I like worgen the most in cata. I'm a 20 year horde player and this is my first time rolling ally as a worgen and all my horde chars were on a dead server so i had to transfer them. I'm lost in all the main cities but I'm having fun I lvl 60 in about a week now and should be 80 by the time cata comes out. One of the best expansions in my opinion.
same here, never played alliance - but just lvled a alliance warrior this time round. i feel dirty!
I really liked the lore and how it shook up the geography of the world/game, it brought some freshness to the maps.
First time playing cata. Also missed wotlk so I’ve been having a blast playing classes the way they used to be.
Huge thing is Archeology, I really love to farm and grind all the digsites, while thinking about my lifechoices. Best thing ever happend to me!
I originally started playing wow in cata as a hunter and i really enjoyed twilight highlands for just the scenery.
I did my first raid in cataclysm, i quit quite quickly. didn't know how these worked. I am really looking forward it re-do these!
Really excited for the enhanced flexibility for raiding with 10/25 man offering equal gear. Gonna be great for guilds that can struggle to get a full 25man team together consistently. So hyped for this xpac!
This will be my first time playing Cataclysm and watching all the changes they've made to different classes makes me really hyped to try it out, plus 10 man raids in my opinion will be more fun.
I don't really have a favorite thing/memory because I stopped playing during WotLK originally. That being said I am very much looking forward to experiencing new things for the first time in a long time during this go around with Cata.
Dragon Soul was a favorite raid of mine and getting to experience it again as a different class will be fun. A lot of good memories with Cata.
Most fond memory i have of cata is definitely firelands, the best thing ever for me back then was bringing ragnaros back and making him have legs.
Been really looking forward to both Archeology and Transmog! Generally new content for me since I have'nt played Cata before and I AM HYPED!

When we finally killed Raggy HC, after 500 tries. It was euphoria! That boss broke me, and it was such a load off my shoulders when he finally died.
Its a hate/love relationship, it was hard, but it was rewarding!
I loved farming Archaeology for half of my life!
i love the talent rework and getting some great passives at lvl 10 with a great ability for the spec
I will play Cataclysm for archaeology farming fun! I love the lottery system when solving artifacts you can never know what you get next!
My favourite thing about Cataclysm must be, unironically, archaeology. I love the fact that it makes the world feel alive with everybody flying around.

I love cata class balance and raids in p1 and p2, the pvp is amazing as well maybe one of the best xpacs and lets not forget the memories that it gave me back in 2011 when i was 12 yo blasting 1-2hc bosses :)
I like that we are able to fly in Kalimdor and Eastern kingdoms now.
Cataclysm was the first xpac I got to play so this is going to be crazy
I like how the game was changed and the end game raids, really glad that the rogues are not as bad as in wotlk and of course the epic daggers!
Honestly, I loved the new Heroics. They were much more challenging and fun to do. The dungeons felt more like what mythic dungeons became.
I honestly never got the hate for vashjir. I really enjoyed it.

I started in the Cata prepatch, getting my first character to 85 durring dragon soul. I remember dingging and going into Stormwind to ask if there was any blacksmith who could make me some armour. And some amazing soul, who's name is now lost to me, flew over, opened trade, and gave me a full set of the 85 pvp plate. Said it was a gift and flew off. I'm not sure if I would still be playing wow if it wasnt for the sense of community he instilled in me that day.

For me the raids are the best thing of cata, like them all very much
favorite part of cata has to be the spine of deathwing raid , stil remember the good old days when we were raiding , ontop of deathwings spine , tryharding and keep dying for so long , amazing memories

I enjoyed leveling through Vashjr back in the day and in the Firelands patch the dailies in Mount Hyjal were so much fun! I remember being the first to get the Flameward Hypogryph for completing all the achievements and they were all creative and I loved it!

my best memory from Cata is BWD raid probably for a lot of people to i will never forget the most intense boss there....THE LIFT... come on be honest you die to from it :)))))
ngl i like the world rework^^ it was before a bit clunky imo and now with the new quest hubs its incredible.

You are wrong about the Pterrordax hatchling requiring 525 skill as i can make it right now as of 18th/05/24 at 450 in prepatch.
You are wrong about me being wrong. At the time of making this video, which was 7 days ago, the Pterrordax Hatchling was not available & was confirmed by Blizzard in a Bluepost to be 525 skill-only. They also stated they would not hotfix anything until after the release of Cataclysm Raids, aka May 30th. However, they put in a hotfix literally 12 hours ago which now makes this pet obtainable.
If you would watch me on Twitch, where I can update you alot faster instead of making videos on everything at the exact moment these patches/hotfixes come out, you would know I already know the pet is now obtainable :)

My favorite is probably that 10man raiding drops the same loot as 25man raids. Makes it an actual option to raid 10man throughout the expansion instead of opting into 25man raids. Especially beneficial for smaller guilds or friend groups.
I will say I think if you are horde, it actually would be rather easier just to have hearth set to UC for eastern kingdoms, you can use portal to dark portal to get down by STV quickly and with a 15min cd is is gonna be ready by the time most arch spots have moved to upper half of the continent
Where in UC is the portal to the dark portal? I normally play Alliance, so Horde side is fairly new to me.

