After arriving in Kandy, Sri Lanka, we spent the first few days catching up on work. It has been raining quite a bit so it did make it a little difficult to explore.
Once the rain had stopped, it was time to go out an explore this lovely city. Kandy is also home to the first Ceylon tea manufacturer and therefore it was a must that we visit this place. We also headed out into the streets to find some street food and came across some weird street food here in Sri Lanka.
We found a guy that was making his own candy floss but he was using school books as the cone to put it in, hahaha. Loved the innovation this guy had and he was actually such a champ.

I do want to add a fact that you said in this video. Before British called the Island Ceylon, it had a name for over 2000 year written history like “Lanka”,“Tambapanni” and even ancient greeks called it “Taprobane”. British just decided to ignore all that and came up with their own name. They were not the first to give a name to the country.

Oh man you guys are missing out by not visiting Temple Of The Tooth, it's not just the Buddas tooth in there the temple it self has many things to visit including so many ancient art pieces and impressive architecture 😅

You should have visited the Temple of the tooth. It holds lord budda's tooth, the person who held it was considerd the king of Sri Lanka in ancient times. The temple it self used to be the Kings Palace, when Kandy used to be the Capital of Sri Lanka.
