Try to change your graphic options but i don't remember the one so i can't tell you the guilty, i just remember one day my settings were reset to the max and i was seeing almost nothing at that moment like you so one of them need to be put off or be less high.
There’s loads of steam guides if your interested in the nitty gritty, but as far as I recall the mace and sword have high base cleave and a solid horde clear plus attack speed and stamina which make it a great weapon all in all
@@dingusbingeri would add that It probably have the best push attack in the game: fast with wide hitbox and good armour piercing damage. Great against mixed hordes
The 2 first light with the mace have a very good stagger (with thp on stagger it's really good), heavys hits hard and push attack have insane cleave. You can move tech little with it and the mobility is fine, armor damage is fine.

I love foot knight with greatsword even tho great hammer is probably best.

I just got the dlc that gives the mace and hammer, why is it so highly regarded? It looks really fun but is it just high dps?
