Vw Crafter Conversion Looks Like A Campervan NOW!!

We fitted windows into our 2019 vw crafter van conversion. This vw crafter is being converted into a campervan with the windows being installed it'll make the van conversion look less like a van and more like a campervan hopefully it'll stop any campervan break in attempts.
It took 3 hours 15 minutes each window. Total 6 and a half hours

I'll guess 2hrs 20mins. Fitted some from tradeglass myself to my vivaro. The fixed one leaked when stationary the opening one leaked when driving!!! Easy fix as I placed my origonal bead of sealant right next to the window trim, I whipped the trim off and applied more sealant in the gap and replaced window trim....... jobs a goodun!!!!

Get yourself down to a local Travis Perkins with tool hire you’ll be able to hire an angle grinder cheap enough obviously abit late now but maybe for your next one??

45 minutes 🙂 you are doing a grand job. I pooped myself doing the sliding door cos if I did a cockup it was new door+paint job. thankfully everything worked out ok and Viv-i-van looked awesome with windows. The feeling of joy when your van starts to look like a camper van and not a panel van is amazing. You did a fab job 👍 I'm deffo getting something I can stand up in next time. Bessy regs-Kenny

I tried her out in Lytham last weekend and all worked good-apart from having a backside too big for the portable bog....in my head was "Ineed a bigger van" your vids are seriously making me think about it.

Going to do this myself soon. I was thinking rather than drill a zillion holes, drill a starting hole and cut from the inside using the frame as a guide. Stick a wooden shim under the low side of the jigsaw so that it sits level. Would like to hear what you think