Cataclysm was the first xpac where i went all in to get every reputation to exalted and get all the mounts/pets.. looking forward to do it again 😁👌
My favorite feature is flying in Azeroth, but theres so many things that make Cata great. The increased difficulty to heroics, the revamped old world, transmogs, good pvp, the smooth new leveling zones, especially Hyjal.

Never played cata, i quit back in vanila wotlk and came back for vanilla classic, so i’m very hyped too play future than wotlk this time around! (Yes i’m a cata newbie)😭
I remember liking Cata but I had to move and ended up quitting wow until it was almost MoP.. tons of memories dueling in Goldshire and do remember DS but I’m pretty sure it was super nerfed by that time
So many people who actually care about the game will quit over archeology burnout due to lack of incompetence at the blizzard headquarters. Nobody is supposed to grind 100+ hours a week in a subscription based game in 2024 and maybe not even get anything with bad RNG. Terrible game design which could've been fixed on a monday morning while taking a shit after a coffee. Seriously they should just hire some people who actually play the game because its so obvious they don't know what the fuck are they doing anymore. Literally have to grind less in real life to achieve things. What a joke of an experience even in actual good expansion thanks to Blizzard. pfft

Woooooww!! I loved the Bug mount from archeology, the ultramarine battletank, mostly because it resembles the bugs from Starship Troopers movie. I loved that movie, I still watch it at lease once per year.

I didnt have the opportunity to play Cataclysm back then, but i am really enjoying all the QOL changes vs Classic. Also the Graphic changes and the New Race's and their Starting Zones are very enjoyable! Now that im learning about X-mog , i really am happy about that update also!
I do really like raids and HC dungeons in cataclysm, best memories and best experience i ever had! Progressing HC ragnaros especially :D ane mage combustion oh boi how much fun i have with mage on cataclysm. Looking forward to raid with my old friends back from 2011 we reunited with
The one thing I love about Cataclysm classic, is RBGs (and the Cataclysmic Glad recolor)!!!! Can't wait to queue some matches with some homies, I find RBG's way more strategic than arenas in PVP.
I have several things I really enjoyed during Cata. Overall the PvP was awesome. Leveling in Deepholm was amazing. Another thing I really enjoyed in Cata was Raiding again in DS. My guild got server 4th in Heroic back then. It was a blast!

