I can understand his feelings, he loves her so much and he doesn't want to lose her. He was going to let the Volturi kill him because he thought she was dead. I can also see why she wants to keep the baby. This is actually something that probably would happen between a couple if the circumstances were right.
I understand his feelings but at the same time you have obligations to your child just as much as you do to your spouse. He hardly tried to see her perspective.

This is a choice many moms have to make. I have a very high risk pregnancy. I had to sign paperwork when i was admitted to the hospital that said who to choose if it came to a choice of saving me or the baby. Luckily, we are both healthy. My boy os perfect. But i chose him.

This whole part of the plot is so devastating. Edward turns his fear into anger with Bella even though he does not mean it. Same situation with Jacob, but different, ofcourse. Bella feels like everyone wants to eliminate her mericle child and is very protective over keeping it. She thought she had a good chance, while everyone else knew the statistics. It’s just so sad in the books.
