Live at Oxford Polytechnic, 1981 - Glory Road Tour Ian Gillan (Vocals) Bernie Torme (Guitar) John McCoy (Bass) Colin Towns (Keyboard) Mick Underwood (Drums)
The very first record I bought with my self- earned money was at the age of 13 "Deep Purple in Rock". I still remember the magic atmosphere in my room while listening to their tunes, standing shivering at the gate to new musical universe. The sound of Ian's voice is the remedy for my soul helping me out of some dark days a few years ago. Soli Deo Gloria! What a great singer, God of all worlds, thanx a lot for this magical voice of this evidently blessed man! For: He's the fighter's fighting man!
Bernie shined like a diamond with Gillan..What a tone he had...all that harmonic dive bombing, saw them in Sheffield way back when... RIP BERNIE.🎸🎶🌹
Amazing player. Always my favourite
Bernie Torme excellentamundo!
Bernie Torme is my favourite guitarist. He’s so original, he’s like Hendrix, he makes sounds like a magician.
Классная команда, все такие живчики!) Ну и Гиллан-атаман вне конкуренции🙂👍

If these guys had two guitar players as cool as Bernie Torme' they could have rocked the socks of bands like Iron Maiden
RockNRollDad88 they did rock the sock off iron maiden. End of.