Im farming on a mage (which is the best imo, tp to stonard/UC and HS in kargath works wonders), lets see if i manage to get staff or sword before cata launches, either i get i play that class (mage or war/dk) tbh.
I remember about 12 years or so i started playing wow on monster wow (private Server). And to this day i have never had a better wow experience then on this cataclysm server. I cant wait to finally play cataclysm again and do PvP. One of the best Pvp expansions in my oppinion. Doing archeology right now too.. got the raptor but no zin rokh in sight ;(
Cataclysm wise, I played it back in retail, but an looking forward to raiding something OTHER than ICC lol. Nothing specific I just want to see something new (well new a 2nd time lol).
I AM FISHFOOD and i love cataclysm but Blizzard dont love me thats why i get no epics on 3300 solves, but if i get epic i cant enjoy the raids in a good prepp!
I had the most unpopular opinion among all my friends I played with back in OG cata launch. They all hated Vashj'ir but man have I never fallen in love with a questing zone so much, I just loved the ambiance.. until it got really dark gloomy that is xd
Best expansion I played back in the days, I created my first own guild to do RBG's with my IRL friends and some others we recruited... So much good memories like when our hunter almost peed himself defending a base in Arathi or the time we break achievements ratings all together !
Cata was the first time I 'properly' played WoW and even then I only joined at the end of the expansion when dragon soul released. I've got fond memories of working on 10 man normal and heroic versions of the raid with my guild at the time and I'm glad I can now get in there at the start of Cata! Currently enjoying the same archaeology grind although seeing you at 90 hours is somewhat demoralising. Just keep digging eh
my fav part was probably the extremely controversial Vashj'ir. Lol. And while the old-world revamp ment the game lost some of it's leveling charm, it really did streamline things to make leveling a much smoother experience.
They gave me my own personal boat!! I stopped playing wow midway through wotlk way back in the day. I knew all the zones inside and out. I am tickled pink right now going through the revamped world, the new quests are so fun and cute and in thousand needles they gave me my own personal boat which is awesome!!
Honestly cata for me was just so good, i enjoyed all the zones for questing and farming, herbing, mining and so on. And ofc my favourite raid Firelands
My favorite stuff about cata is for sure raiding. The 2 first tier are amazing and the ragnaros fight is just wow. We Will not speak about T12, errors were made but all the stuff before is just great. And with classic things will go faster and I think content will be great !
I've never played Cataclysm but so far the pre-patch feels way more fun than all of the normal Wotlk stuff before that. I never liked spamming dungeons for emblems, but now with the new class changes everything feels soooo good and it's been great to get the justice points cap to prep for the Cata release!
The thing im most excited about in Cataclysm classic is definitely PvP (Arenas and RBGs) as Boomie. Can't wait to finally get some PvP action :3
With introduction of archaeology old world became filled with players once again! Also new combinations of race-class is amazing, all those tauren-paladins and trolls everywhere... hehehe!
I don't really have any memories about Cata because I never got to play the original version. But from the videos and guides I've watched from you, and other creators, I've become very excited to try it for the first time and clear content with my guild!
Cataclysm was the first real break that I took but I was young and wanted to focus on other things at the time. I am really looking forward to seeing the raiding content and the pvp this time around because i always hear about how great of an expansion cata was. A lot of people have a sour taste in their mouth about this expansion as it transitioned from wrath but as someone who has played every expansion except dragonflight I am very much hoping that the cata crowd is very positive. Also, your grind is nuts and I hope you get all the epics before the release!
My favorite parts bc there was so many.. I loved picking a goblin. I also loved that cows could be pally! My fondest memories came from this expac bc it was my first time raiding.
Hi I have no experience with cata wow I'm playing for the first time I'm the second generation of you who have already played it it's unbelievable how such an old game can still be popular now anyway as a newcomer I have such neutral feelings about cata so far there are too many changes for someone who is playing it for the first time like me but so far I'm enjoying the game very much I'm exploring the world of tactics that I have to learn and I hope that with the arrival of cata it will not change and I will continue to enjoy it as much I'm sure it will be great
I did play retail cata, i really enjoyed there being a new level of difficulty for the raiding experience, cleaned up the talent trees and the stats which was huge in my opinion. Bringing back khalimdor and eastern kingdoms and using the areas that we didnt have access was like the wait was over to see whats in those areas. theres plenty more that i enjoyed but not looing to write a book. but alot say that cata was trash and to me that is far from the truth. I think most are just trying to be part of the "cool" group even when they didnt even play OG cata. cheers mate!
My favorite thing about Cataclysm was the Firelands. My first character was a paladin and the immolation set is by far my favorite set of gear. Additionally, every boss fight was absolutely amazing. Firelands is the raid that got me into raiding in the first place.
Best memory I have regarding Cataclysm is Firelands and PVP, mainly arena's where I got my 2k rating for the first time :") golden times !
Cataclysm was the expansion me and my friends played during our most carefree teenage years, I'm so happy we'll be able to experience it again, hope I win the giveaway love your vids!
I don't think I'm ever going to get any of the epics. My best memory is leveling my shadow priest goblin, I really like how the classes are much more balanced.

Did play OG Cata, and i hope this goes also to MoP, I think Cata had alot of qol additions, also the difficulty of the heroic dungeons is something i love and of course the RBG'S
Back then I used to be a Worgen Fury Warrior with Herbalism maxed, I was a small child and I thought im unkillable! =)

Most enjoyed the flight transmog farm and new gold farms it added, kinda felt like classic plus giving you a reason to explore the new map getting archeaology which is super fun and casual way to get gold and theres a ton of boes from dungeons that are now worth something and old items that were worthless or not worth alot or didnt sell now are worth alot and are selling its giving more reason to spend gold and thus giving more reason to farm the AH its brought a ton of great quality of life stuff to the game love this Xpac

The best raid ive ever played is hands down Firelands most fun ive had in wow for a looong time and my fav leveling zone in cata is 100% Mount Hyjal

Raiding system and pvp for sure, these are the things iam most excited for. imo cata is underrated af. one of the most fun expansions ever made by blizzard.
Firelands has to be my favourite part of Cata. Had so many fun times raiding firelands on my shaman back in the day. thats also what im most keen for this time around also :)
Best tip: cancel sub for prepatch since archaeology is just a scam to keep the subs running during it, it´s not really even rng but rigged

I like lvling in vashjir. I know im in the minority there but the mount you get is super fast, the zone is small, and the naga storyline was awesome.
Didnt play cataclysm back in the day but when i saw the trailer i got really pumped, so im just hyped to see the new world in cataclysm and start leveling in the new zones
