun.
I have always been an Indiana Jones fan and when I played the original release of Cataclysm, I was super excited to see Harrison Jones show up as the Archaeology trainer and the ensuing questline in Uldum! Looking forward to revisiting this in Classic as I took your advice and already have two max level archaeologists.
Cataclysm was the first xpac I got to play from launch, joining my godfather (who has recently passed) on Tichondrius as a Tauren Paladin. Was hooked ever since.
I got my own account near the end of wrath, but didn't really get engrossed into the game until cataclysm. The Goblin and worgen are by far my favorite starter zones, but my favorite experience would have to be with my hunter. I had started leveling during wrath of the lich king but didn't finish until cataclysm, and in between that time I had no idea the burning steppes quests were changed / added. Leveling through the burning, dangerous land of the Steppes in a world on fire with my pet companion, and discovering new lore and backstory behind a character while undergoing covert operations and missions with them was truly an experience I will never forget as it is one of the reasons I continue to love and play wow to this day. The passion in the design, the storytelling and the coincedence that I went to that zone and found his quests, have stuck with me as one of the reasons this game is so wonderful to this day :) (also as an inscriptionist... mysterious fortune cards hehe)
my favorite thing about cata is the class overhaul system. Makes every class feel like it has a unique playstyle, even tho it kinda spreads the amount of buffs people can uniquely have :)
I played all the way through vanilla to Catacylsm back in the day - which is where my journey ended. Unfortunately this was due to going to University and not because I didn’t like the expansion. My most found memory of Cataclysm is when I got the full tier set on my Worgen Mage - it felt so good! Not only was it hard to get, but I really loved the mage tier sets back in the Cataclysm. Getting this set was a great end for me and I felt I accomplished something, which was rare to me, after been playing WotLK in which I didn’t get the same experience. Winning or losing this this contest makes no difference - keep up the good work and never stop with the archeology mate til you get what you need! Lots of love from a fan!
Most enjoyed the flight transmog farm and new gold farms it added, kinda felt like classic plus giving you a reason to explore the new map getting archeaology which is super fun and casual way to get gold and theres a ton of boes from dungeons that are now worth something and old items that were worthless or not worth alot or didnt sell now are worth alot and are selling its giving more reason to spend gold and thus giving more reason to farm the AH its brought a ton of great quality of life stuff to the game love this Xpac
I went to Game Stop at Midnight with my older sister because I was like 13 years old. I remember just being super excited to be part of an expansion because I was a WotLK baby. Cata has always had fun spot in my heart :) - Raiding Firelands as a Firemage was so much fun and definitely my highlight hahaha
Flight in the old world was really cool. The changes to old zones were interesting. It's a mixed blessing because when something is lost forever it's always sad, but ultimately, seeing the world change was damn cool. Archaeology is fun. An interesting way to get some history of the game, a way to fill a lot of time on bored max level characters between raids, and it had some decent rewards. I like how they developed the storyline and how it added to the overall plot of the game. Deathwing was definitely an epic threat. He was a villain way back in Warcraft 2, his children the villains from vanilla WoW came back, and Deathwing destroyed big chunks of the world simply by entering it. Chekhov's guns fired a volley there. We even got to see what would happen in the future if we failed to stop him. The stakes were high. As for a great memory, this might sound odd, but I'd go with the dwarven wedding quest chain in the Twilight Highlands. It was far more fun than most escort or rescue quests, and yet it was tied in to the overall plot a lot more than you'd expect from something so lighthearetd.
I honestly think my favorite Cataclysm feature has to be both grinding on Archeology and the transmogrifier. I played WoW back in the day but never got high enough of a level to experience what Cat truly had to offer.
I didnt have the opportunity to play Cataclysm back then, but i am really enjoying all the QOL changes vs Classic. Also the Graphic changes and the New Race's and their Starting Zones are very enjoyable! Now that im learning about X-mog , i really am happy about that update also!
Cataclysm was my 1st expansion on official blizzard servers, i remember doing daily q for molten front back in my middle school to get my cool hippogryph. Those were good days :D And i will so do it again for sure.
My favourite thing about Cataclysm must be, unironically, archaeology. I love the fact that it makes the world feel alive with everybody flying around.
You are wrong about me being wrong. At the time of making this video, which was 7 days ago, the Pterrordax Hatchling was not available & was confirmed by Blizzard in a Bluepost to be 525 skill-only. They also stated they would not hotfix anything until after the release of Cataclysm Raids, aka May 30th. However, they put in a hotfix literally 12 hours ago which now makes this pet obtainable. If you would watch me on Twitch, where I can update you alot faster instead of making videos on everything at the exact moment these patches/hotfixes come out, you would know I already know the pet is now obtainable :)
Definitely loved the revamped leveling zones being an altoholic myself. But im most excited for the new way 10 mans are being handled, having the harder system in place!
What I really like about cataclysm is how you can very quickly get alts up to pace for raiding on multiple toons. It's the most alt friendly expansion so far.
I never played cata back in the day, but I forsure look forward to the dungeon/heroic dungeon grind with my boys and I getting our pre raid bis, super pumped
Didnt play cataclysm back in the day but when i saw the trailer i got really pumped, so im just hyped to see the new world in cataclysm and start leveling in the new zones
The Cataclysm was one of my favorite wow expansions. I enjoy exploring the game world and lore. It was very interesting for me to see how different locations changed after the events of the Сataclysm. The amount of work Blizzard did back then was simply amazing. It is very sad that almost no one appreciated this.
I really like the theme of the expansion. By that I mean that each of the new zones besides Twilight Highlands represent an element(Vashj'ir is water, Hyjal is fire, Uldum is air and Deepholm is earth). The way they were integrated in the world was ingenious(also, BoT looming over Loch Modan is so cool to see as a low level player) and added a new nuance to an already rich universe.
I started in the Cata prepatch, getting my first character to 85 durring dragon soul. I remember dingging and going into Stormwind to ask if there was any blacksmith who could make me some armour. And some amazing soul, who's name is now lost to me, flew over, opened trade, and gave me a full set of the 85 pvp plate. Said it was a gift and flew off. I'm not sure if I would still be playing wow if it wasnt for the sense of community he instilled in me that day.
What I liked the most about Cataclysm was the Firelands raid. Its full of unique and memorable bosses and the Ragnaros fight on heroic is still one of the most epic encounters Blizz ever made.
I really like how the game feels in general. Talent system+how classes feel -> not that clunky anymore. The leveling experience is not as slow as it used to be aswell
Cataclysm was the first expansion where I took raiding to the next level and it was the best experience I’ve had in the game. Furthermore the holy power change made me fall in love with Ret Paladin and solidified my forever main character.
My favorite parts bc there was so many.. I loved picking a goblin. I also loved that cows could be pally! My fondest memories came from this expac bc it was my first time raiding.
I have several things I really enjoyed during Cata. Overall the PvP was awesome. Leveling in Deepholm was amazing. Another thing I really enjoyed in Cata was Raiding again in DS. My guild got server 4th in Heroic back then. It was a blast!
p1 raids been amazing to me back in the day, loved progging the fights especially the blind dragon, played hunter back then and tier set looked amazing
My favorite memories were owning the molten front for days with some friends when it released & doing my first few Battlegrounds after getting one of the realm first Legendary staffs on my Shadow Priest. Good times!
I've never played Cataclysm but so far the pre-patch feels way more fun than all of the normal Wotlk stuff before that. I never liked spamming dungeons for emblems, but now with the new class changes everything feels soooo good and it's been great to get the justice points cap to prep for the Cata release!
Cataclysm was the first real break that I took but I was young and wanted to focus on other things at the time. I am really looking forward to seeing the raiding content and the pvp this time around because i always hear about how great of an expansion cata was. A lot of people have a sour taste in their mouth about this expansion as it transitioned from wrath but as someone who has played every expansion except dragonflight I am very much hoping that the cata crowd is very positive. Also, your grind is nuts and I hope you get all the epics before the release!
I farmed with you, the shield also fell out at the beginning, but then after fixing archeology, the staff fell out. As a result, I spent about 70 hours on the staff, I wish you good luck in farming.
My favorite thing about Cataclysm was the Firelands. My first character was a paladin and the immolation set is by far my favorite set of gear. Additionally, every boss fight was absolutely amazing. Firelands is the raid that got me into raiding in the first place.
I'm loving pvp so far in cata, everything was kinda buggy at first but pre-patch added cool abilities to everyone, especially new pally with the holy stacks
I don't really have a favorite thing/memory because I stopped playing during WotLK originally. That being said I am very much looking forward to experiencing new things for the first time in a long time during this go around with Cata.
Never been on to level characters, but so far leveling has been a blast. I’ve been a Druid main since I first started, but with the druids util being changed I’ve started a disc priest.
Really excited for the enhanced flexibility for raiding with 10/25 man offering equal gear. Gonna be great for guilds that can struggle to get a full 25man team together consistently. So hyped for this xpac!
I remember about 12 years or so i started playing wow on monster wow (private Server). And to this day i have never had a better wow experience then on this cataclysm server. I cant wait to finally play cataclysm again and do PvP. One of the best Pvp expansions in my oppinion. Doing archeology right now too.. got the raptor but no zin rokh in sight ;(
They gave me my own personal boat!! I stopped playing wow midway through wotlk way back in the day. I knew all the zones inside and out. I am tickled pink right now going through the revamped world, the new quests are so fun and cute and in thousand needles they gave me my own personal boat which is awesome!!
What I liked most about Cataclysm was the difficulty of the dungeons to start out, people had to re-adjust and actually use their CC's and play smart instead of just zerging everything.
Best expansion I played back in the days, I created my first own guild to do RBG's with my IRL friends and some others we recruited... So much good memories like when our hunter almost peed himself defending a base in Arathi or the time we break achievements ratings all together !
Finding my epic staff and trinket and as someone who started in ulduar. I haven’t played as much as everyone around me and in my guild. But I really like the changes to the classes I play and learning about the lore and seeing the changes in the world. I can’t wait to get into the raids.
When we finally killed Raggy HC, after 500 tries. It was euphoria! That boss broke me, and it was such a load off my shoulders when he finally died. Its a hate/love relationship, it was hard, but it was rewarding!
I cannot wait for heroic dungeons they hold alot of nostalgia for me and I honestly think they are super fun!! thanks for the guides mate got the staff today yewww!!!!

I like worgen the most in cata. I'm a 20 year horde player and this is my first time rolling ally as a worgen and all my horde chars were on a dead server so i had to transfer them. same here, never played alliance - but just lvled a alliance warrior this time round. i feel dirty!
My favorite Cataclysm memory is the total refresh of everything! I was just a kid when Cata came out and never got to do end game content so excited to hit it with the boys in a few days!
My favorite Cataclysm feature is Solheim's Archeology grind. Truly amazing
My favorite is probably that 10man raiding drops the same loot as 25man raids. Makes it an actual option to raid 10man throughout the expansion instead of opting into 25man raids. Especially beneficial for smaller guilds or friend groups.

I love the faster-paced lvling. Makes lvlibg alts way more doable and less of a chore. Big motivation boost there!
I started in MoP, playing as a kid. I've always loved the questing zones, especially Vashjir (and hope they make more underwater zones eventually)! I really enjoyed all the class changes that expanded a ton of rotations. As a ret pally main this was a very warm welcome!
Been really looking forward to both Archeology and Transmog! Generally new content for me since I have'nt played Cata before and I AM HYPED!
ngl i like the world rework^^ it was before a bit clunky imo and now with the new quest hubs its incredible.
p.s. thanks for ur amazing content

I'm really looking forward for blizzard word : new 5m difficulty :) i hope to having reason to do dungeons every day like retail M+
I did my first raid in cataclysm, i quit quite quickly. didn't know how these worked. I am really looking forward it re-do these!
I really enjoyed the leveling in the Deepholm. Really looking forward to dive in there again!

Huge thing is Archeology, I really love to farm and grind all the digsites, while thinking about my lifechoices. Best thing ever happend to me!
i stoped playing before cata launch back in days and now im excited to try it for first time... Love how strong my blood DK is atm ..
Dragon Soul was a favorite raid of mine and getting to experience it again as a different class will be fun. A lot of good memories with Cata.
I honestly think my favorite Cataclysm feature has to be both grinding on Archeology and the transmogrifier. I played WoW back in the day but never got high enough of a level to experience what Cat truly had to offer.

I'm very hyped for cata! It's an xpac I never played back in original release, I'm very excited for the raiding!
Most fond memory i have of cata is definitely firelands, the best thing ever for me back then was bringing ragnaros back and making him have legs.
Cataclysm was the first xpac where i went all in to get every reputation to exalted and get all the mounts/pets.. looking forward to do it again 😁👌
What I like most about Cataclysm Classic is the transmog system. I think that added so much to the game overall.
You are wrong about the Pterrordax hatchling requiring 525 skill as i can make it right now as of 18th/05/24 at 450 in prepatch.
You are wrong about me being wrong. At the time of making this video, which was 7 days ago, the Pterrordax Hatchling was not available & was confirmed by Blizzard in a Bluepost to be 525 skill-only. Fair enough :) just wanted to inform you
The raids in Cata are just amazing. I'm super hyped as many of the old raiders we had in OG Cata are back in the same guild!
Definitely loved the revamped leveling zones being an altoholic myself. But im most excited for the new way 10 mans are being handled, having the harder system in place!
What I really like about cataclysm is how you can very quickly get alts up to pace for raiding on multiple toons. It's the most alt friendly expansion so far.
honestly, this is my favourite addon because arms is love. I played it back in the day and im hyped af to play it now
I never played cata back in the day, but I forsure look forward to the dungeon/heroic dungeon grind with my boys and I getting our pre raid bis, super pumped
Didnt play cataclysm back in the day but when i saw the trailer i got really pumped, so im just hyped to see the new world in cataclysm and start leveling in the new zones
Great vid m8. Been following most of your suggestions!

I really like the theme of the expansion. The way they were integrated in the world was ingenious(also, BoT looming over Loch Modan is so cool to see as a low level player) and added a new nuance to an already rich universe.
Agreed, i felt the same way when i played cata when it first came out.
Cataclysm must be the time when i feel most at home. had fun with friends and guildies alike doing all sort of content.
I originally started playing wow in cata as a hunter and i really enjoyed twilight highlands for just the scenery.
First time playing Cata and enjoying the changes to the lower level dungeons so far!
p1 raids been amazing to me back in the day, loved progging the fights especially the blind dragon, played hunter back then and tier set looked amazing
My favorite memories were owning the molten front for days with some friends when it released & doing my first few Battlegrounds after getting one of the realm first Legendary staffs on my Shadow Priest. Good times!
Love having to revisit Kalimdor and Eastern Kingdom again. Rarely had a reason to go back in BC or WoTLK
Also, your grind is nuts and I hope you get all the epics before the release!
I really liked the lore and how it shook up the geography of the world/game, it brought some freshness to the maps.
I farmed with you, the shield also fell out at the beginning, but then after fixing archeology, the staff fell out. As a result, I spent about 70 hours on the staff, I wish you good luck in farming.

I loved how many more mounts they added. There are more dungeons for me to farm for mounts that it feels like before cata!
First time playing cata. Also missed wotlk so I’ve been having a blast playing classes the way they used to be.
I really like Uldum, it's one of my favorite zones of all time. The quest lines for it are also pretty interesting and enjoyable.

I remember about 12 years or so i started playing wow on monster wow (private Server). And to this day i have never had a better wow experience then on this cataclysm server. I cant wait to finally play cataclysm again and do PvP. One of the best Pvp expansions in my oppinion. Doing archeology right now too.. got the raptor but no zin rokh in sight ;(
I really love playing Worgen , definitely needed the movement ability on some classes like lock.
Cata heroic dungeons at launch was the most fun ive ever had. I hope they will still be challenging this time around
Never played cata, really hyped even from prepatch changes. Can't wait to experience it
I'm hyped for farming more mounts in Cataclysm, my favourite feature is obviously Transmogrification.
Firelands was my favourite thing about cataclysm, loved that raid!

My favorite part of Cata was the Spine of Deathwing fight from the last raid. Had an awesome time as a first time raider.
Healer changes are looking quite fun. I really enjoyed heroics with a solid group in original cata.
I loved farming Archaeology for half of my life!
I haven't gotten to play cata but I'm super excited. Transmog is the greatest add to this game and I can't wait for the new raids.
My favorite Cata feature is that its new, I'm new to the game so it's pretty much just entirely new content for me
I am really looking forward to playing with friends that are coming back and trying warrior for the first time!
Cataclysm was the first xpac I reached max level at back in the day. I also love Archeology.
Cata was the first expansion that i got to raid with all my high school friends. Looking forward to the raids.
